Jooheon pushed Somi back until she was sitting on her bed, there was a tense, persistent silence filling the room that none of them knew what to say or what to do to break it. Somi let out a bitter laugh that showed she was still full of betrayal, this time, she was the one disappointed. How had her parents turned into the people that had just been in front of her? When did everything change? Why couldn't they just stay home if they didn't want to talk to her in the first place?

"They're really gone" She choked out and Kihyun put a hand on her knee, pulling one of the chairs over so that he could sit in front of her.

"I'm sorry Somi," He breathed out, leaning forward to look her in the eyes when she lowered her head so her hair was covering her face, "I don't think anyone had any idea about what you were facing" He looked at the others, raising an eyebrow at Jooheon and the other male gestured, making a small fraction with his fingers, showing Kihyun he knew a little bit.

"No, don't be sorry about that, I never said anything to you, how were you to know? I should be apologising for the fact that you had to see that, but if you all didn't come in, they probably would have just kept saying worse and worse things until the doctor came back" She wiped under her eyes and Kihyun used his fingers under her chin to make her look up again. She looked at Hoseok, who shook his head and her eyes trailed to Hyunwoo who shrugged his shoulders when their eyes met.

"You don't need to apologise for what they did, you couldn't control anything they said or did or how it made you feel, really," Kihyun made Somi look at him again and he gave her a soft smile, "you chose how you responded, and now you'll choose where you'll go from here"

"Right now, the only place I want to go is home" She whimpered and Kihyun nodded.

"I know, but that's not for a few more hours yet," He told her and Somi's lips quivered, more tears streaming down her cheeks. Kihyun pulled her into a hug, that was when another sob pushed through Somi's lips. She shook, wrapping her arms around Kihyun. Jooheon joined the hug in a flash and Hoseok shuffled forward, sitting on the bed and wrapping his arms around the small huddle. Hyunwoo hesitantly moved forward and when Somi's eyes squeezed shut, tears still, leaking through, he put his hand on her head, ruffling her hair.

"It's alright," Kihyun soothed her as Somi took a shaky breath in only for her next breath out to come as a sob, "you've got us here, you're not alone"

"Hyungwon..." Somi couldn't really take in the sight before her, when she was told Minhyuk and Hyungwon were put in a room together because they needed tighter watch, it hadn't entirely clicked in her head just what that meant, not when she had seen them walking, looking no worse than herself when she last saw them. Laying flat in his bed, Hyungwon's head turned so that he could look at her, a smile pulling on his lips when their eyes met.

"Hey beautiful, I thought it was you I heard walking this way" He greeted her, Somi's cheeks naturally flushed at the complimentary name and her fingers fiddled in front of her.

"Yeah well, she's not here alone" Changkyun entered the room with a tray of food in his hand and Hyungwon's face scrunched up.

"So that's what that stench was" He scoffed before waving for them to enter the room.

"Minhyuk's peeing at the moment," He told them when they looked around to find their other friend.

"Oh"

"Why do you look like you've been crying?" Hyungwon looked at Somi again. His face had dropped its smile and Somi's eyes blinked in a flurry, still red from the crying done prior.

"Oh, it's nothing" Somi wiped under her eyes, making sure there were no tears left and sniffled, making sure her nose wasn't running.

"Really, it's fine" She reassured both the boys when Hyungwon and Changkyun continued to stare at her. She reached out and took Hyungwon's hand, making him look down, unable to hide how it tugged a smile at his lips when he saw her hand over his.

"You're always such a ert" Minhyuk shuffled out of the bathroom at that moment and the three of them flicked their heads to look at him.

"Minhyuk" Changkyun looked Minhyuk up and down, quickly rushing over with his hands out ready to help. Minhyuk waved him off and shook his head, continuing to awkwardly shuffle forward on his own, trying to move as little as possible until he was able to sit on his bed and then laying down, looking at them with a bitter smile on his face.

"Your eyes are so red, who made you cry?" He asked Somi and she shook her head in response, mumbling the same answer that she had given to Hyungwon, and Changkyun before that. It was quiet for a moment as Changkyun sighed and Somi looked down at her hand over Hyungwon's again, looking for a distraction.

"No way," Minhyuk suddenly spoke up, "did you bring us food?" He grinned and Somi looked up as Changkyun jumped into action once again.

"And you've made me wait this long holding onto this heavy tray?" He scoffed and Somi managed to pull a smile on her lips as Hyungwon groaned, trying to pull himself to sit up, his hand slipping out from under hers. Somi blinked, quickly changing places with Changkyun who moved to prepare the food so that she was closer to Hyungwon. She tucked her hands under his arms and pulled, making Hyungwon groan and scream out in horror.

"What are you doing?!" He demanded and Somi shrugged.

"You needed to sit up" She answered and Hyungwon shuffled, glaring and clucking his tongue at her.

"I'm a man, I can do that myself," He told her and Somi shrugged again.

"Well now you're up" She walked over to a table on wheels and rolled it over to Hyungwon's bed, sliding it over his lap as he grudgingly grabbed it, squinting at her.

"Hurry up"

"I'm trying!" Minhyuk barked, making Somi rush over. He received the same treatment as Hyungwon, making him wince, one hand covering his wound as the other aimed to slap Somi as she fluffed up his pillows so that he could lean against them.

"That's not something a girl should be doing!" He exclaimed and Somi hummed.

"Eat your food before I do"

"What is it?" Hyungwon grumbled at them and Changkyun took one of the bowls from the tray and took it over to his set up table.

"We saw your doctor on the way here and he said nothing too solid since we won't be used to food yet, so you've got chicken and vegetable soup" He beamed and Hyungwon narrowed his eyes at him.

"Well I want chicken noodle soup"

"That's why I brought you this instead" Changkyun put his hand on Hyungwon's shoulder and gave it a squeeze, only making Hyungwon more irritated.

"Be careful it's still hot" Somi rubbed her warm hands together after sitting the bowl down on the last portable table and sat it over Minhyuk's lap. She gave him a spoon and Minhyuk hummed, stirring the soup in front of him.

"Yes mum" He muttered before lifting the spoon and bowling on its contents, making eye contact with Somi as she shot him a murderous look that he didn't back down from.

"You know what, just for that, I hope you burn your tongue and you choke"

"That's a bit harsh to say to your child now isn't it mum?" Minhyuk niggled and Somi's hands to itched to pull on his hair. Minhyuk shot her a knowing smile and brought another spoonful of the soup to his lips, obnoxiously slurping on it just to terrorise Somi.

"Shut up and eat properly already" Somi snapped at him and Minhyuk chortled.

"Yes mum"

"You do one damn thing to help someone out and this is what you get in return" Somi walked away from Minhyuk's bed, grumbling under her breath as Minhyuk snickered.

"We're swapping" Somi demanded and Changkyun looked at her, humming as he nodded and turned his chair to shuffle over to Minhyuk.

"Are you seriously not eating because it's not chicken noodle soup?" Somi stirred Hyungwon's food and the boy shook his head in response.

"I was waiting for you to feed me the soup mum" He responded and the spoon clanged against the bowl.

"You know what? I think I might just go and see where the others are" She decided aloud and Hyungwon clapped his hands, laughing as Somi stood up and walked out of Minhyuk and Hyungwon's shared room.

"We're leaving?" He looked up and Jooheon nodded, pulling up the sheets on the bed he had been using as he sat up.

"Yeah, Hoseok just told me we've got the clearance to go home now," Jooheon told him and he yawned.

"Finally" Changkyun stood up and began fixing the bed like Jooheon was.

"I know" Jooheon breathed out, moving onto changing out of the slippers he had been given for his sneakers instead. Once Changkyun had done the same, they left the room in favour of finding their way to the others so they could all leave together. They walked out into the hall, looking to the left and to the right, looking for anyone they knew.
