It was hard for you to make that decision, but you hope Jae Won would do just fine in whatever situation he was in.

However, you continue to glance at your phone every once in a while. < Maybe I should have gone to help Jae Won... >

The phone on your lap suddenly feels heavy, and a feeling of guilt surges through your whole body.

You don't tear your eyes off the phone, checking the time or so every minute, which seems to pass by very slowly.

You sigh and put the phone back in your pocket and try your best to pay attention to what Mr. Hyun is saying.

♛ 40 minutes later. ♛

Before Mr. Hyun left the classroom to go to his next class, he called Sang Min and you over. "Sang Min, ________, may I have a word with you both."

Exchanging glances, you both got up and headed towards the front of the classroom.

"Please do not show public displays of affection again in this classroom." He says sternly while wagging his index finger in both of your faces. "It is not appropriate in a classroom environment and may negatively affect your peers."

You mentally roll your eyes at his ridiculous statement, but refrain from saying anything. He continues to lecture you, but you start spacing out, his words beginning to sound like gibberish.

"Do you understand, ________?" Mr. Hyun and Sang Min are staring at you.

You feel embarrassed, and slightly bow. "Yes, Mr. Hyun." Mr. Hyun smiles.

"Good. I should be going now, or I'll be late to my next class." He laughs at his own joke and leaves the room after bidding you and Sang Min goodbye.

Sang Min and you exchange confused glances before going back to your desks. A female teacher comes in shortly after.

"Class!" She shouts immediately after standing in front of the room. "I am Mrs. Park, and I am a strict teacher with zero tolerance for disrespect."

< I want to leave. > "________!" Mrs. Park suddenly calls out your name after looking at a piece of paper.

"Yeah?" You respond dully, not really wanting to talk. You suddenly have all the attention from your classmates. < Did I say something wrong? >

"Judging from your tone and attitude, you must not be feeling well. Is something wrong?" She says, and you can hear a hint of anger embedded in her voice.

"Yes, there is something wrong." You snap back with some attitude, since her judgment is starting to irritate you. 

You feel Sang Min staring at you, but you ignore him and set your eyes on Mrs. Park.

"Watch your voice." She growls while gritting her teeth. "And please, tell us all what is wrong."
