The ride home is quiet. Nobody uttered a word for the whole ride. 

Hindi rin sila kinulit nila Seulgi at Irene na kanina pa mga nakasimangot. Winter did not even look at her way. 

Nang makauwi sila, dumeretso sa kwarto si Karina. What have she done? Kissing her sworn enemy for life? Hindi lang isa, nakalima pa sila. 

They made out inside the comfort room after Winter teased the older of being too baduy. Then they shared a chaste kiss before going to the parking lot. 

Karina knew they would kiss if they are left alone. They both got addicted. She always prefers cherry than strawberry, but this time, she thinks strawberries might be her new favorite thing. Winter is lying on her bed, eyes staring at the stars on her ceiling. What good would kissing the girl who lives in front do to her? 

The two girls had difficulty sleeping that night. Their minds are full of thoughts. About the kiss, the date. They were even not sure how this enemy thing started. 

"Yu," napaangat ang tingin ni Karina. Nakita nya si Winter na nakatayo sa harap ng upuan nya. She raised a brow at the younger girl. 

"Kim." Maikling bati nya. Hindi sya nakatulog kagabi. Sobrang gulo ng isip nya. And the cause of her lack of sleep is standing in front of her. She noticed differetnt things about Winter today. She noticed how her neck tie is too loose, her blonde hair tucked neatly behind her ears, and her grin. Kailan pa naging cute ang ngiti ni Winter?

"We have to talk," seryosong sabi nito. She looked at her watch. Lunch time naman at lahat ng classmates nila ay nasa labas. Karina nodded her head. Umupo si Winter sa tabi nya at tumingin kay sakanya. 

"I want us to sign a truce. Hanggang matapos ang Quiz Bee," she said. Karina hummed as she traced her index finger on the desk. Why sign a contract for their truce? Hindi ba pwedeng iclose nila yung deal with their lips? Inilabas ni Winter ang medyo makapal na mga papel. She had two copies of those. Ang haba naman.

"Is that the only reason?" The older girl smirked. She sounds confident, and she is. She knew she isn't the only one who got hooked on kissing. Si Winter din. Aminin man nya o hindi. 

"What are you implying, Yu?" The younger girl asked with her brow raised.

"I don't know. Baka mamaya gusto mo lang ako ikiss." Winter blushed. She looked away and cleared . She did not confirm nor deny the allegations. Hindi na rin naman pinush ni Karina yung thoughts. 

"Napaka-kapal ng mukha mo!" Sabi nya. Her hands turned into fists. Karina chuckled to herself. She knew why she became this person's enemy or rival. Sobrang bilis kasing mapikon. And Karina just loves how annoyed Winter becomes.

"Aren't you cheating though? Hindi ba may kalandian ka sa kabilang section?" Umirap si Karina. She hates how perfect Somi is. Parang lahat ng wala sya, na kay Somi. Besides, hindi naman nya deserve maging kabit. Ang ganda ganda nya para maging number two lang. 

"Kalandian?" Nagtatakang tanong ni Winter. She tilted her head while thinking of the possible names that could come up in this conversation. Bakit hindi sya aware na may kalandian sya? Hindi nga sya nagkakacrush sa kabilang section. 

"Yep. You and Somi have been flirting since JHS, diba?" Winter's eyes widened. And after a few whiles, she bursts out laughing. She even tap the taller girl's shoulder a few times. Umiiling-iling pa siya. Si Somi lang pala ang nalilink sakanya.

"What?" Naiinis na tanong ni Karina. Pinalo nya ang braso ni Winter para patigilin sa pagtawa.

"Paano mo naman nasabi na kalandian ko yun?" Tanong ni Winter na halata namang nagpipigil lang ng tawa. Karina scoffed.

"Kalat na ang chismis na yun since last year. Besides, I saw you two eating ice cream the other day, diba?" Pag-eexplain ni Karina. Hindi nya rin alam bakit sya ang nag-eexplain, pero that's a question she rather not find any answers for now. 

"Alam mo Yu, for someone who is almost at the same level at me," Winter paused with a -eating grin. Napaka-kapal talaga ng mukha. Palitan lang naman sila ni Karina sa ranks. 

"I cannot believe you'll come up with that conclusion. You know, there are numerous possibilities of why we are that close." Mahabang sabi ni Winter. 

"Can you get straight to the point, Kim?" 

"What I am saying is, Somi wanted my help to score a date with Giselle." Karina wanted to disappear. To wake up and realize that this is just an embarrassing dream. 

"Ahh, okay." Tatayo na sana si Karina pero hinawakan ni Winter ang wrist nya. Karina looked at Winter who is smiling widely. 

"Ano?" She asked. Winter shrugged. 

"If I don't know you better, I'll think na you're jealous of Somi, vanilla." The younger said, obviously teasing the older girl. 

"Tangina mo, Kim. Bakit naman ako magseselos kay Somi?" Karina asked, fuming. 

"Baka kasi matagal mo na pala ako gusto." Mayabang na sabi ni Winter. Karina snorted.

"Ang yabang mo, Kim." Tumayo si Karina at lalabass na sana pero nagsalita si Winter na nakaupo pa rin sa tabi ng upuan ni Karina. 

"I would never kiss you if I have someone else, Karina. You deserve to know that."
