The day of the concert came and you checked the stage and the audience if everything was set and according to plan. You were a little late in schedule but you could manage with the time left. 

After checking the MCs, you walked towards the dressing room of the boys and excused Lay and Chanyeol. "Are both of you alright?" you checked on them since they would be playing instruments for the performance today.

Lay then ruffled your hair and told you, "Yes, yes, mada'am, we're alright. Don't push yourself too much. Just go inside your room and wait for your performance."

"But I had to check everything so our efforts won't go to waste." You wanted to do your best in managing the concert proper since you were tasked to do that. The seniors were practicing you on how to handle the concert proper since you'd be handling it on the next semester.

Soon, the first performance was called onto the stage. The first years were featured in the prod and they all did well. Though, you took note of the others who made a mistake to make sure they'd do well in the next concert.

Naeun could see that you were taking notes and she shook her head at you. She went up to you and told you, "Hey, take it easy. You don't really need to note them one by one. You could just teach them in general, I'm sure they'd listen." And there you realized that you were really tense right then.

You gave her an apologetic smile and agreed with her. She then put her hand on your shoulder and made you sit inside the dressing room. Jisoo then suggested, "Hey, why don't we go camping or something like that after the prelim week?"

"You mean, like an outing?" Naeun exclaimed, "That sounds fun!" that made you excited too but you told them that you might have to work.

Then Jisoo told you, "Then we'll tell Senior Junmyeon that you'd take a day off."

"And Senior Junmyeon is included in the outing too!" Naeun reminded you and that made you a little less worried. Naeun patted your head, "Don't be stressed too much, you're really working hard, Jieun. You should rest, at least."

Naeun and Jisoo took note of the bags under your eyes even with the make-up on and they couldn't help but to feel worried about you. Although, you couldn't really feel that you're tired at all, but you did feel tensed today because you're expecting a good show.

Soon after, the performance which Kyungsoo and Jisoo composed was called. The girls immediately ran to the backstage to watch them since they knew that the couple composed it. You bumped onto Hyeran who was confused at what was going on. You told her, "Let's go, it's Kyungsoo and Jisoo who composed the next performance." And Hyeran's eyes shined in glee when she heard that.

You met Kyungsoo who was also backstage and you were surprised that he was not the one singing. Kyungsoo told you, "Ah, it's because I have another 5 performances." You nodded because you all have equally 5 performances for each concert.

( Baby You Are )

Junmyeon sang the first line of the song, "I fell in love at first sight. Wait, I lost my mind for a moment. – Why do you have to remember today?" then you looked at Kyungsoo and asked if he really did fell in love at first sight at Jisoo because you knew that the answer was no. then Jisoo laughed when she heard you ask Kyungsoo about that and then you realized that it was Jisoo who liked Kyungsoo first. Psh, lucky Kyungsoo.

Then Chen and Baekhyun started singing in a style new to you, you felt like flowing with the melody they're singing, "Even the fragrant scent was perfect, I can't stop myself – Your hair is too pretty for me, I can't hide this feeling." You nodded your head at the beat and at the lyrics Kyungsoo, this time, wrote for Jisoo.

"Baby you are - The only one I've been looking for is you, Yeah you are. – All day long, you think I'm going crazy – Baby you are." You looked at the couple and laughed because only Jisoo was dancing to the song while Kyungsoo was just stiff and moving his head to the music. You saw how polar opposites they could be.

Then Baekhyun went to the center stage and the audience started screaming, "Oh, Baekhyun's really popular." You exclaimed and they all agreed with you.

"Look! I can't say it's not for you – I'm the only one, I'm sure of you – The reason why I can't give you up." And you were surprised when Jongdae harmonized with Baekhyun at the last line, that gave you goosebumps.

Then Junmyeon sang the pre-chorus part and you could remember the story of Kyungsoo and Jisoo with the lyrics, "Open your heart to me who can make you the happiest. You can't help it anymore." Then your brother sang which surprised you for you knew that he didn't sing that much in performances. So you mocked him backstage while he glared at you, but had that smile on his face, "I feel it in you non-verbal way and your eyes, I can't hide my excitement."

And they repeated the chorus with Chanyeol and Jongin harmonizing. Junmyeon, Baekhyun, and Jongdae sang the pre-bridge part, "Oh I let you get the best of me – Didn't my heart reach you? – Yeah you are."

Sehun started to rap and once again, the girls went wild, you laughed and mocked Luhan because Sehun played with the girls in the audience for show. "The feeling of love, eventually I conclude with you – Falling for no reason is a lie - I can tell you all night, look at my eyes." But he looked at Luhan as he went back to the stage with the guys.

Chanyeol then switched with Sehun, "Perfect style of perfection – Moments in your eyes, intuition oh god! – It's strange to me, something new – I feel like everything is changing." And the chorus part played again and the guys dispersed in every part of the stage. You could see that they already were familiar with it.

"They look like professionals!" Hyeran exclaimed since it was the first time seeing them perform. You agreed with her and told her that this performance was nothing yet compared when they would be dancing. Hyeran anticipated more of their performances.

Dongmin's group had performed first and after that, the guys in your group went back to the stage and Hyeran asked you, "Is this it, will they be dancing here?"

You smiled at her because she was like a little child and you remembered what Baekhyun told you about her. You told him, "Well, some of them will dance but this is not the main performance yet." Then you told Naeun to watch and told her that the performance was for her.

Then before the performance started, Jongin pulled you in the stage and said, "Dance with me, I'm feeling all chummy." Your eyes popped out when you heard your brother. You shook your head but he said, "You choreographed this with me so let's go. It's just the intro." And you couldn't argue more since you're on stage already.

Kyungsoo, Baekhyun, Chanyeol, Sehun, and Jongdae were surprised when they saw you on stage. You just smiled at them and waited for the performance to start.

( My Lady )

"She's my baby - " You were surprised when Kyungsoo started the song while you and Jongin danced. Many girls screamed at the top of their lungs, hearing his voice with you and Jongin's movements. And that too, made your heart skip a beat. You never knew that your brother and Kyungsoo could snap like that.

You looked at Naeun and Jisoo and saw Jisoo hitting Naeun so you bet that they were enjoying the performance. Then you went on the opposite side of Jongin and danced, mirroring him.

"- at the end of those pale fingertips, there's melted chocolate – You're walking into my door!" Kyungsoo looked at you and smiled because he could see your passion in dancing. Chanyeol and Junmyeon were surprised at you because you danced just like Jongin. I guess they're really twins.

Then you both went in front of the stage and continued dancing after the beat dropped. "Show me more of yourself to me (Don't lie) – If you are honest with me (It's gonna be easy) – A sweet harmony that couldn't be felt before – Don't be too late." With your brother's passion in dancing, you danced with his flow. You could see your brother's expression and you matched that well, you always did. And the others saw that in your expressions too.

Naeun and Jisoo never expected you to snap like that, too, so their eyes were especially locked in you, too, especially Jisoo. The introduction had finished and you walked out the stage and the girls went up to you and told you how good you were. You smiled at them sheepishly because you were not that ready since Jongin just pulled you out.

Jongin should pay me. Your hands were still shaking because of nervousness and how hard you danced on stage. It was really a spur of the moment. Then you noticed Hyeran staring at you. You could see that her eyes were glistening, "You're really good, Senior!" she complimented you and you thanked her.

And the song soon started with Baekhyun singing his lines. You took in Baekhyun's sweet voice after Kyungsoo's powerful voice. "She's my lady – Into your dazzling lips, I will completely fall – I'm running into your heart!"

Junmyeon then sang the chorus' high parts. "Not as a friend – I want to be a man to you – Not just any person – But the only person who will protect you – Not as a friend – Starting from the first moment that I saw you – I'm not just saying this – Lady, it's only you."

Sehun once again rapped the first part with Chanyeol on the second part. "It's scattered on top of the table, messily spilled – My shaken and clumsy love confession – Are you ready for you love? – Your eyes are more beautiful and more stealable than a diamond – In there, I want to only dream of you."

Junmyeon and Baekhyun sang the bridge part with their free-flowing voices. "Don't pretend that you don't know – Lift your head and look at me – Don't avoid my eyes – I can't give up on you." And Kyungsoo continued it with his raspy voice. "Come a bit closer (Don't stop) – When I hold you (Everything's alright) – The flowing melody, seemingly tickling my ear – Don't be too late"

With that, you remembered the choregraphy you made with your brother for this last repeat of chorus. It was your idea for the fangirls but it still required a mirror and you thought that it wasn't that appropriate to perform it in school.

The performance ended and Chanyeol and Junmyeon immediately went to you and praised how you danced. "Yah, why are you only praising her? I danced too, right?" Jongin whined since he didn't get that same praise as they did to you.

Chanyeol cut Jongin off, "We always see you dance to it in our practices and you always dance like that." You laughed at what Chanyeol said and Sehun agreed and said while wiping his sweat on forehead, "And you only need Naeun's praises, not ours."

Everybody laughed at what Sehun said and you gave them thanks. The group dispersed and went to change their clothes and get ready for the next performance.

Then Baekhyun checked the flow and then asked you, "Hey Jieun, what's with the next performance? The audio is not yet with the sound system team."

Then you told Baekhyun not to worry. "Oh that's right I haven't told you. That's the acoustic performance." Baekhyun's eyebrows twitched, "What? I didn't know about this!"

Then you told him to relax, "Don't be nervous, just sing it like the audio version, with just some adlibs and harmonization, I know you can do it."

You smiled at him and were about to go inside the girls' dressing room when he asked you again, "Is this the one you composed, too?"

And you became embarrassed because, "Yes, that's all me." Although he didn't know that it was for him but if you told him that you composed that, He will know my feelings. And it was embarrassing for you. You couldn't tell Baekhyun that he'd be singing that song you dedicated for him.

Chanyeol and Lay then brought their guitars on stage and you watched at the backstage with the two girls. Your hands were sweaty and you kept on wetting your lips because you were too nervous. The girls noticed it and they told you to calm down. "It's the first song I dedicated to Baekhyun. I'm not really sure if he'll know it."

"Baekhyun's not that dense." Naeun smiled at you and patted your back. Then Jisoo told you, ruining your slightly relaxed state, "Unlike you~" you cursed her and she just put out a tongue at you.

Chanyeol and Lay started to play fingerstyle of the song and Jisoo and Naeun looked at you, "You taught them that?!" you shook your head and told them that Lay and Chanyeol just really studied the song that's why they were able to produce that sound.

You looked at Baekhyun who was the first person to sing. He hummed and you knew that he could make the song beautiful. "Everyday I look for you but I just comeback for you." You smiled as Baekhyun sang and thought of how you were doing lately, that you always look for him.

Jongin then started singing and swaying with the music. "After meeting you like this, I started to go hang out around you." You noticed how comfortable Jongin was on stage with the sound of music. You also swayed with it and thought of how the lyrics described your friendship with Baekhyun back then.

"I won't be able to come back if I turn that handle, I'm curious about the world." Chanyeol sang and you smiled because in the studio version, Chanyeol rapped that part. He's really versatile.

"The moment the door opens, a different place from the world I knew is before me." Baekhyun sang and you hoped that he could remember how he told you that change was also good and you just had to embrace it.

Junmyeon then sang his line while mimicking the action of the lyrics, "You rise and set, you bloom and wither, you are so warm." You emphasized how you were growing, and how Baekhyun already grew, although there were a lot of changes in Baekhyun's personality, his warmth was still there.

"Every place my feet touch resembles you exactly – I want to live here every single day – Let me live here, all day, by your side." Kyungsoo sang the pre-chorus part and you smiled at the thought that those were the words you wanted to say to Kyungsoo before. But now, it's for Baekhyun.

Jongdae were smiling as he sang, "It doesn't feel real yet – Why isn't this a dream?" You recalled the things that happened to you with Baekhyun the last week. That made you laugh because you had already written the lyrics even before it happened.

Minseok then sang the next part, "You wouldn't know, you probably don't know about my feelings for you – Love, love, love." The two girls then poked your side, hearing those lyrics. They were eyeing you and you laughed at their reactions, also feeling embarrassed as you accepted what you're feeling.

Tao sang the next part while Kyungsoo harmonized with him, "'Cause you're my earth, air, water, fire (You're my) – Earth, air, water, fire" And the whole group sang, "Me looking at you looking at me looking at you looking at me." you were smiling at those times everytime you and Baekhyun's eyes would meet and immediately turn away when caught. You sighed in daydream.

"Look into your eyes, butter-butterflies – The endless sky swims in your eyes" Chanyeol and Minseok sang the second verse and you couldn't get your mind off of Baekhyun's eyes always looking at you, before.

I hope your eyes will shine when you look at me again. You wished even for the future, "Only you can shine on me, I can see the future - You made me be born again – born again~" your brother, Lay, and Jongdae sang the next parts.

And you smiled when you heard Baekhyun's attack on the song, "The moment I met you, the world I used to know became boring – Looking at the same place, crying and laughing together – You're so like, like, like this." Kyungsoo sang the half of that part and you felt that the girls were looking at you once again. They just swayed with the music and you joined them too.

Junmyeon and Kyungsoo then sang the chorus part respectively. But you were surprised when Baekhyun sang an adlib in the instrumental part, "All I want is you and me." your heart jumped and that made you stop with your movements. Naeun and Jisoo then looked at you blushing and staring at the stage.

They looked at Baekhyun who was just looking at the audience and swaying with the music too. They observed him for a second and they saw him bite his lips and then looked at you.

Naeun and Jisoo screamed and pushed you in kilig. And you couldn't help but smile sheepishly, too. Then Baekhyun sang some adlibs while the others sang the chorus. But you could see the smile on his lips singing those. "Looking at you looking at me (At me) – Me looking at you looking at me (At me) – Me looking at you looking at me looking at you looking at me." And Baekhyun once again looked at you, being mischievous on stage and smiled at you. And you could remember how he smiled at you the first time he dedicated a song for you.

Junmyeon saw Baekhyun looking at you so he looked at you too while he sang his parts and greeted you, "Now I don't ever want to go somewhere if you're not there – Now without you, it's nothing – Take away the exit – Now I have nothing more to want – Stay with me." Chanyeol, Tao, and Jongdae sang their respective lines.

Your feeling was so elated that you felt so light and everything you could positively feel, you felt that when Baekhyun sang, "The moment I cross the line, I can't go back – No, actually I don't want to go back."

Lay then sang with that dimple on his cheek, "I don't even want to imagine a world without you love, love, love." And you thought that you really didn't want to go back anymore now that he's smiling at you once again.

"It doesn't feel real yet, why isn't this a dream? I can't believe it either, are you really human? – It's such a relief that I got to know you and love you – Love, love, love" Jongdae and Kyungsoo sang the last chorus and you never felt so happy than before, ever since this whole thing began.

"'Cause you're my earth, air, water, fire." The last line of the song was sung and the two girls mocked you, smiling and feeling happy for what you're experiencing right now.

The performance finished and they went backstage. Naeun and Jisoo were getting all chummy and mischievous pushing you towards Baekhyun, but you were stronger than them so you're able to stop that. "You should talk to him, Jieun. All I want is you and meee~" Jisoo sang and teased you. You laughed at her and told her to stop because you were getting embarrassed at what they're doing. And because she did that, Kyungsoo and Jongin noticed what was going on especially when Baekhyun walked up to you. "Jieun." He called.

And there Jisoo pushed you again which made you stumble towards Baekhyun. You held onto Baekhyun and immediately arranged yourself up and apologized. Jongin then mocked you, "Good thing you're a girl now!" and you cursed your brother for ruining the moment more.

You and Baekhyun went outside the gymnasium to talk to each other. You couldn't see Baekhyun that much because it was late in the evening already. But that just made you more aware of your surroundings and of Baekhyun. "Jieun." He called once again and you prepared your heart for it.

Your whole body felt hot and your hands were starting to get sweaty but before Baekhyun could say what he wanted to say, you told him. "I'll explain, Baekhyun!" and Baekhyun was confused at what you said.

He started to feel cold all over his body, thinking that he was not reading everything right. But when he saw your blushing face and little body, he quietly listened to you. "I feel like I have to explain everything to you."

You bit your lips and started explaining what happened that night. "W-when you confessed the last time... I'm really sorry. I want to tell you this the last time but I was shaking too much and afraid because I hurt you."

"I sometimes ask myself, why should I pursue or think about being with you, when I already hurt you before we even began." You admitted what you're thinking the whole time. "B-but I just can't let you go. I know I'm so late in realizing it but at that time, I don't want to reject you because I don't want to lose you."

Your voice started shaking as you explained, "I don't want to lose you because Baekhyun, you're the only one who saw me as a lady, that even though I am strong and thick-headed, you didn't take advantage of that, instead, you understood me and you took care of me, like a lady." You thought of the times that only he ran up to you and not let you bow to him just because you're a girl.

Baekhyun softened at what you told him, you looked at him and bowed your head because you were still embarrassed, "You're the only one who saw that I'm weak but even though with that weakness, you didn't leave me, instead, you protected me." You remembered the time when you were so heartbroken that he took you home and not leave by your side.

You gulped and let your feelings for Baekhyun be heard, "You're the only one who saw that I could be loved. I don't want you to confess because I don't want to reject you... at that time."

You then looked up at Baekhyun and then he chuckled at you. "Then don't reject me." he then slowly held your hand and you squeezed it right away, not wanting to let go of him anymore.

But then you told him, "B-but I don't want to like, be with you in my state right now." Baekhyun then narrowed his eyes at you, not really getting what you wanted to say. "I-I want to become a better girl t-that is suited to be with you, n-not a boyish girl like me."

Then Baekhyun clicked his tongue, "Don't you know Jieun that I like you the way you are. I like your strength. I like your weakness. And I love you."

You clenched your teeth for what Baekhyun was telling you. Your heart was so happy that it was beating so fast and you thought that if the moment could last longer, you would want to feel it forever.

"But, if that's what you want. Then listen Jieun, listen." Baekhyun said and he pulled you to the backstage and the others were waiting for him. It was the perfect timing as they would perform next.

( Wait )

The sound of guitar was heard and you were familiar with it. It was the song you composed with Baekhyun. You smiled because you understood what he was telling you the whole time, even with the misunderstandings you two had.

Kyungsoo sang the first verse but you're only looking at Baekhyun. "What are you thinking of? I'm thinking of you – My world is filled with you." Then Junmyeon smiled at the audience as he joined Kyungsoo in front. And you could hear the squeals of the girls on the audience.

Although, your mind was focusing on the lyrics Baekhyun wrote for you. "Can you remember how we were so excited this time of the year, baby?" Then Jongin stepped forward too and joined Kyungsoo as he sang, "In the white season that seemed to shine brighter that year - it blew in the past that shut the window."

And there you realized that the song was supposed to be during the winter concert. You gulped because you now knew that Baekhyun had already finished composing the song since it was supposed to be sung in the last concert, but then he made some changes and added your lyrics in it, too.

Jongdae then subtly looked at you and made a peace sign, "Could you understand how I feel as I stay in place, imagining you all day as I wait."

Then Baekhyun sang and you were all over the place. Your ears, your eyes were all focused on Baekhyun who hadn't even spared you a glance, "It looks like it could snow (Already, look outside) – You can't be too late (Promise me) So I don't accidentally miss you on my way." You sang with Baekhyun while calming yourself down. Why am I so dumb? You could only laugh at yourself because of all the things you did to Baekhyun.

Then Kyungsoo sang the next part but all you're looking at was Baekhyun, "Now all I do (All I do) All I do is wait."

Then Chanyeol stepped forward too and joined the singers in front, "You got cold so easily, telling me you were used to catching colds - But I hope this winter will be kind to you – you know that's one of my wishes baby." Jongdae and Minseok sang together as they acted like a couple in front, earning giggles and shouts from the audience.

It was Sehun's turn to walk on the front, "Why do I miss you so much more today? – I hesitantly looked through memories of you." And Junmyeon ended the verse with Baekhyun singing after, "And it's bearable because in the pictures your face is smiling back at me."

And the chorus played again with all of them singing. You smiled finally and your heart was now calm, though it was still beating loudly. Especially on the last part where Baekhyun finally looked at you as he perfectly sang, "All I do, All I do is wait."

You chuckled at him and felt so relaxed because of the music and your atmosphere. The performance was finished and Baekhyun walked towards you right after it. He was just looking and smiling at you as if waiting for your answer.

You looked at him, too and said, "Thank you, Baekhyun."

The concert had finished and the others dispersed into groups. You were with Jisoo and Naeun and they kept asking you if you and Baekhyun were now going out. You told them that you would still have a proper talk with Baekhyun later.

Then you all saw Baekhyun waiting at the school gates and immediately, they bid you goodbye. Jongin reminded you, "You better come home later!" you shouted at your brother for saying that.

Then Baekhyun laughed because he heard you bickering with your brother. You then softened and asked yourself why Baekhyun was so beautiful. It feels like she is the pretty girl and I'm just the boy who will always just admire his rectangle smile. Baekhyun then poked your forehead to wake you up from your thoughts and you shyly backed away and got embarrassed.

Baekhyun then asked, "Shall I take you home?" And of course, you couldn't say no to that. You were walking side by side with Baekhyun when he asked, "Are you cold?"

You shook your head, "No, I'm rather warm. But this feels nice." You smiled at him and sighed in the fresh air. Then you went in front of him and he stopped on his tracks. You looked up at him and confessed, "I-I like you, Baekhyun. So, you don't have to wait anymore."

And with that, he smiled the brightest. You really missed that smile and you were thankful that you're seeing that once again. He thanked you again the whole way you're walking home.

You talked about lots of stuff and there you realized that Baekhyun was just putting up a face with all his coldness towards you. He also admitted that he was mad at you, too. "Well, that's reasonable that you got mad at me. If I were you, I'll get mad at me, too." You told him that it was alright.

Then Baekhyun put his hand on the top of your head, feeling relaxed. You just left him because his hand was warm. "But when the classes started, I knew that you liked me." then you pouted at him and poked his side.

He explained, "I told you I'm not dense." He laughed at you and then he softened, "A-and of course because it's you. I get all mighty and confident that you like me, too. And about Hyeran..."

And there you looked up at him and became a little awkward because you two were now talking about another girl, it hurt you a little. Then Baekhyun watched your expression when he said, "Hyeran's my cousin." And he started to laugh out loud seeing your face look surprised.

You clenched your teeth and hit his arms, "Yah, aren't you being too cruel, Baekhyun?! I am really guilty about Hyeran all the time, being jealous and su-"

"Oh, so you did feel jealous." Baekhyun nodded and looked triumphant, "I must really thank Hyeran about that."

But then something was still bothering you, "B-but why doesn't Hyeran know about you composing songs?"

And Baekhyun got awkward this time, "Well, she's my cousin, you know. If she learns that I composed a song for you then she will tease me non-stop, and to inform you, she teases me everyday about that." and it was Baekhyun's turn to get embarrassed.

You laughed because you understood now what was going on. Baekhyun then he looked at you and the atmosphere turned serious. "But, it's not you like me because you just wanted to move on from Kyungsoo, right?"

Then you panicked and shook your head frantically, not wanting Baekhyun to misunderstand you. "No, no! I'm just stupid not to know about my feelings earlier but I will not do that to you! I really really like you!"

Then Baekhyun smiled at you and pulled you closer, "Took you so long, dummy!" and he embraced you. You were surprised that Baekhyun was hugging you and your heartbeat raced. You took in his scent and slowly hugged him back. "I love you, Jieun."

I'm really sorry if this seems like it's rushed. It's just that I don't have much free time now because I'm doing my thesis. To be honest, there's supposed to be more storyline for Dongmin and Hyeran, and more exposure of the members. But I can't concentrate on this because of my studies.
