Description

Jung Wheein, a digital nomad, have been moving from different places (alone) for four years. Going back to South Korea never crossed her mind ever since she started a nomadic life. One afternoon, she received an email from a childhood friend (whom she haven’t talked to for a very long time) inviting her to attend her wedding. This unexpected invitation from an estranged friend made her revisit the memories of her past  and also made her consider of going back home.
 

Foreword

This is the first fanfic that I wrote (the one that I couldn't upload). For some reason, I revisited it and decided to share it but instead of uploading it as it is, I'll try to make it longer and add personal experiences. 

 

I used to be a digital nomad and I think one of the reason why I wanted to share it is because I missed it. 

 

Living as such is harder that I thought but everything that I went through was worth it. 

 

Plus, I miss living the island life lol I miss surfing :(

Chapter 4: Something with the way they had that last dinner in iceland felt so nice. Because I really felt how wheein seem to be from a different place and how temporary she is in that place. Must be the way you wrote it. <3 Also for some reason ,I can't help but picture Wheein's old and dusty house as the same one of this animation movie called "Monster house." haha. Also the song from the past chapter was so perfect for your writing I thoroughly enjoyed it. <3

Chapter 4: been wanting to read this since i saw your username thinking it might be a reference to murakami's 1q84 character. anyways, i'm glad i already reached ch4 in one sitting. my attention span is really... bad that's why it's difficult for me to read fics and reach this far, but your storytelling is so compelling. thank you for writing!

Chapter 21: This story struck a chord. It’s so relatable. I totally relate to Wheein’s struggles, though I envy her for figuring things out faster . Especially with Yongsun.
