"Enozi Multi-Arts High, you're next." The event organizer said to the whole team. 

"Hey, Hitomi," one of her teammates called when he saw his cheerleading captain looking at the crowd. "We're going to start soon. I suggest you go and start your warm-ups."

Hitomi just nodded at him. She glanced at the audience one more time. She can see every single president of the other clubs, aside from the one she invited at the VIP.

What are you even thinking, Hii? She's interested in singing and instrument stuff, not at dancing, she thought to herself.

She followed her teammate's advice and started her stretching exercise. When their school name was called by the host, they cheerfully entered the stage. They immediately went on their formation but Hitomi was shocked because when she took a quick look at the VIP Area, she saw a girl in a brown jacket. Hiichan might be far away but she's sure who it is because the pink hair gave it away.

Spectacular is an understatement to Enozi's performance, from the choreography to the formations and stunts. And of course, just like what the other students expected, their cheerleading captain never lets them down. The whole arena full of people are clapping their hands and the squad exited the stage, their energy still high from their performance.

Most of the time, Hitomi will just get a drink from their coach and stay in the resting area. But this one is different. She went directly to the VIP Area.

"I thought you'll never come, Ms. Musician." Hitomi greeted.

"Why wouldn't I?" Chaewon replied. "Sorry if I'm a little late. I thought of buying an energy drink from the convenience store in case you need Ms. cheerleader."

Chaewon hand the beverage to the other girl. Hitomi just sat at the empty seat next to the pink-haired girl. The VIP Area just contained about four people. It's also a bit hidden from the general audience.

"What do you think? Can we win?" 

"It's not can't, it's will. You will win." Chaewon assured. "There's just one problem..."

"There is? What is it?" Hitomi worriedly asked. 

"Don't get me wrong but... Isn't your costumes a bit revealing?"

Hitomi laughed heartily at the other girl's question.

"What? Why are you laughing at me?"

"Sorry... It's just that... This is a cheerleader's normal outfit." Hitomi explained, still chuckling. "I mean, you can't expect us to wear long gowns while doing those kind of stunts, can you?"

"Fair enough... Well, at least now we're equal. You don't know about instruments, I don't know about cheerleading."

"Yeah, right," Hitomi said while nodding. "Are you really sure that we can win?"

"Honestly, this is my first time watching shows like this, I'm mostly into musicals. But not gonna lie, you raised my standards about cheerleading pretty high." Chaewon replied smiling. 

Hitomi and Chaewon continued talking about random topics until it's the time of announcement. As expected, Enozi won first place. Hitomi went back to her cheerleading team to celebrate. 

"I already told you that I can walk back home by myself." 

After the celebration, the Music Club President went to Hitomi to bid goodbye. But when she was about to leave, she discovered that Hitomi is planning to walk by herself home. That's why she decided to walk with the cheerleader.

"But it's already night. It's already dangerous when you're all alone in the dark, what more with those clothes? And also, you didn't force me to walk with you. It's my decision. So stop being so hard-headed, Hiichan." Chaewon replied. after their long conversation a while ago, Hitomi finally allowed her to call her her nickname since Hitomi seems to be a bit formal for her. 

"Fine," Hitomi said, jokingly rolling her eyes. Suddenly, the cold wind blew. The cheerleader shivered a little bit and the pink-haired girl noticed it.

"Are you cold? Why don't you put your hands inside your pocket?" 

"I... I was in a rush a while ago since the schedule changed... So instead of bringing my favorite jacket, I accidentally brought the wrong one. The one that doesn't have any pockets." Hitomi shyly replied, probably embarrassed. 

"Is that so?" Chaewon started to worry. "Well, how about this?"

She held one Hitomi's left hand (since Chaewon's the one on the left) and brought it to her pocket, resulting in the two holding hands inside it.  

"At least one of your hands isn't cold anymore." 

Hitomi was shocked at the sudden gesture, but she just let it since she's really cold.

Little did Hiichan know Chaewon's calming herself inside.

"Are you sure about entering the Lit Club?" Eunbi asked, resting her head at Chaeyeon's shoulders. Right now, they're having a mini-date at a 24-hour cafe.

"I am, Eun. I already told you, I want to help your sister. And aside from that, at least we're going to be Clubmates at you last year at Enozi." 

"You don't know how thankful I am, Chae. At least now, I don't have to worry about Wonyoung stressing herself so much." The older girl looked directly at Chaeyeon's eyes. "Thank you, so, so much."

"Anything for you, Ms. Kwon." Chae smiled sweetly at her girl. 

They continued their date when Eunbi's attention was caught by two students passing

"Is that... Is that Chaewon?" Eunbi looked outside the window. Chaeyeon followed her girlfriend's stare. 

"It is Chae-" Chaeyeon stopped. "Wait, you know her?"

"She's a schoolmate back from Middle School. Gosh, you don't know how scared that kid is to me. She stutters so much when I'm talking to her."

"It is her." Chaeyeon tried to look closely. "And... And isn't that Hiichan?" 

Both looked at the two girls walking and they noticed the hands inside the pocket. Eunbi and Chaeyeon looked at each other and chuckled.
