chapter 16: a new day (part 2)

the three of us walked in silence
well, we’re still pretty shocked of course

I don’t know I felt so nervous and tense.. I think it’s natural..
whoo.. I need to breath if not I’m going to throw up

I leaned on the wall first.
my heart was going to explode
it was like pumping out of my chest..

I’m really sweaty .. and my breathing become unstable..
I’m a bit shaky

jess and soo was just staring at me..

sica walked towards me immediately ..
as she noticed I’m having a hard time in breathing

“fany-ah” jessi said in a worried tone
“it’s okay” I gave her a reassuring smile

sooyoung was wearing a confused look
so I shook my head and I mouthed -nothing-

So after a few minutes
we started to walk again

sooyoung suddenly spoke out
“ermm.. did you find it weird ?”
“huh?” jessi and I said in unison as we turned to soo
“I mean you know.. since freshmen we have good grades so why now??” she asked
but jessi and I were still confuse
“eh what why now?” jessi asked
“err.. why they are accelerating us now.. I mean they didn’t even care about our grades before.. you know.. uhhmm.. if they were really monitoring our grades why they didn’t inform us that they’ll going to do this.. so why now??”
I started to get what sooyoung is trying to tell us
I mean she really have a point.. she’s right somehow..  
uhmm.. I started to think of it.. yeah why now??
“uh.. soo I’m sorry but you know.. it’s still the principal’s decision anyway” I said
“ ok I know but I’m just trying to point something out.. it was just like so sudden” she paused as she tried to think again “uh.. never mind..i don’t know.. but I’m just really shocked..” she said as she’s waiting for our response
yeah..  because starting from now sunny is going to be our classmate 

I looked at jessi … I guess she’s thinking the same.. we both smiled
“uhmm.. maybe.. but i think you’re just hungry”
“hey, I’m not ! okay.. I eat almost 5 bowls of rice this morning so I’m sure I’m not hungry and ”
she paused for a while to look at us “and I don’t like that kind of smile you two have"
Jessie just rolled her eyes and I just shrugged it off

so we resumed on walking
well, in every step we made ..
my heart beat’s were increasing..
we’re near to tae-tae’s classroom..
oh gosh.. my body were starting to tense up again
I can feel my cheeks…no, not just my cheeks but my whole face.. was kinda boiling up
I mean I can imagine my face so red ..
I need to cool down immediately
whoo.. I wish it’s not red anymore

I can see taeyeon’s classroom from here..
fany relax.. don’t be so nervous.. come on…

I took a deep breath and most likely jessi and soo did the same..
I think the three of us we’re so nervous..

plus sunny, taeyeon and yuri will be shocked too I guess…

oh no, we’re here !!
we knocked and  peaked at the door..
jessi on the top I’m in the middle and of course sooyoung is below me..
we kinda almost fell ..
oh gosh the other students turned to look at us
and the teacher seems to notice it too..

“oh I think.. the accelerated students we’re here now”
the teacher said as she opened the door completely
“come in guys it’s okay.. don’t be shy”
we walked in while we keep on looking at the floor..
“so uhmmm why don’t you introduce yourself in front of the class.. since from now on you’ll going to be with them..” the teacher said
jessi and soo began to elbow me
I turned to them
they were both mouthing –you go first—

While glaring coldly at me..
they’re so scary ..
so I kinda stepped forward immediately
“uh..” I gulped before continuing as I pushed my eyeglasses at the middle using my forefinger
“uhmm.. goodmorning everyone I’m tiffany hwang from 2^nd year section” I said as I bowed
“please take care of me.. “ I tried to beam an eye smile well, obviously they can’t see it though..
because of my eyeglasses .. but still did that
while Jessica and sooyoung was introducing themselves..
I can see sunny and yuri’s priceless expression ..
I tried to search for that someone but I sighed afterwards..
it’s seems that she’s absent .. maybe because of her foot..
after the brief introduction ..
we sat on the vacant seat of course…

I sat in the last row..
I like in backseats I don’t know but it’s peaceful I think
cause look at the person beside me..

that person was sleeping ..
haha... I think I make the right choice sitting at the back..
I chuckled .. “yeah so peaceful ..” I mumbled as I took a glance to my seatmate

who seems really enjoying being at the back..

I smiled.. as I thought ‘tae-tae can’t be like that.. she’s too diligent to sleep at school hours’
but my smile turned into frown .. ‘she’s not here’ I sighed heavily afterwards
 as I started to listen and pay attention to my teacher’s discussion

then suddenly the seatmate of mine .. was moving and groaning... no, more like crying
it was like she’s having a nightmare..

I stopped writing and put my pen down

as I noticed her right hand were going to drop
so I kinda held it

as I felt electricity flows in my body
I guess that seatmate of mine also felt it
because she kinda shouted “ahhhh”

I was still frozen ..
I looked down at our hands…
gosh what’s that

then when I lifted my head
I’m able to face my seatmate..

as I tried to explain
my eyes went big and my jaw dropped
i even forgot the words i'm going to say..

“YOU” we both said in unison
as we pointed to each other using our free hand
