Kihyun is gone, but Somi still sees him every day, she just wished that they could too.

For all twenty-two years of her life, Han Somi had been different from everyone around her. Those that others couldn't see, Han Somi could. So when her long term best friend Yoo Kihyun approached her at the tender age of eighteen, looking different to his normal sunshine filled self, Somi's whole world had fallen apart. 

That was the day Yoo Kihyun told Han Somi he had taken his own life.

Han Somi had lost her best friend and nothing was the same since, with Kihyun gone, all of her other friends seemed to leave her too. Come graduation, Somi only had one close friend to celebrate with when she used to be able to count ten.

Now life was lonely. It could have been worse, she could have been born differently and had no idea that Kihyun spent each passing day with her.

But it was never easy to wake up to the daily reminder that your best friend was dead.
