"It's not really like that, since you'll stay here for a few more days and then go back to your sisters. What I'm proposing is to stay with us every day, you know the empty room next to Nana's? We can make it yours until we decide to move into a bigger house"

They had no problem carrying on any kind of conversation, even the most uncomfortable, and they had come to speak bitterly of the Yoo parents' stubbornness.
