The classes were back on, but they weren't mandatory, so if no one felt up to it, they didn't have to sit themselves down in a classroom setting to catch up on the work they hadn't been doing over the past two months. Kihyun decided that it was best if everyone tried their best to go though, it wouldn't hurt them and they could do with a little help in their classes. Somi had tried to sit in the classroom with the rest of her peers, to follow her normal timetable of classes, but it was hard when the people that didn't like her in the past seemed to dislike her even more for winning something that they didn't. It was already hard enough to brush off the acts committed in that time, they weren't achievements like Mr Kim had so adamantly stated them to be, they were burdens, Somi would even go to the length of saying they were sins. So she had to leave, she couldn't stay in the classroom with people muttering things under their breaths, all of them being heard by her, it added to the self hate that was developing and she had to try so hard not to flip her lid and lose control on someone in the room.

Her teacher didn't question it when she packed up and left the room, no one had to stay if they didn't want to, so Somi took off at a speed that would have been a blur to the human eye. But she knew she still had to finish her homework, refresh herself on the things she was previously learning and get used to being a high school student again. Somi took herself to the library instead, she didn't know where the other boys were, she knew if she tried looking for them, there would be some sort of pull that would take her to one of them. But the thought of walking into a classroom that wasn't hers was daunting, so the library was her best option at that moment, because if she went back to her dorm, she wouldn't be studying anymore that day. 

The noise in the library when she got there was nowhere near as loud as it would be on a typical day. Somi let out a long breath, hugged her books closer and walked through the first floor. Some of the usual trouble makers wandered around, but it wasn't the same as it was before. Somi started up the steps, her eyes trained on each step she placed her feet on until there was a thump and a familiar smell. Somi looked up, her lips automatically pulled into a small smile at the sight of the other boy standing before her in his school uniform.

"Changkyun" She greeted the boy that stood two steps in front of her. He smiled back, looking at ease with his school jumper underneath his jacket, something that would get him in trouble if a teacher were to see.

"Good morning Somi" He greeted her and Somi continued up the stairs.

"If I'm recalling correctly Changkyun, isn't this where I first met you?" Somi quizzed him and the smile slipped from Changkyun's lips as he pulled a face that showed he was deep in thought. That quickly changed to a pink shade blossoming on his cheeks with Changkyun adjusting the hood of his jumper around his neck.

"That's right" He nodded, smiling bashfully and Somi hummed.

"You were running around like a monkey again, weren't you Kyunie?" She let her head tilt as she looked at him knowingly.

"You can't be so sure of that" Changkyun argued, his tone defensive against her teasing.

"Oh, sure I can't" Somi rolled her eyes and pushed Changkyun to go up the rest of the stairs as she sarcastically nipped at him.

"I assume you've done no work then?" She raised her brow at him and Changykun looked back at her, gasping as he looked at her over his shoulder.

"You really go so far to assume such things about me? I thought you knew me better than that Somi!" He told her off and Somi gave him a blunt stare, nursing her books in her arms, before she moved her eyes over the room to find a table to sit at.

"You're avoiding telling me I'm correct, aren't you?" She asked him instead and Changkyun made a noise of protest as she began to walk away from him, he chased after her as Somi looked for the table that was hosting no one else for her to sit at. She found it, it was familiar and calming and she felt herself at ease when she set her books down across from a set of open books, a pencil case and other stray items. Three chairs were pushed away from the table in a familiar way and she could hear Hyungwon snoring, even with Changkyun in her ear, arguing defensively as she ignored him.

"You've done nothing as well, right Hyungwon?" She questioned the other boy and the snoring stopped.

"I've caught up on well deserved rest" Hyungwon's sleep ridden voice told her after a few seconds of silence where she waited for a response.

"Right, totally deserved" She rolled her eyes, pulling out her chair and sitting down.

"Did you bring any food with you?" Hyungwon inquired as he sat up, revealing his face puffy from sleep and his hair messed up, making Changkyun let out an ugly snort at the sight.

"No, because I knew you would eat it all if I did" She replied and Hyungwon groaned.

"I could get us some food" Changkyun offered.

"Maybe you should go get your books while you do that" Somi nodded as she got set up to study.

"Maybe I will" Changkyun stuck his tongue out at Somi as he got up again and Somi pulled a face back.

"Good"

"Good" Changkyun mimicked Somi's higher pitched voice and she grabbed her mini stapler, throwing it at him as he scurried away. Changkyun picked it up from the ground, shoving it in his pocket and waving as he disappeared back down the stairs.

"Pest" Somi grumbled and Hyungwon chortled in amusement as he lazily picked his pen up again.

"He's literally going to get us food" He reminded her and Somi paused.

"Good pest" She noted before diving into her work.

"Chae Hyungwon" All three looked up at the sound of the lazy boy's name, they blinked in confusion at the woman standing at the railing of the stairs, she looked up from her piece of paper and Hyungwon frowned.

"Why would she be looking for me?" Having heard him, just like they had been able to hear her over the distance, she looked to the group and walked over to them.

"Chae Hyungwon?" She asked them, looking between Changkyun and Hyungwon.

"Yes" Hyungwon replied and she looked at him.

"Han Somi?" She pointed her pen at Somi. She nodded and the lady wrote something down.

"And what about me?" Changkyun queried and she looked up at him.

"Your name?" She asked.

"Im Changkyun"

She looked stunned, her eyes going back to her piece of paper before she smiled.

"Well, I need all of you to come with me" She informed them but they all remained sitting, not following the ladies directions.

"Excuse me?" Hyungwon spoke up and the woman cleared .

"I am going around collecting the members of Monsta X, the winning group of this years race, there is an interview to be conducted" She filled in and the three looked between each other.

"I see" Hyungwon nodded, he closed his books and slowly put his things back in his pencil case and into his bag. Changkyun and Somi did the same once he began moving and they all stood up from their seats willingly, delighting the woman when they didn't put up a fight.

"If you would follow me" She nodded, turning on her feet to leave the library. They followed her over the floor and down the stairs until they were walking through the main halls of their school again. They stopped in front of a door and Somi realised that they were standing in the doorway to the front office, the door was opened and the woman that had directed them there gestured for them to enter the office. Hyungwon entered first with Changkyun then Somi falling behind him. She looked around at the big and open space, her eyes blinking as fell open.

"Yo" Minhyuk greeted them, making Somi's eyes snap from the ceiling down to where he was sitting in a desk chair, rocking side to side as he watched them. He smiled when they looked at him and the three of them walked further into the room, there were cameras with men standing behind them, setting them up and angling them. Hyungwon took a seat in the spinny chair next to Minhyuk and Changkyun pulled Somi along to join them.

"Can you sit your things at your feet? We don't want them in the shot" One of the cameramen requested and Somi dropped her books down in front of her feet under the table. The door opened again and Jooheon entered, looking around in confusion before relaxing when his eyes landed on the group gathering around the large dark wooden table.

"Honey" Changkyun cooed and Jooheon filed into the room and scurried over, dropping down next to Changkyun. Hoseok filed in next, then Kihyun with Hyunwoo only a few steps behind him. They sat around the table, waiting as the door remained closed for several minutes as the workers behind the cameras set them up fully and stepped away for the meantime. The door opened again and a group of familiar women walked in with the tools around their hips and bags in their hands. They swarmed around the members. They fixed the hair around their face and smeared makeup over their skin, trying to make them look like they weren't wearing any with the light touches of the brushes and their fingers. The bombardment had the members going stiff in their seats, but by the time the stylists and makeup artists slipped away, they all looked refreshed again.
