There are days where time seems like it is passing by so slow that what happens in 5 minutes seem to be happening over the span of eternity. Every breath exhaled seems to have been inhaled forever ago. The pain in ones chest while watching the hands of the clock move at a pace that hurts the mind. He had to stand back as he watched the nurses and doctors tend to the love of his life whose body seems to only go downhill. He clasped his hands tightly and prayed to whichever god that would listen to him to help her pull through. 

He stepped forward as the doctor put his stethoscope around his neck and straightened up holding a solemn expression that did nothing to but the ache in his chest at ease. It was the second time they had to use shock to revive her, screaming numbers that only flew through his head. 

"You said she was going to be fine. You said she was going to wake up." 

The doctor nodded and stepped forward. 

"There are always complications that occur. She is stable for now and if her stats continue being this rate then there is a high chance she will wake up. She just needs to pull through the night." 

It felt as though knives were plunged through his stomach over and over again. He fell back on the chair and cradled his head in his hands letting out tears. He took a deep breath reminding himself that he had to stay strong for her sake. And that him crying would do nothing to help Yuna through this.

Kai sighed as he hung up. Baekhyun had called to update him about Yuna's situation. There was no way he could tell Hana this but he knew he could not keep it from her. After having dinner she settled herself in the couch, letting Kai know that she wanted to watch a movie instead of going to bed. She was snuggled next to Lucas as they both watched Rush Hour 2 letting out series of laughter one scene after the other. Kai scowled but immediately sorted himself out before sitting on the couch next to Hana.
