Mina looked into Nayeon’s eyes as soon as she asked the question. Her interest had been peaked since Nayeon didn’t often talk about these topics, so since she was the one to bring it up Mina couldn’t help but be interested.

“Hmmm” Mina hummed, tilting her head and looking off to the distance to give off the impression “No I don’t think so” Mina smiled at the thought. Death.

Nayeon furred he eyebrows at Mina’s smile. “Why not?” she questioned.

“Don’t you think that death gives life meaning?” Mina responded

“Oh don’t give me that fortune cookie bull” Nayeon laughed, she’s heard that one too many times for it to be thought provoking. “Give me a genuine reason not what everyone else says”

Mina actually took a second to think about it before formulating a thoughtful response. It was clear that Nayeon was looking for something a little more unusual, so she started to think about her life, her long long life.

“Well, wouldn’t you get bored with life at some point?” Mina responded, looking at Nayeon to see if her answer sufficed.

Nayeon looked puzzlingly at Mina, she was expecting an answer like ‘Watching your loved ones die’ but leave it to Mina to surprise you with her insight.

Nayeon snuggled closer to Mina, thinking about what she had just said. “I think if I couldn’t die, I’d learn every language and travel the whole world. What about you?”

“Oh, ummm idk probably do that too.” Mina brushed off the question as seamlessly as she could.

“Really? That answer didn’t sound very convincing” Nayeon laughed, while subtly pushing the conversation. “Would you not want to… idk be the richest person in existence?”

Mina looked back to Nayeon with an eyebrow raised. “I already am?” she couldn’t tell if Nayeon was trying to get more out of her or if she was just trying to push her buttons, but she got a reaction out of Mina.

“Well I recently read an article that said Jeff Bezos was catching up to you.” Nayeon laughed.

“Pfft, he wishes that he could catch me” Mina replied, it just wasn’t possible for anyone to catch up to her, unless… she happened to die.

“Don’t worry, if you died id take your place as the richest right?” Nayeon joked.

“Yeah...” Mina forced out an awkward laugh, she couldn’t believe that Nayeon would actually taunt her so publicly, she was a little too cocky with this plan, wasn’t she? Mina felt something in her stomach telling her that she should scrap Dahyun’s plan and just stay alive, but she was tired. Too tired of living.

Currently, on the other side of town, Jihyo and Dahyun were taking their lunch break at work. Dahyun had been working the floor of the museum while Jihyo was on the desk shift, they were about to switch shifts and they were enjoying a nice lunch break together.

Dahyun was currently paying attention to her phone more than Jihyo and the latter wasn’t going to take it anymore. Much to Dahyun’s surprise Jihyo suddenly straddles her lover in the middle of the break room, causing the younger to turn bright red, looking around the room to make sure that nobody is around.

“J-jihyo what are you doing?” Dahyun stuttered, trying to hide her embarrassment “Somebody could see us!”

“Well it doesn’t seem like anyone would care to pay attention; you clearly weren’t paying enough attention to see me coming” Jihyo slapped back, placing a kiss onto Dahyun’s cheek. “Lunch break is over anyways, let go.” Jihyo said, but not before stealing a bite of Dahyun’s ramen before leaving the room with a skip in her step.

“Unbelievable.” Dahyun huffed before slurping down the rest of her food and getting back to work.
