Napatingin si Chaewon kay Karina. 

"Why are you here?" She asked. Nakasakay sya sa limousine na nakapark sa tapat ng bahay nila. Hinihintay siguro niya si Winter.

"Can I hitch a ride?" Karina asked as she looked at Kim's Residence's gate. Chaewon smirked when she noticed the taller girl.

"Oh please, Karina. May crush ka ba sa kapatid ko?" Napatingin sakanya si Karina. Her face is blushing. 

"No! We're friends na kaya," sabi nya at nagcross arms. After a minute or two, lumabas sa gate si Winter at binuksan ang pinto ng limousine. 

"Oh? Karina, good morning." Nakangiting bati ni Winter. Karina smiled back.

"Good morning, Winter." Chaewon looked at the two weirdly. What the ? She wants to say something but seeing this exchange is very amusing.

"Did you sleep well last night?" Tanong ni Karina at iniabot ang isang sandwich kay Winter. She looked at Chaewon and throw another. 

"Wow, salamat ha?!" Sabi ni Chaewon at inirapan si Karina.

"I actually did. Ikaw ba?" Winter asked and took a bite of the sandwich.

"I slept fine. May sagot ka na ba pala sa Physics?"

"Why? Sorry pero hindi ako nagpapagaya," sabi ni Winter. Karina chuckled and shook her head.

"Gaga, no. Baka kasi nakalimutan mo. Anyway, do you want to review in my house later?" The younger looked at her and hummed. She shrugged. Wala namang mawawala kung magrereview sila together. They're friends. 

"Sure, why not? Pero the bet is still on, Karina." Sabi nya at ngumisi. Karina grinned.

"Good. Because I would kick your !" Nakatingin lang sakanila si Chaewon habaang tahimik na kumakain ng sandwich nya.

"Dadaanan ba natin si Minju?" Tanong ni Winter. She handed Karina a bottle of water while looking at her twin sister. Chaewon shook her head.

"She's not going to school," sabi nya. 

"Thanks for the ride pala," sabi ni Karina pagbaba nya sa limousine ng kambal.

"You could always go home with me, Yu." Sabi ni Winter. Chaewon snorted.

"You two are acting so weird right now! I can't take it anymore!" Sabi nya at naunang maglakad sa dalawa. 

Karina and Winter looked at each other before laughing. They do find this new relationship weird too. But they enjoy it. 

Hindi naman sila aware na maeenjoy nila ang company ng isa't isa. Pinagtitinginan sila ng mga tao na nadadaanan nila.

"Is it really unbelievable that we are friends?" Tanong ni Winter. Hawak nya ang mga libro ni Karina. The latter rests her arm on the girl's shoulder. 

"I mean we're basically rivals since we were kids. Hindi lang siguro sila sanay," the taller girl answered.

"But we're friends now, right?" 

"I say, we're friends AND rivals. Isn't it more exciting?" Tanong ni Karina. Pumasok sila sa classroom nila at umupo sa mga upuan nila. Winter gave Karina a peck before going back to her seat. Lumapit kay Karina si Lia at Yeji.

"What the heck is that?" Lia asked. They knew that their friends kiss each other behind their backs, but this, how? Why? 

"We're friends," natahimik sila Yeji at Lia sa sagot ni Karina. Yeji sat on the chair next to Karina. She bit her thumb.

"You're friends now? Since when? Bakit hindi namin alam?" Sunod-sunod na tanong ni Yeji. Karina rolled her eyes and took a glance at the younger girl. Like her, their other friends are asking Winter too many questions.

"Wait, wait. Pinakacurious ako sa bakit kayo nagkikiss kung friends lang kayo?" Tanong ni Lia. Karina looked at them with a raised brow.

"Hindi ba ganun?" Nagkatinginan silang tatlo. Akala naman nila matalino si Karina. Medyo gullible naman pala at tatanga-tanga sa ganitong usapin. 

"Do we kiss?" Tanong ni Yeji sakanya at itinuro pa ang sarili nya at si Karina.

"No. But I remembered y'all kissing our other friends," sabi ni Karina. Napakamot sa leeg si Lia.

"But it was a one time thing, Karina! Kayo ba ni Winter ilang beses?" 

"A few times, maybe. Why is it important?" Nakakunt-noong tanong nya. She really cannot understand her friends. Noong nakaraan lang ay mga umamin silang hinalikan ang iba nilang kaibigan, pero balit ang big deal noong sila na ni Winter ang gumawa? 

May double standards ba sa friend group nila?

"Look, Karina. Gosh. We kissed other people to fool around, at least in our case. Do you kiss Winter to fool around?" Yeji asked. Karina would never kiss someone to fool around. And that someone being Winter Kim.

"I would never!" She yelled quietly. She feels offended. 

"Edi why are you and Winter still kissing each other?" Nagtatakang tanong ni Lia. Required ba talaga sa mga magkakaibigan ang mga chismosa? Because why would every one in their group a Marites? Palagi pa silang nagchichismisan before first subject, at sa tuwing may free time. 

"Hindi ko alam kay Winter. Pero I want to kiss her, it feels good." Sabi ni Karina. Namumula na rin ang mukha nya hanggang tenga. Tumayo si Yeji at hinigit si Lia palayo kay Karina nang kaunti. They started whispering at each other. 

Karina heard them whispering about Karina, Winter, something about love, or crush.

"Ano ba pinagbubulungan nyo?" Naiinis na tanong ni Karina. Gosh, the day barely started and she's already tired. No thanks to her friends.

"Friends with Benefits ba kayo?"
