“I can’t do this anymore, Irene.” Wendy repeats

"W-what are you saying?" The question came out a little hoarse, because fear suddenly had her heart lodged somewhere in .

“Let’s break up.” Her voice was flat, devoid of emotion. Yet the emotion lacking in his voice was all too evident in his eyes.

Three little words, just three little words yet the impact to both of them were out of this world. The world around Irene had suddenly seemed to slow.

Tears became a torrent pouring down on Irene’s face and suddenly she couldn't breathe, couldn't see, could only feel and oh God it hurts.

“N-no… I can’t” Irene shaking her head “I won’t…”

“Irene…”

“I know we haven’t been doing well lately but it’s normal in a relationship, every couple goes through this and we can get through this”

Wendy just looked down

“Seungwan-ah, let’s fix this…” Irene begged as she embraces Wendy like her life depended on it “I’m sorry, I’ll be better, I can do better, Seungwan, please, don’t do this, I love you. I love you please.”

Wendy clenched her fist so hard that it tremble to stop herself from wrapping Irene in her arms for it will crumble all the courage she built for this moment and she cannot afford to do that.

“I’m sorry for hurting you; I’m sorry for not treating you well, I’m sorry, I’m sorry, please.” Irene pleads in tears hugging Wendy

“I know you hate me right now but don’t do this, please.” Irene continues “If you want time, I will give you time. If you want space, I will give you space, just don’t do this. Please, I’m begging you.”

Wendy clenched her fist so hard that it tremble to stop herself from wrapping Irene in her arms for it will crumble all the courage she built for this moment and she cannot afford to do that.

“What I want…” She trailed of stiffening; barely holding herself from throwing herself to Irene again
