Chapter 2 : clumsy

the clumsy nerd’s pov

I sighed as I continue to walk away from the court…

but it seems so strange…

it’s very quiet .. normally after the practice … the students will cheer for HER .. much louder..than when the practice game was going on …

uhmm.. nevermind..

i was about to go upstairs when I saw the students whispering with each other..

they were looking at me .. while having a smirked on their faces …

oh, no here we go again… I mumbled

so I take a step backwards

I had enough today…I can’t bear it anymore

I might just collapse somewhere..

as I slowly step my right foot backwards …

I felt something… it’s a banana peel

“ahhhh” I screamed
“ouch” I fell

I tried to stand up but I can’t..
I’m too exhausted and my feet was in pain…

I felt my tears running down on my cheeks
I cried while others just surround me.. no one seems to care…
they were just looking at me.. saying something ..

but I can’t understand my head was spinning…
their faces were blurred … the tears were still running down..
before my vision goes black…I saw a familiar figure approaching me…


“help me.. please” I mumbled as I was fully eaten by the darkness

the sunset wakes me up… it was still too bright
I opened my eyes…
as I scanned the place .. it’s familiar..

Surrounded by trees.. flowers… and there’s a bench

I saw someone sitting on the bench .. a young girl…

she was too focused on what she was doing ..

I stand up to approach her
but I tripped again and make a noise..

she seems to notice it.. so she look up …
her face…

i----i---it’s HER
she saved me .. I thought

as she continue staring at me…

she started to laugh….
so I pouted..

“yah!! you should help me.. stop laughing” I complained

she stopped laughing but she was still smiling…
“sigh… such a clumsy girl” she said

she held out a hand …she was helping me to stand up..

then we sat on the bench

we watch the sunset while we’re holding hands
I rested my head on her shoulders

we always wish to have this kind of place
just me and her ..

“I’m not going to let you go… no, not again” I said

then she turned and looked at me
 she was still smiling

“just don’t fall again… it hurts me seeing you in pain” she said
“mianheyo” I whispered

the sunset was soon to be over..
then it rains suddenly

I loosened my grip on her .. as I tried to look for my umbrella inside my bag

then I turned at her

“tae… taeyeon-ah… tae-tae”
her image were slowly washed away by the raindrops…

I tried to hold her hand.. and kissed her

but it’s too late.. I’m already kissing the rain…she’s already gone
nowhere to be found.. I’m all alone..

her expression was still the same.. when the last time we hold each other like that..
she’s still in pain.. it’s my fault.. i let her be by herself

 I continued to call her name
“tae-tae… t-tae-yeon-ah” but still no response

as the sun completely disappeared from my sight..
I’m in complete darkness again…
crying by myself .. with no one by my side


I felt some water on my face
the tears didn’t stop from running down..
a nightmare that wasn’t supposed to happen

I tried to open my eyes…
someone was back facing me..

it was so familiar .. I tried to reach her but my hands can’t move
I’m struggling.. then she turned around .. it’s still blurred…

she held my hand
“shh… don’t move.. just sleep again” she mumbled

as she put her hand on my forehead.. and slowly went down to close my eyes

I can’t see that person clearly so I gave up…
my eyes went close again..

I opened my eyes and saw sooyoung slapping me
so I immediately hold her hand

“omo.. fany.. your awake..hey, guys she’s awake” sooyoung exclaimed  

I saw my friends… so it means they save me..

but what about the back facing figure earlier…
I didn’t even catch a glimpse of her…

my friends were talking to me but I can’t understand
I’m still weak.. I need to take a rest..

i don’t know but it feels so good….even it’s just a dream or hallucination ..

still she was right there by my side..

--third person’s pov

little did tiffany know someone was watching them…

with a worried and mixed with guilt on her face..

but her eyes were only fixed at the weak girl who’s lying on the bed

she smiled

“at least she’s safe” with that she turned her head and started to walk away ..
