"Yes, thank you." Taking the box of cake, Seohyun bowed while smiling. She headed out and stepped into her car. She noticed her phone on the passenger received a message, which she casually checks.

 

Yul Oppa: Sunshine Cemetery in Chunghan.

 

Her lips curved into a small smile as she just put her phone aside and carefully drives her car again. She's only a few minutes away from her apartment. But she can't help and notice that there were people on the side of the street, checking their phones as if they received something interesting and they were smiling. 

 

As she reached her neighborhood, she slowed down. She checks her phone again to realize she received a notification from Yoong's Instagram account. "He finally posted one." She said as she carefully entered the parking lot in the apartment building. Once she successfully parked her park, she opened the notification and was surprised to see their wedding photoshoot. "So it's out." She smiled so brightly as she swipe to the left. They look so good together. Her heart is fluttering.

 

"Hmm." Thinking of the comment, she immediately types on it and sent the message.

 

seojuhyun: Ugh, so handsome 😍😍😍

 

She was about to leave the car when she once again received the notifications.

 

YoongHyusband: I have the prettiest wife 🥰

 

"Tsk." She chuckle and finally headed to the lift.

As soon as he heard the door was unlocked, Yoong hurriedly rushed to the door and meet with Seohyun halfway. "I knew it." He saw the box of cake and took it from her. 

 

"It's a celebration you know." Seohyun said as she followed him to the living room.

 

"Look at how bright you are." Jessica commented, getting up, and hugs the young singer briefly. "Congrats. The first episode was a hit. Everyone's talking about it." 

 

"And congrats to me for driving from the studio till here." Seohyun giggles. 

 

"Oh yeah, it's a double celebration." 

 

Yoong came out from the kitchen and put the cake and one bottle of champagne on the coffee table.

 

"Alright." Picking two glasses, Jessica handed the other to Seohyun. "Let's have a toast."

 

Yoong pour the champagne to both ladies' glasses and he received his champagne too from Seohyun.

 

"To more episodes with you guys." Jessica said and raise the glass.

 

"And to more driving for Seohyun." Said Yoong as well, flashing a big smile to both ladies. They made a toast and drinks their glasses.

 

"Thanks, Unnie, Thanks Yoong-ssi." Said Seohyun. The new content won't be a success without them. She's glad they have them.

 

"You know I don't mind whatever crazy idea you have." Jessica chuckled.

 

"Honored to be part of this team." Yoong also shared his thoughts.

 

"Let's eat this cake." Seohyun announced, taking her seat on the sofa, and grabs the knife to slice it.

 

Yoong left to the kitchen and Jessica waited for the cake. 

 

"You called Yul earlier?" She whispered to her. 

 

"Yup." Seohyun didn't hesitate to answer, handing her manager the slice of cake.

 

"What are you thinking?"

 

"Earlier... I was reminded by the accident again."

 

"Omo, I knew it will happen." Jessica half-whispered. "I'm glad there's no accident." 

 

"Here's the chicken and pasta." Announced Yoong as he returned to the two ladies. He set it on the coffee table and smiles at them. 

 

"Thanks, hubby." Seohyun sweetly smiled, handing the slice to him as well.

 

"I thought you will cook?" He was excited to get into her apartment just to see ordered foods instead of what she mentioned on the phone.

 

"She forgot she has a schedule in the afternoon, so I ordered it for her." Jessica explained on behalf of the young singer.

 

"Mianhe." Seohyun smiled sheepishly.

 

"It's okay. It doesn't matter." Yoong flashes a grin.

 

"Do you guys want to sing? It would be boring if we're just going to watch anime." Suggested Jessica who is never fond of it. She grabs the remote and switches it to karaoke.

 

"Even funnier." Yoong also prepared the mic and connected it to the speaker.

 

"Don't make me sing, Unnie." Seohyun immediately warned her manager. "I have another schedule for recording tomorrow."

 

"Glad you remember." Jessica giggles and took the mic from the doe-eyed. As the music started, she get up and dances randomly. "Invisible, push through the fog~" and sang the song. 

 

"Omo, aren't you a singer too, Miss Jung?" Yoong didn't expect to hear it.

 

Seohyun wasn't surprised at all that her manager has the voice too. Jessica once auditioned for an entertainment agency but did not make the cut. 

 

"I'm not really the manager, Yoong-ssi. It's Manager Seohyun." Jessica chuckled and resume dancing and singing to the song.

 

Seohyun scoffs and shakes her head. But she got surprised when the doe-eyed also joined her. "Yah!" She laughs, watching them dancing in sync. "You can dance now, Hubby?" She can't stop laughing because he knows how to do the wave, popping, and even robot dance. "You're so embarrassing!" She commented, cupping her cheeks. She didn't know he can do that. 

 

"Come on, join us." Yoong ushered as he offered his hand but she shook her head.

 

"I don't want to embarrass myself." She defended firmly. 

 

"I saw your dance on the internet. Come on." Yoong got her hands and forces her to stand up.

 

"That was just for stage performance. And there's a choreography." Seohyun shakes her head but Yoong and Jessica trapped her before she escaped. Both doing the robot dance close to her. "Yah, stop it." She laughs. 

 

"I thought you love to go to the club?"

 

"Indeed." Jessica nodded and wave her body near the young singer.

 

"Unnie, just sing." Seohyun said as she pushed her off. 

 

"And you dance." Yoong said without stopping from dancing.

 

When the music changes into club music, that's when Seohyun started moving her head. "Aish." Then without any more hesitation, she dances with the young doctor. 

 

"Hell Yeaaah!!!" Yoong shouted, moving his entire body vigorously. Seohyun can't help and laugh as she also moved with him.

 

Jessica on the side is doing her own thing, not minding how the two have forgotten about her. She loves to see them having fun.

"She's asleep."

 

"She is?"

 

"Yes." Yoong giggles, watching Jessica sleeping on the sofa with her tongue out. 

 

"She sleeps like Yul Oppa." Seohyun shared, amused with her own manager.

 

"Who is Yul to her?" Yoong got curious. He heard their conversation earlier.

 

"Her ex... And now best friend." Seohyun shared as she began to clean up the coffee table.

 

Yoong casually helps her. "Oh, that's so good for them. Not all remain friends." 

 

"Yeah, just like me and Taehyung." Chuckled Seohyun. She's now comfortable mentioning his name. 

 

"Speaking of him, I'm glad he is quite now after that article." Said Yoong, happy that the ex-boyfriend is not disturbing her anymore.

 

"I actually called him."

 

He widened his. "Chincha? What did you talk about with him?" 

 

"I told him to stop mentioning me to every interview." Seohyun nonchalantly replied.

 

"And then?" He's curious about Taehyung's response.

 

"In return, we will have a collaboration to my upcoming album." 

 

Yoong's heart felt like it was pierced. "You guys will sing a new song together?" And he's unknowingly worried. 

 

"Yup. The song was composed by him." Seohyun flashes a bright smile. 

 

"Are you... Excited?"

 

"Hmm, quiet? Omo, don't worry, it's just a song. We are not getting back." She noticed the change of expression from the doe-eyed and immediately she assured him. "Not a million years I'm going to do that." She ended it and get up, bringing the dirty plates to the sink.

 

Yoong sighs and he followed. He placed the glasses next to the plates as well. "What song is it?" He remains curious about their collaboration. 

 

"I have no idea yet." Seohyun replied simply as she began to wash the dishes. "And I think this will bring some buzz again to the fans." 

 

Yoong scoffs. He looked at her in disbelief, then returned to the living room. He finds himself imagining their interactions. Since she broke down, she never cried anymore. He's concerned at the same time jealous.

 

'It's just a song, Yoong. It's not really that important. But he wrote the song. I'm sure it's for her. And he might sway her.' He sighs and pouts. 'Ugh, why am I even thinking like this? Tsk. You have no right to be jealous, Im Yoong.'

 

"Aren't you going to help me?" Seohyun yelled from the kitchen. She didn't notice his frown when he left and just thought it would be fun to wash the dishes together. 

 

Yoong got up and returned to the kitchen. 

 

"What's wrong?" Seohyun can see his pout. "You're not in the mood to wash these?"

 

"Seohyun-ah." Reaching for her right hand that has soap bubbles, Yoong holds her gently without unlocking their intent gazes.

 

"Hmm?" Seohyun raised her eyebrows.

 

"Do... Do you still like him?" Ask Yoong softly. His heartbeat raced. 'It's now or never.' It's only been a week since they knew each other but he can't resist liking, her. He just really eat his words when he told his Auntie and Sunny he won't fall for her. But it's hard when he always sees her and he gets to know her well. 

 

Seohyun smiled as she shakes her head. "I'm still mad at him but that doesn't mean I still like him. I stopped doing that since I saw the video. There's nothing left for him, to be honest." She softly says. Her heart flutters with the way he is holding her hand. And she anticipates what will he say more.

 

"Okay." Yoong nodded, letting go of her. He decided to not go further. 

 

"What?" Seohyun is dumbfounded. "I thought you're going to say more." She chuckled.

 

Yoong rubs his nape. "Um let me help you." He then grabs one of the plates and washes it with her. He flashes a sweet smile and she does as well.

 

"I like you though." Mumbled Seohyun that stopped the doe-eyed from washing the plates. She tilt her head to look at him and smiled in amusement. "You're easy to like, you know." She added as she returned to the plates. She giddily smiled to her own. 

 

Yoong blinks his eyes in a fast manner. His cheeks heat up but he still manages to continue to help her with the dishes. His heart is beating fast in a good way. He glanced at her quietly and smiled giddily. 

 

"You haven't shared about your family." Seohyun reminded softly, glancing at him.

 

"My parents are living abroad. We are not that close so I can't share about them." 

 

"Oh, no wonder." Mumbled her as she took the glasses to the cabinet. 

 

Yoong followed to put the plates as well after wiping them. "When are you guys recording it?" He asks unconsciously.

 

"If there are no changes, in two days." Said Seohyun as she rubs her wet hands.

 

"2 days... That means on Sunday." 

 

"Yup." She flashed him a bright smile, walking back to the living room.

 

Yoong casually followed. "I don't have work that day. Do you want me to drive for you?" He doesn't know but he wanted to be there by her side.

 

"Chincha? Sure." Seohyun got excited. "But it's Sunday, did your schedule got changed?" She walks inside her bedroom and takes her seat in front of the piano.

 

"Yes. Our CS department has enough surgeons now that's why they adjust mine." Yoong informed as he took the empty space next to her. "We can have more time together." He flashes a sweet smile but her attention was on the piano keys. She didn't respond to him and spaced out instead. 

 

"Should I..." Seohyun paused and stares back at him after a couple of seconds. His gazes are beautiful and warm once again which made her smile. "I have... A song in mind recently... But couldn't finish it yet." 

 

"Hmm? What are the lyrics?" Ask Yoong softly.

 

Seohyun returned her attention to the keys and runs her fingers there as she sings it, "Always knew you even when I didn't know you. Don't make sense but I do." 

 

Yoong's heart skipped a beat as he got goosebumps after hearing it.

 

Seohyun looked at him back and smiles sweetly. "What do you think?"

 

Speechless, Yoong put his hand on her cheek without unlocking their intent gazes. He can feel his heart racing as seconds pass. Then he slowly leans into her face. 

 

Seohyun sighs, feeling his hot breath against her face when he stops inches away. "I'm asking for your reaction to the lyrics." Whispered her, as her eyes keeps glancing to his lips then focused on his eyes. 

 

"I like you, Seohyun-ah." Said Yoong huskily. "I tried myself so hard to not fall for you but... Every time I see you... I just couldn't help it." He further confessed. "You always make me so happy. It's something I haven't felt for years." He holds her with his hands this time. He can't any longer hold his feelings for long. A week is enough to confirm his feelings. 

 

Seohyun love what she's hearing. She wanted to confess first but he beats him.

 

"This isn't for a show anymore."
