SIDE A: ACCIDENTALLY YOURS

Jessica stretched out her arms as she squints her eyes shut and opens them. She let her eyes fully adjust to the ro    om as she blinks for a good amount of time only to connect her eyebrows in confusion when she realizes that this building never existed from her bedroom view before. She slowly lifts herself up and slowly eyes the room that she's currently in and made her want to swallow the lump on . 

This isn't my room. She thinks to herself.

She grips on the gold-like bedsheet and slowly lifts it off slowly and she couldn't help but gasp when she sees her form underneath it. She snaps her head forward and leans onto the headboard holding onto her lower abdomen, grunting as she suddenly feels sore while grabbing all the bed sheet to surround her entire being. Her heart starts to beat faster as she desperately begs her mind to remember what happened last night. 

"What the fudge, what the fudge, what the fudge...." She mumbles to herself as she bites her nails nervously. "What the hell happened last night!?" Her eyes were looking all over the bed but screams when she sees spots of blood scattered on the sheets. "Holy!"

"Ughh quit being loud in the morning will ya? It's annoying me." Jessica screams once again when she sees another human in their form right beside her. "Yah! I told you-"

Jessica's eyes were about to sprawl out from her face when she sees the latter's face. "Oh my sweet Lord."

Just as when Jessica thought that her morning couldn't be more surprising, seeing Kwon Yuri in her bare face, messed up hair and wearing nothing but her birthday suit, is clearly the highlight of all of it. Seeing her ultimate crush in such form made her leap backwards all of a sudden, completely unaware of the fact that she was aready on the edge of the bed, making her fall down hard on the carpeted floor.

She grunts and closes her eyes for a moment trying to let the pain subside and opens them. She then finds Yuri hiding the lower half of her face undereath the pillow, looking so soft and mushy. Yuri then releases a short series of chuckle before going back on her side of the bed while she stands up as she carefully wraps herself with the use of bed sheet. A moment of silence were shared between the two of them making Jessica mentally curse for not listening to Hara's lecture of How-to-escape an awkward moment with your one night stand.

The rockstar on the other hand, could immediately feel that the blonde-haired beauty was pretty tensed which made her think that this was her first time hooking up with an idol. She was about to chuckle and explain the whole Don't-worry-idols-are-human-too thought when she sees the blood on the sheets making her widen her eyes.

 

" I am sorry I didn't mean to-"

"Um, I think I'm just going to get dressed and leave." She shyly says. "That's wwhat they do right? At least, that's what I think... and saw."

"Saw from where?"

"Movies." Yuri snickers making Jessica embarassed. "Okay I'm just going to leave bye have a wonderful life."

"They don't actually leave just yet." That made Jessica stop in her tracks.

"They... Don't?"

"Yeah, sometimes they freshen up and grab some breakfast together." Jessica raises both of her eyebrows. "We obviously need to talk anyways. I'm pretty sure you're just as confused as I am."

"O-okay, I'll do- that."

 

She rushes towards the bathroom door and leans on it, breathing hard as she still couldn't believe what just happened. She try to process the facts that one, she woke up , two- she woke up with a Kwon Yuri as well and three- they might've spend a night together.

 

"Come on, come on, come on... This isn't real right? This can't be happening." She says as she paces back and forth. "No, no, no. This can't be happening!"

"But damn, how lucky can I get? Aish! Focus Jessica Jung!"

"This really can't be happening. I just can't lose my first time and completely forget about the events!"

"Come on brain! Work with me on this!"

"But Jessica! You probably slept with your crush! You're lucky as hell!"

"Arghhhh! Focus! Focus!"

"E-excuse me?" Yuri says from the other end of the door, surprising her. "Are you alright?"

"Y-yeah." She coughs and lightly slaps herself. "I-is there something wrong?"

"Nothing really. I was just uh- wondering if you have some kind of allergy? I'm about to call for room service."

"I don't have one." She says. "I'm all good except cucumber."

"Okay."

Jessica heaves out a sigh of relief when she hears foot steps fading away. "Good Lord, help me with this."

 

After taking a nice shower, she steps out of the room wearing her bathrobe and uses some towel to wrap around her hair. She lightly pats her cheeks before heading out towards the breakfast nook where her tummy instantly rumbles at the smell of a beautiful made breakfast and of course, a very dashing Kwon Yuri who ushers her to seat as she reads the morning news paper and couldn't help but notice the red to violet marks on the latter's chest and wondered if she was the culprit of it.

Well actually she doesn't read the morning newspaper. She was also deep in her thoughts because just like Jessica, she also couldn't remember what happened last night but she's sure as hell that the blonde sitting right in front of her right now is not the blonde that she was hanging out with last night and she's gonna get some answers to the questions from her mind.

 

She places down the newspaper and looks at the latter. "Oh good, you're here. I'm starting to think you drowned yourself there or escaped through the window. Though I really wouldn't recommend doing option B. We're really way up high." She then sees Jessica's eyes were focused on her exposed chest. "Ahhhh, I see you admire the artwork you've created."

Jessica widens her eyes for the second time. "I did that?!"

Seeing how innocent and how pure she looked made Yuri realized that she was new to all of this. "We should eat first right?"

"But what about-"

"It's fine." She timidly smiles. "But I'm not going to be fine if we don't eat because my stomach is grumbling."

Somehow, Jessica manages to return the smile back. "Okay."

Yuri never really had an awkward moment in her entire life. Sure she could be silent that could cause awkwardness to others but it was on their side not hers entirely and yes she could come off as someone who's unapproachable but she knew when to strike up a conversation with a stranger or a possible acquaintance. But this wasn't a formal party or an awards show, no. This was a breakfast with her one-night stand, something that she has never done before.

While the blonde girl was inside the bathroom she was also pacing back and forth as she scolds herself so many times on how she could let something like this happen. She worried about the girl, and how well she was going to take this and how (I)well did she do last night since she really couldn't remember anything.

 

"I guess it's time for us to talk."

Jessica wipes with the napkin and nods her head. "Yeah, I think so too."

"Do you..." She shifts within her seat, trying to find a more comfortable spot. "Do you remember anything from last night?"

"All I remember is myself feeling hotter and getting more active, my vision getting blurred and someone dragging me away. That's it."

"And before that feeling hotter and all, what can you recall?"

"Hmmm... I remember taking a break and going back to the table with my friends. We talked for some short time and then a waiter comes in and hands me a drink. It was from Taecyeon."

"Wait, who gave you a drink?"

"Taecyeon did." She says. "He was a guy from my school who they say have a crush on me but I really don't think so."

"And did you drink it?"

"At first I was contemplating whether to do it or not. But I gave in anyways thinking it was a harmless drink and he just wanted to be nice."

"Then you went cray cray after that right?" The latter nods in response. "Figures. I think he drugged your drink."

Jessica involuntarily spits out her tea. "Ectascy?! Isn't that a drug?!"

"It is, but don't worry. I'm guessing he found it from the blonde chick who was flirting with me last night. I felt the same thing to when I took her drink."

"Then, you also don't remember anything from last night right?" Yuri eyes her apologetically. "It's fine, I guess..."

"Do- what was the last thing you remember before passing out?"

The blonde bites her lower lip, thinking about the things she could remember. "I remember somebody dragging me away from Taec last night."

"And I remmeber dragging someone away."

 

Jessica and Yuri look at one another as if trying to put two and two together without the use of words and in some odd way, they've kinda did understand what was going on. Clearly the blonde chick and Taecyeon wanted to do something to them, something that could put their lives in deep trouble but somehow, fate suddenly turned its way once again and letting them spend the night together.

To be honest, Yuri could care less about what happened with that dumb blonde who drugged her. The one that really concerns her is the fact that the beautiful lady right in front of her almost lost something so valuable to her as a person to someone who only wanted to get into her pants and for some unknown yet obvious reason, she wanted to kick Taecyeon's balls hard.

 

 

"Why are you so calm about this?"

"I just have to accept what I cannot change." Yuri eyes on her. "It has been my life motto ever since."

"Change what you can't accept and accept what you can't change."

Jessica nods in agreement. "This is one of the things I cannot change."

"I'm so sorry that had to happen to you. I wish I would've known better last night. I could've prevented this from happening."

"It's okay. You were the victim too." She says. "And besides, losing it to you was way better than losing it to him."

Yuri suddenly wanted to know more about this girl. "Are you a model of some sort?" The latter looks at her. "I was just wondering if you were in that kind of industry since I knew that bar doesn't let anyone in."

"I'm a senior student from Seoul Beauty Academy."

"Oh really? You know I went to perform there a month ago. You guys were amazing." She says. "Were you there in the concert?"

"Huh? Oh well..." Jessica bites her lower lip as she looks elsewhere. "Seniors' attendance are mandatory so yeah I was there." She excuses. She doesn't want to think that she's kind of some weird fan.

"So, how did you like our songs?"

"It's..." She grabs her tea cup taking a sip of Jasmine tea while trying to find the right words to say. "Refreshing."

Yuri raises both of her eyebrows. "Refreshing?"

The latter nods her head as a form of affirmation. "Most rock bands sing about being in love and how wonderful it is but your band sing sad songs about breaking up and not being able to move-on because you love someone so much. It's refreshing and calming to think that some people can still love like that hard in times like this, where most of relationship status depends on something temporary rather than permanent."

"But don't you think it's sad that some people don't move-on from their ex-lovers?"

"We all don't move-on completely from our ex-lovers. We manage to live without them yes, but you can never ever forget the memories you've spent with them, especially the good one because somehow, in that specific time in your life, you were actually happy and that's what you carry on with you."

Yuri leans back on her seat, hands crossed as she eyes her with such amazement. "It's the first time I heard that kind of opinion from someone."

"Well there's a first time for everything right? Besides, I always tend to do that."

"Do you always look at the brighter side of life?"

"Yes." She answers immediately. "Why deal with something that can make you sad when you can focus on something that makes you happy and hopeful?"

 

Later on they continued to talk about general things and Yuri finally heard Jessica's personal side of the story since hers was pretty much open to the public. The rockstar couldn't help but be amazed that such people like her still exist and wondered where did she get this kind of positivity in life even after all that she's been through. She was just happy to know that she was finally so close to her dream on becoming a beauty queen and the possibility of representing South Korea in the Miss Universe.

 

"Okay enough about my life." Jessica says, already feeling comfortable around her major crush. "Tell me about yours."

"You can google it by now."

"Well then tell me something I can't find from the articles online. Something that's not too personal, but at the same time you don't want the majority to know about it."

"Hmmmm, I'm not sure..." She leans forward and looks at her. "What do you want to know?"

Jessica thinks about it for a good seconds. "Well-"

 

Jessica's phone started to ring so she excuses herself and starts to rummage through her purse until she found her handphone and gave herself a safe distance given the fact that it was Tiffany who was calling her and she knows how loud Tiffany could be when she's in the mood for some scolding. While Jessica is listening to her best friend's reprimands, Yuri takes her phone out as well and scans the news online to see if someone saw her leave that club and thankfully all she saw was news regarding about politics that she doesn't care about. After she was done checking her notifications, she was feeling really good today so she decided to spoil her fans with a
morning selfie, of course without the vision of the marks found on her chest before posting it on social media and locking her phone once again.

 

 

"Uhm." Yuri turns to the woman who was standing there awkwardly already dressed up. "I'm gonna go ahead. My roomate's pretty worried about me."

She nods her head in understanding. "Okay."

Jessica purses her lips. "Thank you." She says. "For everything."

"Everything?" She says, unable to hide the smirk coming out from her lips.

Realizing how double-meaning she sounded, she widens her eyes and shakes both of her hands in denial. "T-T-That's not what I mean! What I meant was thank you for taking good care of me." She widens her eyes again. "I MEAN! For the meal and the talk I just-"

Yuri ends up chuckling, a sound that Jessica doesn't mind to her from her. "Yeah, sure thing. No big deal."

Jessica blushes, seeing Yuri's eyes were upon her. "I-I'm gonna go now."

"Alright..." She trails off, unsure of what to call the beautiful blondie.

"Should I give my real name or some kind of alias?" Yuri laughs heartily making Jessica's own heart beat faster. "S-s-sorry I just thought that people do these things."

"I think I deserve the real one since you know mine."

"Jessica." She says. "My name's Jessica Jung."

"Well then Jessica Jung-" She smiles and faces the latter. "It was a pleasure to meet you."

 

She says nothing in response and turns around to leave the room. She walks calmly and full of composure and waits until she reaches the elevator where she started jumping and silently screaming to herself with all those dramatic hand gestures as she feels her cheeks getting redder and redder every second. It even took her a while before finally calming down. She goes out of the elevator and was thankful that Yuri booked themselves was not too far from home and so she took the bus.

She decides to settle herself on the end of the bus and try to comprehend on her mind that she did spent a night with Kwon Yuri and everytime her mind wanders off to the things that they possibly did that night and she feels the heat immediately rushing through her face. She grabs her phone to see if there was anything odd with her physical appearance and saw that Yuri just posted a photo on her account. She taps the notification and immediately swallows a squeal when the picture of her crush
came into view.

Yulyuk: This day puts the 'good' in good morning. Happy weekend everyone!

"UH EXCUSE ME BUT YOU ACCIDENTALLY SLEPT WITH YOU?!"

"Look I know it's hard to believe but-"

"Uh yeah it does! It was just a month ago that you were endlessly talking about meeting them for the very first time in flesh but now you come at me and spill the tea that you had a one night stand with the love of your life A.K.A Kwon Y-"

"Ssssh!" She hisses. "Can you please calm down? Our neighbors might hear you!"

"Which is why I am speaking in english." She stands up from the sofa and walks infront of the latter side to side. "Wow I can't even imagine."

"Same." Jessica sighs. "I'm sorry for making you so worried. I didn't mean to."

"I was super worried to not see you. I already thought that Taecyeon did something bad and he already had his ways with you."

"I was so scared because I thought the same thing."

"But now you actually spent the night with Kwon Yuri you're not that freaked out?"

"I am still freaked out really. I'm even disappointed at myself for being so careless."

Tiffany sighs. "I want to be happy to somehow you ended up with a woman but you might've forgotten the fact that Yuri is one of the kids that participated on Project Gabriel."

"So what does that mean?"

"You're still not out of the woods Jessica Jung." Jessica connects her eyebrows already. "Okay, you know that Yuri is capable of giving you a child right?"

"That's crazy. Yuri could never do that."

"Really? How sure are you?" She squints her eyes, lowkey judging the other. "You're not sure if you guys did it or not."

"Done what?"

Tiffany sighs. "The position pabo! The one that could get you pregnant!"

"Whaaaat?"

"Ugh! This position!!!!" Tiffany did the scissoring with both of her hands.

"OH MY GOD!" Jessica immediately halts her best friend. "Of course we haven't done it!"

"How sure are you? Because the last time I checked, you were way too drunk and drugged to realize and remember things."

"Because we were both drunk and drugged. I doubt we have the strength to do it."

"But you managed to give some marks on Yuri's chest?" Tiffany teases, causing heat to rise up from Jessica's face. "SEE! You're wild on the bed!"

"Stop teasing me!" She slightly hits her with the pillow. "We haven't done that position I am sure of it."

"Ahuh..."

"Y-yah, are you saying to me that-"

"I'm saying that you need to recall those memories fast because if you really did it, you're gonna be in some big trouble girl."

"And that's how the story ends."

"Hold up, hold up. You're trying to say to me that you actually left with a different blonde chick last night?"

Right after checking out from the hotel, Yuri decided she really can't keep this to herself so she needed someone's advice. She also knows that Jessica would've probably told her roomate what happened so she figures that she would do the same thing. Thankfully though her bestfriend was available so she drives directly to her house and tells her some general parts of the story.
