Chapter 29 :

WEIRD (part 2)

Taeyeon’s pov

”eh?” that’s the only word came out from my mouth
as I stared at her with wide eyes and jaw dropped

”tae-tae let’s go now!!” she said as she tried to pull my hand and brought me inside

although there’s so many people she managed to make a way for the both of us
I kept on apologizing to those people she I mean we unknowingly bumped

I don’t know what makes her like this

excitement or nervousness?

she stopped to fall in line
I tired to tiptoe since you know I’m not that tall
I can’t see what kind of ride she chose

I heard someone chuckled
I looked at her
”hey, what are we doing here and what’s funny?” I asked and eyed her intensely

”silly, cause we’re going to ride roller coaster isn’t that exciting tae-tae.. and oh I’m laughing because I can see your height again.. haha.. merong” she said and laughed wholeheartedly together with her hands as she claps endlessly I pouted and turned away

she seems to notice it so she tried to hold my arm but I yanked it away to add dramatic effect of course.

I can see in the corner of my eyes that a small smile was still linger in her pink lips

”tae-tae sorry okay… please don’t be mad” she pleaded and took my right hand and interlaced it with her other hand. Her fingers perfectly filled the spaces between my fingers. They look perfectly fit together. Sigh How I wish it to be me and her literally..

And yet I unknowingly smile as I look at our intertwined hands. But I’m not going to let this slip easily

”tsk.. it’s not like you’re really tall and plus if it weren’t my height you won’t look that tall either” I said still pouting

”sigh. You big baby. Sorry I was just kidding even though you’re height really anyway..” she said as she mumbled the last part, silently chuckling but I still managed to hear everything

it’s my turn to slap her still looking away

”okay..okay I get it.. sorry tae-tae.. miyoungie won’t tease you again.. please talk to me” she pleaded

I glanced at her before finally turning around to face her

”okay then but you still need to do one thing later.. then after that Apology accepted” I said in demanding tone

she raised her eyebrow giving me a questioning look “uhmm.. sounds a bad idea huh? What are you up to?” she asked

”uhmm let’s see.. but for now.. do what you want” I said smiling and tightened my grip on hers and run through the crowd

I can tell she’s already smiling like an idiot. But then she suddenly pulled her hand away from my grip

”I thought you let me do what I want.. then I must be the one who’s leading not you” she said and carefully interlaced our fingers with one another

I was in a pure bliss as I feel her warmth on my palm. And what can I do I let her grab me right now, I don’t care where she’s heading me to all I want is just to savor this moment.

I was still in dazed when an angelic voice snaps me from my own thoughts

”huh?” is all I managed to say

she pouted suddenly “you’re not even listening, are you tae-tae?”

”eh? What did you say?”  I actually I’m not really listening

”see? I’m right sigh.. I said if it’s okay for you to ride roller coaster”  

”uhh.. of course.. wait WHAT?! ROLLER COASTER?!” I unconsciously exclaimed louder than it should be

I stared at her with wide eyes

”tae-tae.. we’re in public and FYI  I’m not deaf.. ouch” she said as she rubbed her ear

”oops sorry.. sorry” I apologized and bowed to everyone who got startled by my sudden outburst.

”hey, sorry.. if it’s too loud” I said and gently reached out for her ear then rubbed it slowly

afterwards I saw miyoung remain unmoved actually frozen at the same spot
until I felt someone was already pushing us to come forward. But because miyoung’s not moving I was stuck and struggling between the two forces.

I tried to move miyoungie a bit forward. I could see other people in front of us was now moving forward continuously making a small place to breath in. not like a while ago it’s to crowded.

”miyoung-ah! move” I said to her

”uhh?” she finally respond and notice the line was moving smoothly now.
so she goes along

until it’s our turn
I could feel her uneasiness
I totally forgot what I’m going to ask her a while ago

”hey, you okay? I mean I know you don’t like this kind of rides.. come , we could just ride bumped cars it’s okay with me.. ” I said with a concerned tone
     
”uhmm.. I’m okay.. I’m fine.. I wanted this right... I wanted to try roller coaster” she said confidently but I managed to see and hear her gulped

”don’t force yourself please.. if you’re really afraid--” but I got cut off

when it’s our turn to take a sit on the moving machine and before I could protest miyoungie’s already sitting

to be honest ever since were kids she kept on saying “I don’t like roller coaster I’m afraid” and one time we were on a field trip inside a carnival because I like this kind of rides i asked one of my classmates to go with me. I didn’t bother to ask stephanie
but you know what happened, it’s really ridiculous miyoungie made the whole carnival stopped from operating this kind of rides except for the bumped cars. Ferris wheel and carousel. My jaw dropped as I saw her taking a large amount from her wallet

after a few minutes I felt someone’s warmth holding my hand tightly this snaps me back to reality

I looked at the girl beside me who’s already closing her eyes even the whole crazy ride isn’t starting yet

I chuckled silently at the sight

trying to be brave, huh ?

as soon as the staffs announced that it will start
I squeezed her hand back in return
and that made her open her eyes and looked at me
I gave her a reassuring smile and whispered

”don’t worry I’m here” then go back to my previous position

right after that the roller coaster moved so fast

I can’t say I don’t like what’s happening right now
seeing miyoungie hugging my arms tightly
and her making cute expression along with this crazy ride

I don’t know why but my heart was rapidly pumping out of my chest
I placed my hand to feel it

even though how many times I deny it
it’s not because of the roller coaster but because a certain person was right here beside me.

After the whole ride
I watched her trying to regain her breath

”that was *pant* so fast tae-tae” she said still panting

”that’s what I wanted to tell you. But you won’t listen anyway” I said firmly
still trying to calm my heart

she then hold my hand again and guided me towards the bumped cars

”tae-tae let’s play” she exclaimed and I let her drag me inside

”now sit there.” she commanded and I just followed her

I sat in the blue small car while she’s still talking to the staff
I guess she’s looking for a pink one

I chuckled

”hey, pink freak! Just get anything I’m still gonna knock you off” I shouted at her trying to save those staffs from miyoungie’s sweet begging technique

”yah! Don’t call me pink FREAK! You silly blue! I’m a pink LOVER not a freak! And who told you I’m going to let you knock me off! Just wait and see! You’re going home losing your two front teeth with a black eye!” she exclaimed really loud

I guess calling her a pink FREAK isn’t a good idea after all    

uh-oh  I mumbled as I felt someone bumped the back of my car hardly

I turned around to see a red miyoungie with steaming head and her eyes flaring with so much anger is looking at me

I gulped so hard

oh no !
