Jungkook is arrive at his office, welcomed by a bunch of people from Tron, some researcher and executives. Jimin is already here, looks like the meeting is not started yet and everyone was waiting for him. He is nervous, a little bit scared too, not because of Tron but because of Yeri, he's worried if they’ll be able to trace her and finally knew about what she did. Things will get hard for her if that happens.

 

"Good morning.”

 

Without words, one staff from Tron, give Jungkook a bunch of documents, straight to his hands.

 

"We have our investigation result, your material helped us a lot."

 

Jungkook opening the documents, and looks like the employees who's working with Yeri for the classified document leaking is already arrested, meanwhile Tron have no proof about him or anyone from his firm leaking the documents at all.

He's flipping the documents till the end, and he feels so much relieves when Yeri and her name is not mentioned on the report result, at all. Looks like she's covering her trace well.

 

"Our suspect has zero information about the buyer, so we're planning to ask Miss Kim Yeri about where she get the leaking information."

 

But turns out that they really determined to find it.

 

"Can you set a meeting for us with Miss Kim Yeri?"

 

"Why would i do that?" 

He stopped looking at the documents, and talk to people from Tron without looking at their direction.

 

Jimin is doing nothing but waiting for Jungkook to play this out. He can see a little bit tension from him since the beginning he came here, but he’s good at hiding it and for everyone else in this room, Jungkook is nothing but totally intimidating, and got a winning hand on this. They're not even mad with how cocky he was with that question.

 

"We want to find the criminal."

 

"She told me she heard it randomly. From someone she doesn't even remember."

 

Jimin knows that Jungkook is lying, there's a high possibility that Yeri doesn't even aware about her being chased by Tron, because if she knows about it, that means she knows about Jungkook who's trying to expose her and there's no way their relationship will still good if that was the case.

 

"You have no right to refuse what we want, just because she is your girlfriend, Mr. Jeon. We're professionals here."

 

One of Tron executive is totally annoyed and talk to Jungkook with so much hatred, Jimin is a little bit taken aback but Jungkook remain his calm.

 

"I have a right, Mr. Han. I have all the right."

 

"Jungkook-ah.."

 

Jimin was trying to stop him when Jungkook is opening his bag and throw lots of paper from it to a table in front of him, it was scattered, every pieces of it. It was all the bad publications, news article, bad reviews which is made and spread on the business community for the past months about his firm.

 

"This is what happened to my firm while you were accusing me with lies.”

Now he's talking with one of the researcher who's sitting at the corner of the room. She looks terrified, and everyone from Tron is looking down instead of following Jungkook's eyes. He is crazy.

 

"According to one of your researcher, your informant, Miss Kim Yeri, is an ignorant and dumb person, so how could you use the information you got from her to accusing me and my firm when the real criminal was your own kind? why would you need to see her now?”

 

"Mr. Jeon!"

 

“She could point out to someone else and then you'll accusing them the same thing without confirming anything, just like what you did to me.  You're a big corporation, you must know how your stance on this matter will affect you."  

 

One of Tron executive, is slammed the table after Jungkook finished his speech, this is so intense and Jimin actually scared to deal with this. But Jungkook is not, he just keeps talking, pushing his own agenda to everyone on this room.

 

"The only thing i need to do is exposing your employee’s crime using evidence i gathered. And..that's it. People will curious about the classified document, and who knows if they finally learn about you using the restricted substances on your product. Government will get you, Consument will leave you. It's not worthy."

 

No one says anything right now, everyone from Tron, every single of them is calculating their loss and gain whether to continue or stop with this game Jungkook is playing. There are too much risks and losses on their side if media ever find out about any of this.

The situation right now is not actually bad for Tron, their product is selling well, no one bothered about the classified documents and they manage to hide the investigation for their employees from media. Even though, Yeri, a celebrity is somehow involved on this, no one from outside this small amount of people is aware about the classified documents. Jimin is sure, Tron will be fine if they stop bothering Jungkook and their firm.

 

"Then, what are you going to offer from us, Mr. Jeon?"

 

"Carry on with the project i made, explain things to public, save my firm, pay the damage you caused, clean my name, and leave Yeri out of this."

 

Jimin is seriously dumbfounded, so all the things he said and he did was his way to protect Kim Yeri, that selfish criminal, He's looking around and seems like people from Tron is no longer has anything against him since Jungkook already has too many winning card from their side, the important one on top of that.

So, he gets up from his seat and taking a paper to write something. He want to finish this quick.

 

"All classified things we talked about on this room, stay in this room, I'll take responsibility if any of Sky employees harassing your company with the information whatsoever."

 

He signed the paper and give it to Mr. Han, he read it quick and sign the paper too.

 

"The legalisation for the substance will be done in few weeks, You have no reason to worry about it again in the future."

 

Jungkook is doing nothing but watching Jimin shaking hands with people from Tron, no one come to him which is clearly obvious that they're totally disliking and hating him, he doesn't mind as long as he finally out from this and Yeri will be fine too.

He waits until everyone left the room before he's coming close to Jimin , he's expecting questions from him about what he did , but looks like he already understand everything.

 

"This kind of love is the one that ruined your sister."

It's what he said, and that's totally a jab at him.

 

Jimin is ready to take Jungkook's angers after saying that, because he knows, randomly and casually bringing up his sister name's in a conversation is something that he hates the most. Especially when it was used to attack him. But when Jungkook is not saying anything back to him, it’s obvious that he also knows exactly what his problem is.

 

"Do you think so?"

 

"Yes, Totally. I don't want to attend your funeral, and when people ask what happened to you, i need to tell them that you're dead because of your girlfriend. You know how ridiculous it was, that's literally your sister's life, Jungkook-ah."

 

Jimin is aware that he's being a little bit too hustle to Jungkook about this matter, he just said it because he's also mad and can not accepting the fact that Jungkook is letting Yeri go after she's ruining his business and making people around him suffers.

 

"It won't happen."

 

"It can't happen. I always told you to live your life normally, it's good that you have a girlfriend and stuffs, but don't do it if everything will just drag you back to your horrible past."

 

Jungkook seems really troubled with everything he said, and he finally walks to the door, trying to leave him, Jimin is not stopping him because the longer they're having this conversation, he'll just talk more and Jungkook will probably get hurts or even worse, angry.

 

He's ignoring him while taking his documents back to his bag, he takes a glance on him who’s already standing right in front of the door, but Jungkook is stopping right in front of it, and back to him, he's taking a deep breath, and talking while looking at the floor.

 

"It's not like i'm asking for this too, Hyung."

 

And he left. He's so pitiful, Jeon Jungkook.

Jihoon just arrived at his office when he found all his workers is talking as a group in a round table inside the editing room. 5 people is here. They looked surprise when he talks, but back to their phone right after that.

 

"Right, Lee PD is close with her, i saw him eat lunch and talk to her, let's ask him."

 

He can heard, one of his writer is out from the room and standing in front of his table, holding his phone. Everyone is out now, and Jihoon seriously don't understand this.

 

"PD-nim, our field team was going to that beach you told us to go this morning."

 

Jihoon remember the task he gave to these kids so he nod his head.

 

"For field survey, right?"

 

"Right. And Do you know, your celebrity friend, Kim Yeri-ssi is also there."

 

Jihoon is now focusing his attentions to her after hearing Yeri's name. She said she was going to go home yesterday with her manager, but why she’s still there.

 

"And what about it?"

 

"Our team got her on camera, not in purpose, they're taking the sunrise picture and she was there.."

 

His writer is showing him her phone screen quickly.

 

"With her boyfriend..that businessman."

 

And it is her, Kim Yeri and..Jeon Jungkook.

 

"Can i show this picture to some of my friends? I thought i need your permission since it was taken as company's property."

 

"Why would you do that?"

 

"I won't spread it, only showing this to my friends because lots of us are supporting this couple, they're gorgeous, PD-nim. Look at this one, the even got one where they're kissing.."

 

Betrayed. That's the only thing going on Jihoon head right now. He's angry at the fact that Yeri told him a lie, but he's even more pissed off with the fact that Jungkook is the one who is there with her. That guy always get everything he wanted. What does he lack compared to him, he's not even a good person and probably worse than him at treating people, but why..

Even his own family betrayed him for the sake of Jungkook 8 years ago.

He'll do anything to teach him a lesson, and with Yeri as his own, he can do lots of things.
 

That writer and everyone inside the room is becoming silent in seconds, when Jihoon takes the phone and slammed it to his table, really hard, it's ruined and broken into a few pieces.

 

"No. Back to your station and do your job instead of bothering me."

 

Everyone is out right away, and none of them are feelings good about this. Jihoon just worked here for few weeks, they're still getting used with each other but he already act like a total demon. Throwing tantrum at everyone, getting mad, and not even apologize. It was too much. He's crazy.

"You have photoshoot today, and interview."

 

Jay and Bona is with Yeri on their way to a studio for photoshoot, she randomly called them to pick her up out of nowhere and they went straight here.

 

"I already studying the concept and interview questions."

 

"Anything you want to crossed from the question list?"

 

"Can we do that, right now?"

 

Celebrities usually do this, especially someone from big and powerful agency. Yeri never did that because Irene's agency is not that known, only for the past two year, she gained momentum.

"Then, crossed all the question regarding my relationship."

 

"That's not going to work."

 

Yeri is staring at Jay with so much confusion, he said she can do it but next seconds he said she can't.

 

"The chief editor of this magazine specifically requesting those questions.”

 

“ Remember few months ago when an offer came to you about doing a photoshoot with your boyfriend? We manage to change the offer, and make it into your one man show, with interview about him included."

 

She's not even mad. Yeri is aware and knows it better than anyone, her image was upgraded to a next few level after dating Jungkook publicly. She's often talked about for being a girl with nice taste and some people even called her lucky for having him as a boyfriend.

Just like what Irene said back in the days, he is no celebrity but he has his own reputation at the business section news.

That and also after her family revealed to public, after they learn about the reign of her dad's business, her mom's famous restaurant, and all those moneys and assets under her family name. Yeri is gain her own profit through that. A woman with a perfect life, that's how people describing her.

Of course, since Jungkook has troubles with Tron and her dad get into bad publicity, and Seokjin's suicide went into media, the negative perception for her is still there, but it's literally nothing compared to people who support her and rooting for her.

She and Irene has been reviewing a dozens contracts and project for the past month. Her career situation is never as great as today. And that’s also why she’s scared over Lee Jihoon’s threat regarding what she did to Tron..

 

"Why Irene unnie received this then?"

 

"It's a good money and your job is not that hard."

 

"Unnie, the question is not even direct, it will only ask you about what kind of date you usually prefer, and other cliche things. It's not like they asked you about him that much."

 

“But still..why would people curious about my relationship? Because he is good looking or what?”

 

Bona is not comfortable with this situation at all, she already saw how Yeri is broken and ruined because of Jungkook, she can not believe that Yeri is getting back together with him so easily like this.

 

"If i told you, i don't like your boyfriend, will you get angry, Unnie?"

 

So she decided to talk to her about it. Jay totally looks surprised, Yeri is staring at her through the rear mirror but back to using her phone really quick.

 

"No, i don't like him either."

 

"Really?"

 

"We're probably hating each other right now."

 

"Then why?"

 

"I'm anxious when he's away from me."

 

Jay and Bona is totally confused and not taking what Yeri said seriously. She's probably joking.

 

"That's a weird reason.”

 

"It's not. Just like you and Bona. You guys are always anxious when i'm gone, right?"

 

"That's because we have responsibility."

 

"I have one too."

 

Yeri is being serious right now, so Jay and Bona decided to stop confronting her about it. The reason could be anything but they can see that Jungkook's presence is significant for Yeri’s life at some point.

"Kim Yeri-ssi!"

 

Yeri already changed her clothes and done with her makeup when she finally met with the team from the magazine. It's a cover story, which means 4 pages back to back for her pictures and interviews.

 

"Oh, good morning."

She give everyone a light bow, and not gonna lie, she feels nervous about this one job. Not about the photoshoot but the interview, Jungkook and stuffs.

 

"We'll do the photoshoot first, and interviewing you later after we're done."

 

Bona is helping her walk to the shoot location and Yeri just do her job, this is probably a hundred times for her, having a photoshoot.

Nothing is hard anymore, she can following all instructions from the photographer, smoothly. It’s an easy job just like what Jay said before.

Yeri sit for interview after 3 hours of shooting. It was started with easy question about her career, her new project and her interest. It’s getting harder when the interview start involved her relationship as a material.

Just like Bona said, the interview is not straight or direct. They’re not asking about why Jungkook, where Jungkook or how Jungkook directly, but she is not dumb to actually realized that every answer she gave today will be linked to him in the end. So she needs to be careful, Jungkook don’t deserve anymore hardship from her.

The interview is finally ended after an hour. She shake hands with the journalist and say goodbye to every staffs here. She was going to go but she find a familiar face in the crowd. Someone is waving his hand with a smile to her.

 

“This is totally coincidence.”

 

Jihoon is lying, he somehow find information about Yeri’s schedule and went to the studio without thinking much. This morning incident is really pissing him off and he has this brilliant idea to make it even for Jungkook and Yeri.

 

“I don’t believe you”

 

“It’s your choice.”

 

Yeri studying Jihoon’s expression and she actually believe him because he looks relaxed and natural.

 

“Are you busy this weekend?”

 

“Why?”

 

“I’m inviting you for a dinner. I had a plan that day but just in case it’s cancelled. I want you to have a dinner with me.”

 

“Do i have a choice?”

 

“No, you don’t. Unfortunately.”

 

Jihoon is getting up from his seat, and Yeri is thankful that he is not bothering her for too long.

 

“I’ll send you the invitation. Wear a dress. It’s formal.”

 

That's what he said before he finally left her.

 

Dinner sounds really serious, maybe it’s time to let Jungkook knows about Jihoon if she does go with him this weekend.

Fourth day without seeing Yeri.

 

Jungkook and Jimin is really busy with Mrs. Kim’s franchise restaurant project , they’re already began to work on it since 2 days ago.

Things with Tron are going smoothly so far, they fulfilled every conditions Jungkook want them to do and his firm slowly gain a positive feedback from clients. There are 2 new ongoing project, so his employees could have a job desk and not being anxious about Sky anymore.

Even though the situation is still far from good. But they’re making a progress at least.

 

“We’re heading to Mrs. Kim’s office for the food photoshoot.”

 

Jimin actually feels bad for Jungkook because he’s been working non stop for days and he still needs to do this.

 

“I can go instead. You should rest.”

 

“She’s specifically requesting me to go. It’s ok, Hyung.”

 

“She’s definitely feelings guilty about what happened. She’s 15 years late.”

 

Jungkook is not denying or agreeing with his remarks but out from the room with a smile.

Mrs. Kim is inviting a few of her restaurant’s chef for the photoshoot today. She wants a perfect shoot for the promotional poster of her restaurant’s new menu.

 

“Mr. Jeon is here.”

 

She’s out from the kitchen and go back to her office when her secretary told her about Jungkook’s arriving. He’s here for work, but she also has different agenda, she’s really worried about him because the last time they saw each other, his condition is not good, Yeri is busy too these days, so she can’t actually ask her about it.

 

“Jungkook-ah.”

 

She knows things like this is probably too much for him, but Mrs. Kim can not help it, she’s reaching for his hand and giving him a light hug. He’s not accepting her hug but not actually avoiding it too, he touch her hands as he push her away, and giving her a smile.

 

“This is the photographer who’ll work for the shoot, Mrs. Kim.”

 

Mrs. Kim is bowing her head to a few young man holding cameras, and give them a smile. She takes them to the kitchen and told them to discuss with the chefs for the photoshoot while she's out dragging Jungkook by his hands.

 

"How are you feeling Mr. Jeon?"

 

Jungkook is smiling at her when she totally looks worried, Yeri is similar with her, her expression when she's worried.

 

"I'm fine. You don't need to worry about me that much."

 

"I tried to ask Yeri about you, but she's really busy, and ignoring my calls all the time."

 

Jungkook is actually feelings relieved hearing this, because that means Yeri is not ignoring him only but everyone, including her mother. He thoughts she's avoiding him.

 

"I had a hard time trying to speak with her too."

 

"She's busy, don't worry. I'll bring her here for you."

 

Mrs. Kim looks happy knowing Jungkook and Yeri actually talked to each other after having so much crisis on their relationship. She knows the best choice they have is to stick together and helping each other dealing with their own past.

 

"I'll be out for few hours, so you can do your job here, and my secretary will assist you."

 

"I understand."

 

Jungkook walk her to her office door and receive another hug from her as she leaves. It does feels new to experienced all of this, someone who's not working for you worried about you and asking about your life, she's not even a friend or a family.

 

"Mr. Jeon, how about this concept?"

 

Jungkook is back to the kitchen and begin his work, he really wants to do well for this project, his company need an image rebound and a great result and this project will give him that.

He spent hours to watch and monitoring the photoshoot, there are more than 5 samples were made by the chef, a hundreds angle were tried by the photographers to get a great shoot from the food. Because the promotional poster will be used for a long time. They need to have a good one.

 

"Let's try it one more time with less lighting."

 

Mrs. Kim is back with a bunch of food and with Yeri. She called her about Jungkook being here, and Yeri is actually excited, she puts a hold on her schedule at her agency to came here.

 

"I'll just see him briefly, and i'll go back."

 

"Why won't you just say hello or something?"

 

"I don't want to distract him."

 

Yeri is walking very slowly behind her mother, she just here to see Jungkook because she missed him. She's actually embarrassed to see people from Sky, just in case they're aware about what she did to their company. It's even worse if Jimin is also here, so she's trying hard to hide while taking her chance to see her boyfriend working.

 

"I'll be waiting here." She choose to stay behind the glass door, while Mrs. Kim is getting back inside her office, Jungkook is still not here.

 

"Kim Yeri-ssi."

 

Her mom's secretary is tapping on her shoulder when she passed by, it must be weird for people around here, to see her sneaking around. It's totally shown on their expression. Yeri is not responding to her and giving her a smile when she finally can see Jungkook is out from her mom's personal kitchen with two photographers, Yeri is familiar with one of them, she saw him at Jungkook's office for a few times.

Jungkook is totally serious when he's working, well.. given how she ruined his company, he actually has no choice but to work hard. He's watching a monitor while having a discussion with her mom and the photographers, he looks serious but somehow happy with what he saw, he even laugh together with her mom while pointing something on the monitor.

Beautiful, Pretty, him being happy is definitely something she needs to treasured, after all the bad things in his life, after what her family did for him, after what she did to him, he deserves so much more.

 

"The photo shoot session is ending here, i'll choose a few and my team will work on the poster design and we'll give you a few alternatives so you can choose later."

Jungkook is done with his work, he's turning off his laptop, and shaking hands with all the chefs. He made them work extra hard.

 

"Then, we'll go back to the office and sorting this pictures, we'll give you the file tonight."

 

"Ok."

 

Yeri is running away right after the two photographer opening the door and out from the room, she's staying at the front desk, hoping to not get caught by them.

And she's lucky because the two men is busy with their own conversation and leave the office immediately. She takes a quick glance back to Jungkook who's still busy talking with her mother and she decide to leave.

 

"I'll get going, tell my mother." She takes her bag and give her mom's secretary a light bow.

 

"Mr. Jeon want you to wait."

 

"Who?"

 

"Mr. Jeon Jungkook from Sky told me that you need to wait until he finished his work."

 

"When? Does he even know that i'm here?"

 

"This morning, Mrs. Kim told him you were coming."

 

Yeri can't believe this. It's a total conspiracy, so what's the point of her hiding behind that door, if Jungkook is aware she's here all the time.

She's waiting for all the chefs out from her mother's office before confronting them about this.

 

Mrs. Kim is back to her kitchen while talking to Jungkook and pat his shoulder lightly, when Yeri enterin the office while clenching her fist.

 

"She'll wait. I told you."

 

Yeri is standing in front of him with a blank expression because she really is annoyed for being fooled like this. Jungkook lift his face to her, while still focusing his eyes to a few paper work on the table.

 

"This is not funny."

 

"Ignoring me for 4 days is not funny either."

 

Well, he's mad. Obviously, Yeri bite her lips and trying to find an excuse for that.
 

Yeri left him when she has no excuse, she promised him to keep in touch the last time they met each other but reality is totally different. She understand why Jungkook gets so angry about this.

 

"I have a meeting in another branch, take the food. I already packed it up for you two."

 

Yeri can not say anything to her mom or holding her from left the office. Leaving her together with only Jungkook who's totally having a bad mood.

She's doing nothing but holding two bag of food package from her mother, it reminds her to the old good times, when every morning she'll bring Seokjin's lunch to school because he needs to attend an early class and missed his breakfast all the time.

 

Yeri is watching Jungkook closely, he's drawing some sketch on his documents, totally serious. She doesn't know what to say to him, so she ended up doing nothing and using her phone to send a text message to Bona about being late for her appointment with Irene, she's supposed to reviewing some project with her this afternoon.

She puts her phone away immediately when Jungkook is done and now staring at her.

 

"I know i made a mistake, you don't need to looking at me that way."
 

"You're thinking too highly about yourself."

 

He's taking his bag and ready to leave her while saying some insults.

 

"Excuse me?"

 

"You're not actually a huge distraction for my daily life,  if you think that picking up my call once will makes me craving for your existence then you're wrong. I'm not under anyone's control and certainly not yours."

 

"I know."

 

She actually has no energy to fight him or arguing, so she choose to back off from him, she give him his food while walking away from him.

 

"And why are you here right now?"

 

"I'm not sure why."

 

There's a smile coming from Jungkook when Yeri said that. It reminds him to the last time they saw each other, when he was looking for her and decide to chase her to that remote place, Yeri asked him why he's there and Jungkook also not sure why.

 

"Why?"

Yeri is placing her food to her mom's table desk and tugging Jungkook shirt when she find him smiling at her.

 

"I miss you."

He's saying it after sighing, it doesn't sounds sweet for Yeri, it's just sad. He's not even looking at her while saying it.

 

She is placing her hands on his shoulder as she touched it lightly, and taking him to her embrace. He's resting his head on her shoulder when she pat his head and caressing his hair. He must be having so much hard time at work trying to fix everything she ruined.

 

"Do you want me to confessed to Tron about what i did?"

 

Jungkook is surprised to hear what Yeri said so he stopped hugging her and giving her a glare. He worked hard to take care of that problems and he doesn't want Yeri to ruined it for him.

 

"I'll probably regretting it later, but there's nothing i can do to help you other than that, right?"

 

Exposing herself to Tron will definitely ruining her life, and Yeri knows it better than anyone, Jungkook started to think that, it might be not only him who turn into the next Jeon Sooyoung who's ready to sacrificing everything he has for love, Yeri is probably having that thoughts too.

 

"Why would you do that?"

 

"I want to take responsibility and..."

 

Jungkook is aware that Yeri is not even sure about what she said, her eyes is nervous and she clearly doesn't meant it.

 

"...i love you, it's a good reason."

 

He's linking his arms on her waist and making Yeri standing closer to him.

 

"I don't want you to do anything about it. It's happened, I got into your bad side and i learned my lessons. I shouldn't have exposing your family, your brother, what happened to him and trying to frame your father."

 

He give her a kiss after saying that, Yeri is flinching but she's still receiving it well, there's a smile on her face but still has this worried expression, so he's caressing her back slowly.

 

"I already taking care of it. Just forget it, don't talk about it to anyone."

 

He catch a change of expression from her when he said that. It's weird.

 

Lee Jihoon knows about it, if Yeri tell Jungkook about him, he'll find out about her who's trying to ruin him with Jihoon's help. He won't be happy knowing that.

"I was really busy. There's a photoshoot, cf shooting too, i also help Irene unnie with audition."

 

Yeri is still trying to explaining things to Jungkook about being MIA for the past week. He asked about what she did, and Yeri is not lying about being busy, even though the main reason to why she's avoiding him was because his father starting to ask her about Jungkook.

He even tell her to come to his office, and she is sure, he already knew about her being close with him again.

 

"Mrs. Kim told me that you even ignored her call."

 

"I'm busy." Jungkook knows something is odd from Yeri when she speaks so little to him and looking at the back for a few times.

 

"What is going on?"

 

"I think someone is following your car. It's probably one of my father's.."

 

He's totally baffled, and begin to looking at his rear mirror and there's a black audi car right behind him.

 

"What exactly is your father? a mafia?"

 

Mr. Kim is a successful businessman, Jungkook knows him long before he's aware about him as Yeri and Seokjin's dad. He heard his names for a few times, he's known as an ambitious, and cold-hearted person. And for the past months he learned about his business, he realized that he actually has no chance to against him. Not to mentioned, the impression he receive from him when they met, he's powerful and scary. In other words, he is totally capable at making Sooyoung and Seokjin did what they did. And same thing would be happened to him and Yeri too.

 

"This is how i lived my life. I usually pay no attention and ignore him, but since you're with me right now everything seems different."

 

He can see Yeri is serious about this and she is not happy with the situation.

 

"What are you doing?"

 

Yeri is totally surprise when Jungkook choose to pulling over suddenly, she doesn't want this to happen.

 

"I need to ask what they want.”

 

"It's a crowded road, people are everywhere. I can't do this."

 

"I'll take care of it, you don't need to do anything."

 

Yeri can not stopping him, when he's out from the car after the audi is pulling over behind them. She has no idea what will Jungkook say to one of her dad's minion or what will they say to him as a response. She's already taking off her seatbelt and watching Jungkook walking to that car, he looks like a gangster with his huge built and all those expensive suits he's wearing. She already made up her mind to let him do everything he wants and stay out of this. She trust him, he'll probably threaten those men to stop bothering her and they'll listen.

 

"Why no one is coming out?"

 

She started to feels anxious when a familiar face finally out from that car. Jungkook is stopping from his walk right away and she knows this is totally a mess.

That man is the one from her dream, his dad's assistant, the one who's looking for Jungkook 15 years ago and giving him money. She use her corner of her eye to glance at Jungkook, and his expression is totally not good.

Yeri and her family is the one who's responsible for what happened to his life but he never met them before, he never saw her dad or her mom, the only figure he knows from Seokjin's side is nobody but this man. He was resenting her family, with this man on his mind for the past 15 years, there's no way he'll be fine to meeting him like this.

 

Nothing is changing, he's still wearing the exact same clothes from 15 years ago, a long black coat with a gray ties, nice styled hair, a black leather shoes. Everything is still the same, he's only getting older. Jungkook can't bring his legs to move because the whole thing is really ridiculous, he's totally lost because of it. It still feels like yesterday when this man came to him out of nowhere, trying to defend Seokjin and his family. Destroying his last hope about him who will take responsibility over what happened to Sooyoung.

 

"What's your problem?"

 

Jungkook can feel his legs again when Yeri is walking passed by him and talking to the man from earlier. She's crazy, people are paying attentions to them now, some of them even stop from their activities and looking at her.

 

"I'm not a kid, you guys need to stop doing some kind of unreasonable work for your boss."

 

Yeri is trying to talk with a very low voice, because she's aware people are looking at her now.

 

"We're here to get you."

 

"You've been following me for days now, and not even once you came to get me like this. Why now? Because of him?"

 

"Mr. Kim want to see you, that's all."

 

"And if i refused to do so?"

 

"I'll need to ask Mr. Jeon to let you go."

 

"He's not kidnapping me."

 

"Is he not, really?"

 

Yeri knows it very well, that sentence means her father has everything set up to get Jungkook into trouble by using her. This is her fault, she's not supposed to ask for his help when she tried to ruin Jungkook before. With this, her dad can easily win over her.

 

"I'll go."

 

Yeri told him to get inside her car and wait for her, while she's back to Jungkook who totally looks puzzled, and baffled, his expression is blank, he is lost. Completely.

 

"I know that guy."

 

That's the first sentence he told her when Yeri drag him back to his car and opening the door for him. She close her eyes and using her hands to touch Jungkook's chest. It was beating so hard, she can feels it on her palm.

 

"I need to go."

 

"No, you don't."

 

There's no way Jungkook will let her go with this man. It's like handling the most precious thing he has to the person he not trust.

 

"Where are you going?"

 

"My dad want to see me."

 

"Yeri-ya.."

 

"I told you once right? even if i was told to choose between my father and you, i'll choose you in a heartbeat. I'm doing it right now. It's better like this. I have things to talk with him too.."

 

Yeri is looking around her surrounding and give him a kiss when she realized people already stop paying attention to her.

 

"Please.."

 

Jungkook is totally waiting for her until Yeri leaves on her dad's car surrounded by two of his minions.

This is happened before back when she was a high school student, being dragged home for a reason that her father hates. It was underage drinking at that time, and Jungkook right now.

 

"He changed a lot."

 

Yeri knows he talked about Jungkook, but she really has no will to engage with this conversation.

 

"No, he’s not."

 

"It was like this 15 years ago, too. I found you because of him."

 

She's ended up ignoring every single thing these people are saying and thinking about what should she say to her dad. Should she told him everything about the nightmare? the way she met Jungkook, the weird dream, Seokjin and Sooyoung, every single thing so he can understand why it's hard for her to see Jungkook as a bad person like him even though she has her own share for being hurt and hating him before.

She is aware that her dad is scared of Jungkook for all what he did. She can understand it really well. The only thing she can't accept is the way he thinks Jungkook becoming like this not because of what he did, like he's not the one who's responsible for how ruined he is. Her mother is better because she can acknowledge the past and trying to fix it, but he's just..difficult.
