A/N: Sorry for taking this long to update. I've been really so busy. :(( I've said previously that this will be the last chapter. Yes, this is the last. But to express my appreciation to everyone who continued supporting my story even it's not really that good, I would be posting another extra chapter by tomorrow or day after tomorrow. Originally, this was a very long chapter. I could have pushed through with it but I thought, why not give my readers one more chapter which wouldn't take long to be posted? Thus, I came up with a conclusion to separate that part of the story with this. Hope you'll still enjoy this. :)) This wasn't really edited fully. Sorry for all the mistakes.

After Winter Vacation

It's almost February. Cheongdam Art High School's winter vacation just ended and students started to rush back to school in the middle of a sunny but cold day. After alighting from his car, Sunggyu noticed Dongwoo and Sungjong approaching.

"Hyung!" Sungjong called and greeted him. Dongwoo raised his hand as a gesture of saying 'hi'.

Sunggyu smiled at them despite clenching his jaw because of the cold wind that touched his face. He met them halfway. "Dongwoo, Sungjong! How's your vacation?"

They chatted about everything they'd done during the almost a month of school break as they walked towards their office. Zico and Minhyuk were already inside when they arrived.

"Hey guys! How are you all doing?

"Fine." Zico and Minhyuk answered in unison which made all of them snicker.

"Gyu hyung, the DC wants you in their office before the class starts." The Grade 12 class representative informed him.

Sunggyu rolled his eyes because of what Minhyuk told him. "They are about to ruin my day again." He snorted.

"Actually, he's calling you and your ex-boyfriend together."

"What?!"

There was a creepy feeling emerging inside him. The discipline committee called him and Woohyun at the same time and didn't feel right. He tried to recall what happened during their winter vacation.

During the whole school break, they stayed at their vacation home in Jeju, never venturing out due to the cold weather. Therefore, no members of DC could have seen them together or known that they were married.

"Mr. Jo said that you and Woohyun were needed at his office. I already told Woohyun and he said he's coming to pick you up here." Zico responded.

Sunggyu looked at Zico in disbelief. "And you didn't tell him not to come here? I can walk there by myself."

"Gyu, your ex-boyfriend said he'd pick you up here whether you like it or not. So, if you don't want to be seen with him, you better go now since he'll be here in 5 minutes." The secretary replied to him nonchalantly.

He wanted to smack Zico for being so sneaky. "Your friend is unbelievable Zi. I'm going. Tell that idiot to go to the office alone. He's not a child to hide behind me."

Sunggyu made his way out and looked around for the shadow of his husband who he knew was lurking near the office. He found him walking towards him and he started walking slowly so Woohyun could match his pace.

They walked silently towards the Administration Building with the eyes of others darting towards them. Despite the cold wind slapping everyone on their faces, they still couldn't help but gossip.

He looked at them with a deathly stare when he heard someone say, 'Are they back together or is Woohyun in trouble again? They are heading to the DC office for sure.'

"Stop talking. We are not together and no one is in trouble. Go to your rooms or I'll meet you all in the indoor court." Sunggyu told the students off sharply.

Woohyun chuckled silently by his side. "Baby, stop scaring them. It's the first day of classes after vacation." His husband whispered which he answered with a scoff.

He knocked on Mr. Jo's office and when they heard him saying 'come in', Woohyun was the one who opened the door to let them in.

"Good Morning Sir." The couple bowed in front of the chairman.

They were both nervous. He also could feel Woohyun's apprehension. There was no way for them to know what the DC wanted. They just both silently wished that their marriage wasn't found out.

Mr. Jo smiled and acknowledged their greetings. "Good morning to you both. I called you two here because I was asked by the school principal to give you a last task before graduation."

Upon hearing what the chairman said, they frowned in confusion.

"We all know that the candidates for graduation will be announced after your class cards have been distributed. You, Sunggyu, are the valedictorian of the class and you, Woohyun, for some miracle, I don't know how you got the second honor." Sunggyu and Woohyun stared at the chairman in shock. "You two will be assigned to coordinate the repeat examinations for those students who failed their final exams." The chairman continued. Here is the list of the students who you two will watch."

Sunggyu reached for the paper that the chairman was handing them. Woohyun looked at the list and he released the breath he was holding when he saw that the names of his three friends weren't on it.

"Anyway, the repeat finals for them would be two days from now and the teachers cannot facilitate the examination. Because it will last all day, I expect that you both will do your jobs well. Anyone caught cheating would also affect you both. Your first honor and second honor title might be stripped from both of you." The chairman said smirking.

So that was the catch. The reason why the DC chairman was the one informing them was because it would still be some kind of punishment in the end. Moreover, the reason they were the ones who were tasked to do it was for them to strictly watch the students like a hawk or they would be dropped from the honor roll. Very cruel. They earned the ranking and yet, they had the audacity to threaten them to take away their title. Such an absurd and trashy school.

Woohyun and Sunggyu bid a respectful goodbye to the chairman even though they were both planning the chairman's murder in their minds.

When they closed the door, they looked at each other and smiled. They topped the class and for some reasons, Woohyun rose from his rank to top 2.

They linked their pinky fingers while they walked towards the exit and let go when they saw Woohyun's friends approaching.

"Why are the two of you together?" Sungyeol inquired. In the end, Sunggyu just left the four upset and let his husband deal with them.

It was nerve-racking for some students to wait for the list of students who would graduate. While Woohyun on the other hand was sitting serenely. However, his friends kept pacing in front of him and it wasn't helping him think of ways to convince his mother to let him and Sunggyu live in the university dorm together or in their own flat.

Woohyun really wanted to live with Sunggyu alone and sleep beside him. It had been a very long time since they were both able to do things together without a chaperone. As he recalled, the last time he and Sunggyu traveled together was when he took him to Nami Island to ask for the answer to his confession. That was more than a year ago. The last time they slept in the same bed that wasn’t in their house was when they were still best friends.

If he couldn’t come to SNU with Sunggyu, their option to live together was to use their own place which would be officially theirs by next week. But, his uptight mother had to give them the blessing. It would be easy for Sunggyu since he would be 20 years old by April.

Woohyun couldn’t help but sigh before looking again at the three idiots. “You three are making me dizzy. Stop pacing and you’ll see the list later.”

“Good for you. You knew you had passed. Heck! How did you even rise from rank 9 to rank 2 overall?” Myungsoo said exasperatedly.

He shrugged his shoulders at Myungsoo. As much as he wanted to celebrate being on the honor roll, he was also puzzled about how on earth he did that. All he thought was that he would fail one of his subjects. However, he also thanked the heavens for having his husband as his study buddy. It helped him a lot.

Then suddenly, Hoya asked, "Are you sure we aren't on the list of those who will repeat the finals?"

“Yes. You can even ask Sunggyu if you want. So, please stop walking in circles and you all are giving me headaches."

The three took their seats beside him. They were the only people in the room. It was lunch time and they decided to forgo food.

Sungyeol started expressing his thoughts. “Can’t believe we’ll be graduating in two weeks. I haven’t even enjoyed my last year here because of Hyun’s despicable condition.” They all laughed at Sungyeol’s comment. “I could even count on my one hand how many times I did prank this year and it was… one. Only one ing time.”

“You three are so dumb for betting on me. And you have to be thankful, you three passed your finals because I prevented all of you from doing something stupid.”

“Still couldn’t believe you tricked us.”

There was more to that trick than you knew. Woohyun thought with a sly smile on his face.

Come the end of the school day, students once again flocked to the bulletin board. Nerds were astonished to see Nam Woohyun’s name on the honor roll.

“How did Nam Woohyun do that?”

“He was ranked 9 last time.”

“Wow! He really turned a new leaf this year.”

“We knew he was smart but seeing his name below Kim Sunggyu’s was really surprising.”

“Did he cheat that’s why he was brought to DC office?”

Those were the murmurs Woohyun heard. He snorted in disbelief. It was incomprehensible to understand how others could think that he cheated when they took the test with only a pen on their desk and sat two seats away from their seatmates. The ! There was even a body check before they entered the classroom.

“Yah! You all.” The students swarming the board turned around when they heard Dongwoo’s voice. “Why are you gossiping about Woohyun being ranked 2? How will he cheat his way there when you all know how this school works during major exams?"

Most of the students skedaddled away when they saw the student council group sans the president. Woohyun smiled at Dongwoo as a sign of gratitude for speaking up for him.

“Welcome. And even though I want to kick your for cheating on Gyu, I still want to congratulate you.” Dongwoo patted his shoulders and walked with the others towards the exit. While Zico informed him that Sunggyu was waiting for him at the SC office before catching up with the others.

Immediately, he left his friends, telling them that he was meeting the president for the repeat examination plan.

When Woohyun entered the office, his husband was looking at the list of students and at the same time, writing something.

“Hi baby. Zi said you’re waiting for me?” He pressed a kiss on Sunggyu’s forehead quickly before sitting on the chair in front of his husband’s table.
