20 Yuri’s POV

I spend the rest of the night trying to calm myself down. Yoga is not working anymore. So I choose punching bag instead. It help me release my stress little bit, but my head still full of her. Kim Taeyeon. I have to admit, that she have a gut. Not once in my almost perfect plan, this event come up, I already calculating every possible thing, I know her so well, she not did this by herself. Someone must back her up. Question is who?

Ignoring bruised that start form my knuckles, my hit become weak. Sometimes I wish I’m in opposite myself now, become the punching bag instead. So maybe I can become numb and pretend everything is okay, but since when wish is come true. Releasing groaning I give the bag several more punch before let myself slum down on floor with ragging breath. My eyes still on ceiling when suddenly my vision become blurry. I never allowed myself to cry anymore, but I feel too tired to even stop the tears. So I just let it out, one more time.

[Flashback]

I knock at the large wooden door in living room, feeling little bit nervous as I wait the person allowed me to come in. When I heard his voice, I took a deep breath before open the door to walk inside. “ Dad, you want to see me? “

My father was standing in front of the fireplace, staring at the light that illuminate the room. He seem engrossed to his mind that he still not notice my presence. So after closing the door, I approaching him slowly, let him know that I’m already here. “ Is everything okay Dad? “ I ask as my eyes also staring at the fire that slowly burn anything that put instead.

“ Can father see her daughter without something is wrong? “ there’s soft smile on his lips that I rarely seen it for while. Patting my back gently, he then took seat on chair in front of the firewood. My lips twitch with smile as I mirror his action, join him at another chair. “ How is school? Did you still taking Taekwondo class? “

Giving him proud smile, I nod my head. “ Black belt holder for month already. “

“ Really? I bet Yoona is pissed. “ Father jokingly said as he remind me and my sister rivalry. I chuckles softly as I answer him. “ I don’t think she even care Dad. She busy with her friend lately, you know, Kim Taeyeon? You met her few times before when she visiting. “ I told him and strangely, the smile on his face dim when I mention Yoona’s friend.

Silence took over the room right after it, but father break it as soon at it start. “ Yuri, I ask you to come to meet me right now because I need your favor. “ Father’s sound so serious and distant. My heart start to beat irregularly as my eyebrows form a knot. “ There might be a time, when you have to take over everything and lead the company. “

“ What do you mean Dad? Is everything really okay? “ I ask him unsure but he cut me quickly. “ And when that happen, I want you promise me to protect your sister. “

Still feeling confuse I agree nonetheless. “ Of course, Dad, I will protect Yoona. “ I swear to him but he, once again, cut me.

“ Not Yoona.. “ he whispering but paused himself before continues his words. “ Kim Taeyeon. “

I feel my breath hitch as I choked on my throat. Did I hear him right? What Taeyeon have to do with everything?  “Kim  Taeyeon? “ I repeat him, incase my ears is not in right condition.

I saw my father close her eyes, taking a moment to reveal everything. “ Yes, Kim Taeyeon, my first born, is your sister Yuri. “

I lost for words,  I feel like everything inside me just shattered. I stare at him, waiting for him to tell me that this is all just part of his bad jokes, but he just silent. When start talking again, he telling me story, where it all start. He telling me story about families, about friendship and love. The story about The Kwon, The Kim, The Jung and The Lee.

“ We all just ordinary teenager, but full of dream. “ Father start his story as he reminiscence the memory in his past. “ SM Entertainment is our dream. We build it with patient, dedicated and hope. Lee Soo Man is the creator. His unique idea is the one that make SM big. Jung Woo Sung accounting skill making sure we never have problem in finance  department. Me, of course, using my market and business skill to bring investor into our company. Then there’s Kim Tae Hee.. “ he paused and I saw gentle smile on his face when he mention the name. “ The most pretty girl in school.. she can be a model, a singer, anything she want in world, but she choose to stick with crack head like us instead. She’s the glue of our group, she make us keep calm in the most insane
