chapter 20 : it’s raining

tiffany’s pov

I heard taeyeon said “ omo, it’s raining”

” I don’t have umbrella” she whispered to the air
I sighed silently and instantly shook my head..
silly kid .. she didn’t even change.. she’s keeps on forgetting about her umbrella.
I already told her almost 10,000 times to bring umbrella every day just in case it will rain.. she never listen !!

at least I always bring my pink umbrella with me

”don’t worry taeyeon-ssi…” then she glared at me . haha forgetful mushroom sorry
”I mean t-tae-yeonnie I have an umbrella. Uh I guess we can share..” I said
”uh-uh y-yeah s-s-share” she said while stuttering
eh why stuttering ?? so I decided to look up and check her
she’s holding her head and silently groaning in pain
”t-taeyeonnie wh-what’s happening??” oh my gosh please no.. don’t .. we’re just starting over again.. no, please not now..
”something just flashbacks in my mind.. uh.. never mind it’s nothing I’m okay” she said with a reassuring smile “uh.. arasso” I said “aa.. taeyeonnie.. can you lean on the wall first.. I’m just going to get my umbrella inside my bag..” I said
”oh okay.” Then i slowly positioned her so that she can lean on the wall for support
so I immediately look for my umbrella… the rain was starting to get heavy.. 
I better hurry up or we both get sick..
I don’t wanna end up catching cold..
gotcha.. hoo.. sighed of relief..
I open the umbrella and let taeyeon hold on me..
the umbrella I guess is too small for us..

and I think taeyeon noticed.. that I my uniform is getting wet.
”I think fany-ah we need to move closer on each other” taeyeon said as she scooted closer on me.. gosh.. I’m going to die.. she’s so close.. it was like we’re hugging in the rain..
that’s sweet..
then reality started to hit me… taeyeon’s also getting wet.. because she moved closer to me..
so I said “ taeyeonnie.. it’s okay no need to move closer .. you’re just going to get wet..”
”uhh. But—“ I immediately cut her by saying this “ no buts okay.. just listen to me it’s not good for your condition.. cold is nothing compared to injury” oh no.. did I say that? Cold.. aisshh.. I hate it when I’m sick.. but for taeyeon .. it’s okay .. fany hwaiting!!

”uhh okay” she said as she looked down..
”uhmm fany-ah.. my house were at that corner so we need to turn left” she said
”oh.. sorry..” I said ..
aishh.. we’re both soaked wet.. yeah..  thanks to my umbrella..
”no it’s okay.. of course you don’t know it” anniyo no  taeyeon -ah I know it .. I still know it ..

so we continued to walk.. we stopped for a while in a waiting shed ..

it’s not the far from taeyeon’s house but you need to turn left  first then walk straight again… when you see the biggest mansion .. it’s the kim family’s house or rather village..
well, it’s too big .. when you appeared at the front gate you need to pass the security.. of course it includes your identity..
and that what I’m afraid of.. my identity .. I can’t go to their house .. I can’t .. it’s not that I can’t but I must not .. and not now..

I leaned on the metal pole.. brain I need you right now.. please think…

”uhh.. tiffany let’s get going .. you can stay at our house..you know.. the rain was kinda.. heavy and a strong one”
oh no..

”uhmm- you don’t need to let me stay at your home you know .. I can take a cab.. I’m sure I will get.. even with this kind of weather… it’s too early anyway 4pm not that late” I said. I silently prayed she’s going to buy my reason I mean excuse..

”uhh.. but you’ll going to catch cold.. maybe you can get any coffee or tea.. at least before going home too your house..”

taeyeon-ah.. please don’t let me enter your house..
I don’t what you to know who I am really? Not this time…
we just started to get along again.. please..

”taeyeonnie. I mean you know I’m just okay.. I’m fine I don’t need coffee or anything” I said.. I swear I didn’t mean to sound harsh.. it’s just..

”uhh okay. Sorry fany-ah” oh look, what I have done .. I mentally scolded myself..
”errmm.  Sorry I didn’t mean to sound harsh or annoyed okay.. I’m mean I don’t want to be a burden on your  part.. I caused you injury ..   it’s enough.. but thank you that you’re worrying about me. and believe me I’m fine..” I said sincerely
I blushed a little .. because of that –worrying- part in my sentence..

I gulped because she’s not replying
so I looked up and saw her grin I mean smirk

 then she lightly patted my head
”of course… you’re a  new friend of mine” she said
”err.. let’s go now”
I just nod and assisted her.. as I let her hold on me for support
I smiled but immediately looked down.. not wanting taeyeon to notice that I’m enjoying this moment.. we walked together through the rain.. again
I couldn’t help my self smiling like an idiot..
I really missed those moments so much.. I guess waiting for almost 4 years is worthy enough.. to be back with taeyeon again

but my smile is slowly turning into frown every step we made as I can see their mansion from here.. we’re near.. and this will going to end right away..


50 steps away from taeyeon’s house.. my sweat began to form..

taeyeon's pov

you don't want to go inside our house, huh?

you're afraid ? well, you deserves it anyway..

but i can't look at tiffany   for a long time

there's just always a flashback everytime i look at her

it's a little girl's voice
"tae-tae i told you bring your umbrella always ! but you don't listen" 
 "tae-tae how many times i told you, you're not alone.. i'm with you, okaY? i'm not going to leave you"
it keeps on repeating
i wanted to smash my face on the wall so badly..
but it won't stop either

arghh.. i silently groaned
and look at tiffany intensely..

tsk, such a liar
