Chapter 15
Boy Friend or BoyfriendLucas was still curling under his blanket and barely opened his eyes when Yuqi suddenly barging into the bedroom in her short pink sleepshirt, looking excited and lively despite the chilly rainy morning that has been showering the earth nonstop since they got back from the brunch cafe, two days ago. So these days, they've spent most of the time lazing around at his residence. Well, there wasn't much to do in this kind of weather.
He watched her climbing onto his bed with a sleepy gaze, wondering what she been up to in such early morning. "Hang on...Yah! Yah!" he exclaimed the next seconds, slightly taken aback when she casually crawled under the blanket and slipping herself into his arms, being all cute and cuddly. He was completely wide awake now. "What are you? A cat?" he muttered in a husky voice, shifting uncomfortably under his blanket while she curled up against his chest.
"It's so cold..." she whined while squeezing herself to him even more.
"Who told you to get off the bed at this hour..." Lucas groaned in frustration, still trying to recover from the sudden morning attack.
"Oh, right!" she jerked her head slightly from him, eyes sparkled in something he couldn't tell. "Look!" Only just then Lucas realized she was holding a phone. He blinked several times to get a clear view. "We should go here! Minnie said there will be a party too..." she said again, showing several white sand beach pictures and a familiar event poster to him.
"You want to go to that kind of beach party?" he glanced from the full moon beach party poster to her beaming eyes.
She nodded eagerly. "Yeah. I've been searching about it on youtube, it looks really fun..."
Lucas snorted then murmured in a grim tone, "Your mom will skin me alive if she ever found out I take you to this kind of party..."
"Why?"
"Do you even know what kind of event is this?"
"A music festival or stuff like that..." she said. "Besides, we don't have to tell my mom about everything..." she said again with a mischievous smirk.
"No, we're not going..."
The excited grin fell off her face. "Oh come on, what about our diving plan?"
Lucas yawned and asked her sleepily. "Do we really have to talk about this in such an early and rainy morning?"
"You're no fun..." she grumbled low.
"It's too early for me to be fun..." she pouted. "Go back to your room, sleep some more, we'll talk about this later..." he yawned again.
"No..." she sulked.
"Fine, do whatever you want, I'm going back to sleep..." he murmured low, closing his eyes, trying to sleep and secretly praying she would leave him alone but to no avail, she didn't even budge from her position, she basically glued herself onto him and he was too lazy to get up from the bed.
"Xuxi..." he stayed still, pretending to sleep. "I know you're not sleeping..." she said again, poking his cheeks repeatedly. He let her be, still pretending to sleep. "Xuxi, open your eyes..." he ignored her.
After some time she eventually gave up on poking his cheeks and probably diverted her attention to the phone now but she still didn't move away from him.
"Oh!" he heard her exclaiming in a happy note a few minutes later. "Xuxi, look!" she shook his shoulder vigorously. "Yah! Wake up!" she called out again. "Xuxi, stop ignoring me!"
He groaned low. "Ah, why? What? What do you want—" Lucas froze for a second before frantically pulling back from
