Chapter 5 : clumsy

meet the rider

a loud

*BANG*

I didn’t even blink
but when it goes nearer and nearer
I was dazzled by the light … coming from the motorcycle

I can’t control my eyes..
it still shuts anyway.. 
my eyes went fully closed as I’m waiting to lose my consciousness
and knocked to ground

BUT-----

nothing happened…
I decided to open my eyes …

my eyes went bigger than before

is this real ??

I’m –i-am--- s—t—ill a-a-l—live ??

I was shocked..
I look at myself
no wounds nor blood or any scratch

I was still in shocked
my brain isn’t functioning properly

the students screaming…
snaps me back to reality
I saw the students running towards the corner

so I turned around
as I carefully observe and
the things that I’ve seen are still processed in my brain

then the reality hits me..
as I saw a person lying down
and the motorcycle was completely ruined or rather I say.. it’s broken
I can’t believe what I’m seeing

that person put his own life in danger .
I watch that person struggling ..
he was trying to stand up
and he was still wearing the helmet
so I can’t see that person’s face

the students help him to stand up..
and I was still there standing..

I saw him approaching me
then I jumped a little

suddenly

he taps my shoulder
even his wearing a helmet
I can see his eyes.. his worried

”Are you okay?? Are you hurt somewhere” a soft angelic voice asked
still no response from me
I can’t say any thing ..
I tired to.. but no words were coming out..
it was like I lost my voice

”hey, answer me.. are you o-okay miss??”

I stared blankly…
as my vision started to blurry
and the next thing I know..

I was in the dark again..
not knowing what will happen next



the rider’s pov

aish.. I’m late..

I need to hurry up
as I started to speed up my motorbike

I need to get there as soon as possible …
my speed was so fast

I don’t know but suddenly
I saw a lady crossing the road
I started to panicked
the breaks were not working properly

the lady just stood there…
I shouted at her
but I think she doesn’t hear

she was still in shocked
I don’t have any choice but to..

turn my motorcycle to the left
so that the lady wouldn’t get hit

as the students were running away form my sight
I collided against the wall..
as I fell to the ground… 
my left foot was being sandwiched by the motorbike and the floor

i was in pain..
as I felt the pain ..

a certain part of my past hit me..

I was in love with a certain girl..
and we’re supposed to be out for a date..
I mean a friendly date..
this day I’ll confess

we’re just still kids or young
I just wanted her to know at least

I wore a blue checkered polo..
and pair it with my jeans..

I was on my way to her school ..
I’m going to fetch her..

my phone suddenly rang

from : cutie

taeyeonie <3 please wait for me a little longer
our teacher was lecturing us again.. uh.. not not lecturing
more like nagging.. argh…. I really miss you ..
see you later.. be careful on your way… take care :* 

she texted me to wait a little longer
because her terror teacher was nagging at them .. again

she called me by taeyeonie so it means .. I really need to wait for too long..
I chuckled as imagined her pouting.. cute ..
so I replied .. 

to : cutie<3
okay.. as you wish my princess.. no need to call me taeyeonie ..
hahha.. I kinda know you too well
so see you later .. I miss you too.. bye :D

It’s been 30 minutes I assumed she will be here
at any moment

then I saw a flower shop
on the opposite side ..

I decided to buy one
when I was going to cross the road
I saw her waving at me
so I smiled

then she gestured –I’m going to you, no need to cross the road again-
so I stayed there wait for her

she started to cross the road with a big smile on her face..
I didn’t took my eyes off her.. as she walk..

she suddenly bent down..
she was picking up some thing

then I saw a vehicle towards her direction
my eyes went big..
I didn’t know what I’m goin’ to do

I seemed to be black out for a moment
as I ran towards her and pushed her away…
far enough
to not get hit by the car..

and as a result to that…
I’m the one who get hit ..

she suddenly ran towards my side
as I lift my hand to caress her face
I felt her tears running down

”shh.. d-don’t c-cry.. y-you kn-no-w I-i don’t li-like it” i said while trying to breath
my breath was getting heavy … I can’t breath properly .. I need air
”tae.. please hold on” her voice was shaking
”please some one help us..please” I hear her shouted
 I hold her hand as tight as I could
”i—i- t-old you s-st-top cry-crying.. pp-p-lease” I tried to kiss her
but I suddenly felt pain .. I can’t move
”tae.. tae-ah… yah ! taeyoenie.. tae..” she cried
I felt my body was going to collapsed at any moment
so before it happens “sarangheyo” I whispered through the air
I don’t know if she was able to hear it..

that was the last thing I know .. as I loosened my grip on her
and fell unconscious…
 
the pain that I felt before.. was here again
i’m already had enough of it…
I can’t lose again..
I lifted my hand and push the motor off of me..
I’m trying to stand up
as the students go to my side and help me..

when I’m on my feet again
the first thing in my mind was to look for the girl
who nearly got hit

I saw her still standing at the spot..
she seems still in shocked

I walked towards her as the students making a way for me
I didn’t even bother to take off my helmet
I just wanted to make sure she’s alright

I put my hands on her shoulder
she jumped a little…
she must be surprised by the sudden touch

I started to asked her if she was okay
but she just stared at me blankly

she’s not responding ..
until she just collapsed
