Chapter 37 :

Falling
 

Tiffany and taeyeon had been constantly seeing each other ever since their kissing moment. They have been dating for almost 2 weeks. Always having lunch then heading home together, tiffany was so happy that everything has been going smoothly. She thought that her prayers had come true; having taeyeon by her side again was the most wonderful thing she had in life. And there’s nothing she could ask for more, everything was pretty quite good. Even they were taking it slow, she was still glad that at least taeyeon was trying to court her and the fact that the latter had already been in her heart.

Today was no different; tiffany was in the library reading books as she waits for taeyeon because the older girl had notified her this morning that they will see each other. Tiffany looked at the wall clock across her and noticed that she had been there for 20 minutes and the figure she wanted to see is still nowhere to be found.

Why is she late? This is so unlikely her, she had never been late when she asks me out.. wait.. don’t tell me something had happened to her? Oh!.. please no..

tiffany suddenly gulped as her thoughts played in her head, what if something bad happened to taeyeon? Got into another accident again? She looked at her surroundings hesitantly as she was having a not so good feeling about today oh please let her be safe.  She closed her eyes while silently praying and hoping taeyeon will not encounter any troubles this day. She stood up and returned the book on the shelf; she couldn’t stop thinking about taeyeon. She can’t help but to feel worried, she sighed and pouted. She then felt someone behind her moving closely towards her, but decided to ignore it as she looked at the clock again, this is not good, she’s still wasn’t here.. oh n--

“AHHHHHHHH!!!!!” Tiffany screamed as she felt a pair of cold hands covering her eyes, she was about to fight back and elbowed the stranger on his stomach when she heard him say a thing

“sheesh… fany-ah.. why so loud?” she can feel the stranger’s breath on her skin, she shuddered. Then, that when she recognized who it was, the stranger was no other than the person she had been waiting for, it’s her taetae.

She felt taeyeon removing her hands from her eyes then she turned back at her and suddenly hug her. Taeyeon was about to laugh but the hug stopped her from doing so “yah! Why are you so late?! Don’t you know how worried I am!! I thought something bad happ--” She then cut off when taeyeon put a finger on her lips.

“shhh.. I’m here okay, nothing bad happened, I’m all good. I just need to rush something; I didn’t mean to be late. Sorry for making you worried..”

“hmmmph.. you better be!” she raised her voice once again while she crossed her arms. Taeyeon grin a little at the sight of sulking tiffany.

“fany-ah.. err—you do realize we’re in a library?” taeyeon’s comment made tiffany loosen up

Tiffany looked around again and feel her cheeks boiling in embarrassment as she saw everyone’s eyes on her and taeyeon. And silently looked down hiding her red cheeks and then slowly took a step forward and bowed down while apologizing. Taeyeon followed the embarrassed girl out of the silent room with a wide smile on her face; she hadn’t exactly expected tiffany to be this all cute in the morning.

“Fany-ah, you can lift your head up now.”

Tiffany then turned to face her and glared “this all your fault! It’s because of you.. geez! That was so embarrassing” she whined and stomped her foot twice and walk towards taeyeon

the scary gaze made taeyeon swallowed an imaginary lump on .

“You better make it up to me now!” she pulled the scared taeyeon by her collar and whispered it to her ear making the other girl shivered.

“Y-yeah…” she stuttered nervously

“Good, so where to now?” tiffany beamed happily

what the-! Just a moment ago she’s super scary and now she’s all happy and whatsoever, what kind of mood swing does she have? Seriously? She stared at tiffany for a minute, looking all curious and amused on how the latter is behaving, she noticed the other girl had been so obviously happy when they were out on a date.

“taeyeonie? Hello earth to kim taeyeon!” she waved her hands in front of taeyeon hoping the latter would come to her senses again.

“u-uhm, yeah? What is it?” taeyeon asked

“I’m asking you where we will go now? It’s your plan remember?” tiffany tilted her head and eyed taeyeon suspiciously

“why are you looking at me like that?” she felt her blood rising up on her cheeks as she couldn’t help but to notice tiffany’s cuteness.

“What’s with you today? Do you have fever?” she brought the back of her hand on Taeyeon’s forehead, checking the latter’s body temperature. Then frown when there was nothing wrong about the latter’s condition “you don’t have a fever anyway, but why are you acting so weird today?”

taeyeon can’t utter any word on how she found tiffany’s gorgeousness increasing every day.  She had felt her little hate disappearing as she spent her morning and night with tiffany. At first she thought that was just nothing and everything is going accordingly on what she had planned. But also found out she was being too attached with tiffany, now she was torn between continuing this act for her revenge or just set it aside and have her feelings be real even for once.

“taeyeonie?” tiffany called the spacing taeyeon once again wait, is she hanging out with jessi lately to become the next spacing out princess? She then shook taeyeon a little.

Taeyeon snap out of her thoughts and met tiffany’s worried gaze. She melted under the look and touch as she found tiffany’s hands on her shoulder. “uh-uh I’m good” she answered randomly

Tiffany sighed in relief as she heard taeyeon speak. “please don’t go all silent, you’re making me worried again, okay? I’d better have your lame pranks and jokes than a spacing out version of you.. and please do tell me, if something’s bothering you?” Tiffany knows that they were not official but she wanted taeyeon to know that she’ll always be there.

“yeah.. I’m sorry again”

“so can we continue our date now?” tiffany asked cheerfully

“of course anything you want to princess” taeyeon reached out for tiffany’s hand, something she wished she’ll do forever.

“taeyeonie, do you think it’s good on me?” tiffany asked the girl intensely looking at a magazine, she frowned when the older girl wasn’t looking up, so she snatches the magazine away.

“h-hey!” taeyeon met the y hot looking tiffany wearing a black v-neck dress revealing her milky white collarbone and a little of her cleavage that made taeyeon’s jaw drop and almost drool. That’s effin’ y and hot! Dammit! She’s beyond damn pretty gorgeous. She then blushed as she felt tiffany looking at her and slightly bent down at her level that made taeyeon’s eyes widen. Damn her chest! Argh!! Stop being a byuntae.

“yah! what’s this! You’re looking at these y models in the magazine while you’re with me.. sheesh.. I shouldn’t have asked you to come with me to choose a dress for the prom! I think I’ll call jihae since he texted me last night.” Tiffany mumbled the last part and started to rummage her bag to get her cell phone. “yobosey--

“what do you think are you doing? why are you going to call that arrogant monkey?! I’m your date!” taeyeon snatched the phone from tiffany.

“yah! give it back to me! Yes, you’re my date! But you’re not even listening to me and help me choose
 a dress!” tiffany flipped her hair angrily and crossed her arms; she found taeyeon less amusing as minutes passed by.

Does she really have to do that?! I don’t think I can stop my hormones if she continue doing this.. too y and dangerous really. I really need to stop this before I lose control. “sigh, you know what we’ve been here for almost an hour and honestly, all the dress you had tried, suits you all, you look fabulous in any dress you wear okay, so I think you can have any of that.  And now please can you delete that chimpanzee’s number on your phone, right I’ll do that for you!”

“fine! if you say so, I’ll just have this one then and hey! Don’t delete his number!” tiffany pouted still angry at the dense taeyeon it’s not even about the dress and jihae seriously! How can she be so dense? When she’s practically drooling over those y freaking models on the magazine, hmmph..!! I need to have a y dress to be able to take those midget’s eyes off the other girls!

“we’re here” taeyeon said as she unbuckled her seatbelt and reached for tiffany’s bag “let’s go”

tiffany silently went out of the car and wait for taeyeon to lock the car safely.

“tell me what kind of food do you want to taste today?” taeyeon asked as tiffany intertwined the hands with one another

“anything warm would be fine, I guess” tiffany the shook a bit as she felt the cold air humming towards their direction again

“sigh, what do you love so much about wearing sleeveless clothes during winter? Do you want to get sick?” taeyeon shook her head a little and took off her jacket and drape it on tiffany’s shoulder.

“I wouldn’t mind getting sick actually” tiffany said that made taeyeon look at her like are you high or something

“because I have you to take care of me” tiffany’s eyes twinkle with happiness as she tighten her hold on taeyeon’s hand.

“who said I’m willing to take care of a brat like you?” taeyeon then

tiffany shoved her aside “you wouldn’t dare rejecting a limited offer of Miss tiffany hwang, I’m pretty hard to get, you know”

“wow, not less than a month and you became too confident, tsk.. arrogant brat”

“at least I don’t brag everyday how great I am unlike a certain little someone” she replied and stick her tongue out

“geez…  can you stop using height jokes?”

“but you started it!”

“who says the one claiming she was pretty hard to get”

“…”

“see??  You’re at fault” taeyeon smirked

tiffany was still pouting and pulled her off of taeyeon’s “then don’t come near me”

“yah! I’m just kidding” taeyeon followed the sulking tiffany

tiffany took a seat immediately not caring if taeyeon was across her

“sigh, fine. I’ll be happy if you get sick because I’ll have you alone, okay..  There I’ve said it.. Please don’t be angry anymore…” taeyeon put the best puppy eyes she could managed to do.

“okay, you know that’s too cute.. so you’re forgiven” she pinched her cheek and she couldn’t help but to feel  overwhelmed hearing taeyeon’s statement  I’ll have her alone.

The lunch had been so warm like summer when it was winter but the two of them made it special and magical for one another. They knew they were both genuinely happy even though there are uncertainty and hesitation on the older girl’s part. Should I continue having a revenge or not?

Should I forgive her that easily?

Should I love her for real now?

Did I just fall on tiffany hwang’s trap once again?
