Taehyung tossed his phone on the table and scoffed in disbelief. He can’t believe the text message he just received.
Taehyung, I left some herbal medicines to Sooha. It’s good for your health and your stamina. Make sure to take it every day! I can’t wait for my grandchildren!
He glared at his phone and sighed before grabbing it to send a “thank you” message to his mother in law.
He then remembered his conversation with Hoseok about helping Sooha in her hotel. He pondered a lot after their conversation and he realized that Hoseok made a good point.
He opened his computer to check Daisy Hotel’s stock market and compared it to other hotels. He noticed that Daisy Hotel is still lower than the Sky Hotel, but the gap is close enough between the two hotels. He then checked some updates on the hotel and read some articles.
“Daisy Hotel still can’t claim the crown it previously owned because of Sky Hotel”
“Why does the Sky Hotel continue to soar?”
“Was the marriage between Kim Taehyung and Park Sooha didn’t do anything good for their businesses?”
Taehyung scoffed and closed the articles. He can’t believe how the media are still interested in them. His phone suddenly rang, and he looked at who was calling him.
Mom
Taehyung answered the call. “Hello?”
“Taehyung! How are you?” her mom asked in a suspiciously cheerful voice.
“I’m fine. Why did you call?” Taehyung rubbed his forehead, getting ready for what his mom will say this time.
“I am wondering if you and Sooha can stop by at our house tonight for dinner?”
Taehyung is not in the mood for a family dinner, but he knows that he can’t say no to his mother, or else she will turn into a dramatic person. And he doesn’t want that to happen.
Again.
“Sure,” Taehyung said in a monotone.
Sooha looked in awe as she stared at the European style mansion in front of her. Her parents’ mansion was nothing compared to this and even though she’s been to any other mansions, Taehyung's family estate can almost be compared to Buckingham Palace.
As soon as they stepped inside, they were greeted by Cho Heeyoung who immediately hugged Sooha tightly, and made Taehyung roll his eyes.
“We literally just saw each other last week.” As soon as Taehyung said that, his mother smacked his shoulder and glared at him.
“Last week! If I didn’t call you, I don’t know when you will visit us again!” Heeyoung turned her head to Sooha who was looking uncomfortable between the mother and son.
“Anyway, isn’t this your first time at our house? Why don’t I show you around?” and with that Heeyoung clung her arms with Sooha and walked away from Taehyung.
He could only sigh and walk slowly behind the two ladies.
Taehyung walks slowly on the quiet long hallway that leads to the backyard. It’s been a long time since the last time he visited his parents’ house. He usually makes excuses to avoid visiting this house, and that made his parents - mostly his mother get upset.
When he finally reached the backyard, he stopped and stood at the open entrance. He analyzed the surroundings and he concluded that nothing changed besides some newly planted flowers that surrounded the whole area. He suddenly felt a strangely familiar feeling that almost made his whole body feel goosebumps, he clenched his fist tightly and closed his eyes before opening it again for a split second and lightly shook his head wanting to forget it.
“How’s your relationship with my son?” Heeyoung asked Sooha as she dragged her around the mansion.
Sooha put on a fake smile and said, “we are doing good as always, mother.”
“That’s great! Your mother told me this morning that she gave you some supplements. I was thinking about that too, but she beat me.” Heeyoung said and laughed. “But why did you decline the clinic appointment? That would have been a great help.”
Sooha wanted to sigh. “We don’t need it, mother. As Taehyung and I said last week, we are still in discussion about having a child. We just want the best for our future child.” Sooha almost cringed on what she just said, but managed to smile at Heeyoung.
She and Heeyoung continued to tour around the mansion until they stopped at a double door at the far end of the second floor. Before grabbing the knob, Heeyoung looked at Sooha and smiled.
“This used to be his playroom. This room was very special to all of us.” Heeyoung opened the door, and Sooha almost dropped her jaw in shock.
Heeyoung was smiling as she stared at the vibrant room. Almost everything was still in there, and not even a single dust can be seen.
“I’m surprised that you still keep this room after many years,” Sooha said as she explored the room.
Heeyoung let out a laugh. “My husband and I argued a lot when he told me that he was planning on tearing this down. I just can’t let that happen. I want to remain this intact so that I can reminisce our lovely time back then-”
Sooha didn’t hear the remaining sentence of Heeyoung as she went further into the room, and stopped walking when she saw a glimpse of picture frames on a slightly opened shelf that is almost hidden in the room. She examined the pictures but she raised her eyebrows as she saw the pictures. She was about to hold one of the frames when she heard Heeyoung coming closer.
“So what do you think of this room-”
“Who are they?” Sooha asked as she pointed at one picture frame and turned around to see Heeyoung who stood frozen with her eyes widened.

Who do you think Sooha saw on the picture frame?
