CHAPTER ONE

"Can you believe how time has flown?" Jungmee said as she looked over at her sister.
Minhee was staring out the window, looking at the ground as it gradually started to look closer and closer. They were only 20 minutes away from arriving at the place they had left four and a couple of months ago. 
"Four years have felt like months honestly" She responded as she looked back at Jungmee.
The girls had matured in appearance and changed themselves up a bit. Jungmee had cut her hair shorter; past her shoulder but above the chest. She had ombre out her brown hair with blonde tips. Minhee had dyed her hair a deep burgundy color but kept it the same length she always had it, although it had grown over the length of time they were away. Their physical appearances had changed a bit as well. Jungmee had a more narrow nose and her voice had gotten a bit lower with more prominent freckles all over her cheeks. As for Minhee, her cheeks got rounder and had a more defined chin. Their skin was sun-kissed as they had been out in the sun more often and California weather was always bright and sunny. They had customed to American culture and had brought that American style to Korea. 
For some reason, coming back to the place they had grown up in made them nervous, they could only see their brothers over social media, and talk to them from time to time over the phone. They never came to visit since they were busy with their own lives but they kept communicating with the girls. Their hearts were curious as to what they would look like in person. 
"I'm excited to meet little Minjung" Minhee smiled. Jungmee nodded her head and smiled too at the thought. Yoongi's girlfriend had given birth to a beautiful baby girl while they were away, and he had named her after both Jungmee and Minhee by combining the first parts of their names. 
"I could already see she took after her dad's squishy looks," Jungmee said as the two girls chuckled, and just like that, the plane had landed and they were on Korean soil once again. 
"You ready?"Jungmee asked. Minhee looked at her and just nodded as they linked hands and walked off the plane together with their carry on's in the other hand. Being alone together in the United States really helped deepen the bond that Minhee and Jungmee already had, and not even death itself could break the bond that these two had. Minhee felt her stomach drop out of nervousness, and Jungmee just looked around. The scenery, the smells in the air as the flowers bloomed, the people everywhere, all the familiarity was starting to return in an instant. But it still felt strange to be back, the atmosphere felt completely different. 
They continued walking down the airport, not aware that the boys had found them.

"Jungmee! Minhee!" They heard a familiar voice call out. The girls looked to where the voice had come from and with huge smiles spread across their faces of Yoongi, Namjoon, and Hoseok. They were much more well built now, taller, more muscular and their faces had matured. Namjoon had gotten some tattoo's on his arms, and Hoseok had styled his hair differently than he used to. It was orange now and dropped down his forehead. 
Instantly Minhee started to run towards her brothers dropping her carry-on. Jungmee followed closely behind but made sure to grab her sister's belongings. She watched as Minhee ran straight into the arms of Hoseok who was also running towards them. Hoseok embraced both girls as Jungmee set down the items on the floor. The three of them embraced in a huddle, following a tearful reunion. 
"Thank you, God! It's so good to finally be able to hold you guys!" Hoseok responded, his voice sounding a lot deeper than before. 
"It's so good to see you guys! America just wasn't home without you there" Jungmee smiled wiping the tears from her eyes. She truly missed her old life in Korea. Although America was fun at it was her birthplace but there was something about Korea that made her happy and at home. 
"You girls look good! Loving the change of hairstyles and you guys got taller!" Namjoon smiled as he swooped in for a hug. Although the girls had not gotten taller, they were now wearing heels which made them look more mature and taller. 
'Thanks, Namjoon, it's so good to see you too! Loving the tattoos!" Minhee smiled as she and her sister hugged him back. 
"You guys should stop by my shop sometime, I'll give you both tattoos on the house" He smiled while ruffling their hair. 
"You guys can't forget about us!" Said Yoongi as he walked over with his daughter. His daughter wore a beautiful pink dress that Minhee had sent for her third birthday back in July. She had her hair done into two pigtails with red ribbons on both. They had communicated through Skype with both but Minjung was too little to remember. 
"Yoongi! Minjung!"Jungmee called out, as they embraced.
"You don't know how much I missed you and your sister. Minjung wouldn't stop asking about when you two would come home either, she couldn't wait to meet you two" Yoongi said as he wrapped his arms around his sister. Despite the girls being thousands of miles away, he kept in contact with them. Always ask them about America and get closer to them. He learned to love them both and treat them like family. 
"We missed you too, it's good to be home, and finally meet our beautiful niece" Jungmee smiled. Her brother had finally warmed up to them and was expressing himself more. 
Minhee crouched down in front of Minjung and smiled as the cutie ran and jumped into her arms. "I have the prettiest aunties in the world!" She exclaimed out loud as she hugged Minhee.
"Hey hey, what about your uncles?" Namjoon joked. 
"Uncle Namjoon wants to be pretty too?" She replied innocently while tilting her head. 
Everyone couldn't help but smile and laugh at the little girl's witty response, as well as her incredibly cute aura. Yoongi had worked really hard to make sure she was learning to speak and communicate with others. 
"And we have the prettiest niece in the entire world!" Minhee smiled as she kissed her forehead. "Now say hi to aunty Jungmee while I say hi to your daddy okay?" She continued as she stood up. Jungmee then crouched down in front her of her, and Minjung jumped into her arms.
Minhee stood up and hugged Yoongi "It's so good to see you, I missed you!"
"I missed you too baby sis." He replied as he squeezed the girl. Hoseok couldn't help but become tearful at his brother's warm reunion with their little sisters. He was happy to see the soft side of his brother come out more.
"Shall we get going home? We don't want to spend the entire day at the airport do we?" Hoseok chuckled, as they all gathered the girl's luggage and walked towards the exit to their car. 

"It seems as if Minjung has already found her favorite aunts" Yoongi chuckled as he saw his daughter sandwiched in between the two in the car with a smile from ear to ear on her face. 
"Well, she's our favorite, so it's okay" Jungmee smiled at the little girl and gently pinched her cheek. They all got out of the car and they walked inside the house once again after four years. It felt as if a huge weight they had on their shoulders, had completely dropped. 

Fortunately, the girls felt right at home once again almost as if they had never left in the first place. They had arrived at their abode and were too excited to see the inside once again. Everything had stayed the same. The living room had the exact same furniture but this time there were toys scattered all over the living room. It felt like they had only gone on a trip for a couple of days and were coming back to their old life.
"I missed this place so much! I mean our penthouse was nice, but there's seriously no place like home!" Minhee smiled as she dropped all her things and inhaled the fresh scent of clean linen mixed with citrus, a smell all too familiar. 
"Right? I am so excited to be back!" Jungmee added as she plopped herself onto their living room couch. 
"The house feels a lot better having you two back" Hoseok smiled as he walked in with Minhee's luggage, and Namjoon following behind with Jungmee's luggage. 
"Are you girls hungry? We can go out to eat, or I can cook?" Namjoon suggested as he placed the luggage by the stairs. 
"Wait, you can cook? Since when?" Jungmee chuckled.
