Chapter 23 : clumsy <3


My Best Friend


jessica’s pov

----flashback-----

a while ago I’ve a got a call from a hospital
the nurse informed me that fany was there
I thought fany was already home since she disappeared suddenly

idiot fany! I said it’s not good for her going outside when it’s raining
still stubborn as ever.
but how a taxi cab driver found fany
did fany go somewhere?
I quickly shook my head
this is not the right time to think about it 
your best friend is in the hospital

I grab any of my clothes and then change as fast as I can
I pack some of my shirts in case fany needed to be confined
I quickly dialed yuri’s number

”yoboseyo” I hear her says
”yuri-ah, fany’s in the hospital” I said softly my tears are started to form
a minute waiting for her response
”wha-what?” she said
”yuri can you come with me?” I asked
”bye I really need to go okay let’s just meet each other at the seoul gen. hospital” with that I hung up and I wiped my tears on my cheeks

kkabyul still buffering !!

I decided to get a cab since I know yuri will bring her car
when I was already in front of the hospital
yuri wasn’t still there
so I decided to go in first

sigh.. she’s so slow

then suddenly someone grab my wrist
I turned around

”yul” this time I hugged her and cried on her shoulders
”yul, what will happen to fany?” I manage to ask even my voice is slightly trembling
”shh.. sica don’t cry.. everything’s going to be fine, okay?” yuri said as she my hair and patted my back as we pulled away from our hug

we immediately go to the counter and find fany’s room
and luckily the doctor calls out for tiffany’s relatives
so I quickly go towards the doctor as I said that I’m fany’s best friend
and the doctor guided us to a different room

Yuri’s pov

I don’t know but I felt something strange
like someone was eyeing us
I mean when we got here in the hospital
there’s someone who suddenly stood up
and what makes me worried ?
she’s somewhat like familiar

then she was walking with her head hung low
okay, I don’t really complain about how people walks but
let’s say It was just really strange
I eyed that woman
but then I felt sica tugging my shirt as she trying to get my attention

”yuri-ah the doctors calling us” sica said as she grab me and I finally drop my gaze and let sica pull me

Jessica’s pov

the doctor lead us inside a room
he then offered us a seat

and I decided to ask “uhmm sir where is fany?”

”she’s sending into a private room so don’t worry and I’m here to ask you question?” the doctor paused for a while as he grab something from his drawer

both yuri and I listen to him carefully

I don’t know but I felt regretting for what I did. I just wanted tiff to be happy but this is what happened to her. My face become pale as the doctor continues to read the result.

afterwards we come out from the room
I quickly rushed to fany’s room

my vision is starting to get blurred my tears are threaten to fall
I took a deep breathe before I twisted the doorknob and open it slowly
just to see my friend lying peacefully
I silently cried as I leaned on yuri

”tell me yul, this is not happening right?” I mumbled
as I tightened my embrace to her
”yuri” I started to punch her chest lightly
”tell me yuri this isn’t happening right?” I continued to cry

as yuri was still silent.. not believing what had happened

i tightened my grip on her hand

”tell me yuri-ah we just did the right thing.. it’s for tiff right?” I asked again
as I cried even more

not believing what the doctor told us     

no this is not happening!! I tried to convince myself as reality always hits me..
my tears didn’t stop as yuri continued to comfort me..

and as the night passed on we watched the person who’s lying on the bed silently.
