don't dream it's over
all my starsA/N: It seems like I forgot to mention in the previous chapter that Yongsun has gone back to work in the prison! I feel that it's only right that Yongsun returned there as a psychologist, given how well she is with the women and how Hyejin mentioned that the door is always open for her if she wants to come back :)
There's a battle ahead
Many battles are lost
But you'll never see the end of the road
While you're travelling with me
“I am so glad you are coming with me, unnie.” Byulyi sighed. Sitting on the edge of Yongsun’s bed, while the older woman was busy picking out a casual outfit.
Byulyi’s dad, Eric, had made a reservation at their family’s favorite restaurant and wanted Byulyi to join them. He insisted that they have a meal together and that he was sorry he hadn’t visited her since she was released.
It wasn’t a big deal to Byulyi not having a meal together, because she knew her mom was embarrassed of her.
She’d rather be on her own than to face her mom who would only put her down and remind her of the fact that she’s an ex-convict, always will be one.
But she decided to go anyway, for her dad who had been there for her whenever she needed someone.
Deciding that she couldn’t face her parents all alone, given that she hasn’t spoken to them in awhile, Byulyi insisted that Yongsun join them.
Yongsun didn’t like the idea at first, because it’s their family time but she also knew how fragile Byulyi is, she needed someone who knows her well emotionally to support her.
So despite being an outsider, Yongsun agreed.
“You’ll be fine, baby.” Yongsun ruffled Byulyi’s hair.
“You make me feel like a child when you do that.” Byulyi scrunched up her nose, as if she doesn’t like it when Yongsun does affectionate gestures like that.
“That’s because you are one.”
Byulyi faked a gasp, “How dare you.”
Byulyi got up from the bed and tickled Yongsun, making the older woman release a series of high pitched dolphin sounds.
When they’re both tired from screaming and laughing, they laid on the bed for a little.
Byulyi let Yongsun use her arm as a pillow and Yongsun nuzzled Byulyi’s neck in a way that always makes the younger woman’s heart race.
“You’ll be alright, Byul. You just need to know that I love you no matter what.”
Byulyi nodded against Yongsun’s head, “I know.”

Once they arrived at the restaurant, the waiter recognises Byulyi and brought them to their table that was tucked in the corner of the restaurant, of course, to give them some privacy.
“It’s been quite a few years, Miss Moon. It’s good to see you again.” The waiter made small talks while walking towards their table.
Byulyi nodded and smiled. It seemed like he didn’t know where she went.
“Here’s your table. Enjoy the
