MinSeok and ByungChul were together enjoying a peaceful game of chess when the phone ringed, echoing into the quiet room. It was MinSeok who took out his phone and answered with a calm voice

“Have you completed the task?” he asked

It took Boa a few seconds to answer as if she was still a little shaken of what just took place “Yes…it’s completed….however….”

Upon her pause, MinSeok’s eyebrow twitched a little wondering what could have happen “What is it?”

“Yunho and his bride jumped of the cliff and disappeared into the sea…I had sent the hunters to go down and search but could not locate them…”

Upon this news, MinSeok didn’t seem to mind that their target has disappeared, he was calm like before and his tone of voice does not have any hint of anger “is that all?”

Boa hesitated a bit before continuing “There….is one more thing….” She paused a bit before turning her gaze to Changmin who is now unconscious on the ground “The young master is also here….”

The mention of Changmin being there surprised MinSeok, the odd of him ending up at the same place as them is unlikely “how is he there?”

“I’m not sure either….while we were fighting…he suddenly appeared…once he saw Yunho and his bride fall of the cliff, he went on a rampage….I had no choice but to subdue him….”

“Is the young master injured?”

“No….just unconscious for the time being….what do you want me to do?” she asked

MinSeok thought for a while before speaking “the task is already completed, there is no point in wasting anymore time…the dragon and his bride will eventually return so we just wait…for the time being, return to the house…bring the young master back to the main house and let Yonghwa deal with it….”

“Very well…we shall return then…”

With that being said, Boa hangs up the phone before glancing at changmin and then turning her attention to the bottom of the cliff. She can feel the strong gust of wind from below, hear the loud splashing of waves before feeling her chest become tighter as her heart ached. Just remembering Yunho falling off of the cliff nearly sends her into a panic, making her lose her control as she almost ran over and scream his name. She closed her eyes reminded her self why she is doing this and that Yunho is her enemy, she took a deep breath before turning around and walked away

“Let’s go…” she spoke softly as the other hunters pick up changmin and followed her back into the shadows of the trees.

MinSeok was silent after speaking on the phone that ByungChul had to ask “What happen?”

His voice broke MinSeok’s train of thoughts as his lip curved into a smile “It’s nothing to worry about…just some unexpected things happen but….it will not hinder our plan”

“So what next?” ByungChul asked

“We wait….”

ByungChul only raised an eyebrow at MinSeok as he felt his patient growing thin. It seemed that all they have been doing is wait, wait for what? For the opportunity to slip them by? Wait for the dragon to come knocking on their door? If he wasn’t relying so heavily on MinSeok to obtain the bridal heart, he wouldn’t be wasting his time here playing chess. None the less, he sigh

“What about the young master? I heard that he has been going around questioning other family members and even hunters….a few people had already disappear by his hand….”

“Until we know what kind of strength or power he has obtained….it’s best not to make so much movement….”

“If we wait….wouldn’t we lose our support? If changmin continues to get rid of family members…we will eventually have a delay in our plan”

“Let him do what he wants to do…if we try to stop him or make a movement…he will pick up on it and then our plan will for sure fail….he isn’t as simple or dumb like before….he has gotten smarter….so will have to treat him differently….”

ByungChul couldn’t help but sigh once more, he wondered if teaming up with MinSeok was the right choice to make. All he wanted is the dragon heart…all he desired is to become immortal….but helping MinSeok, He felt like his day of being immortal has become longer. Nonetheless, to back out now will only make things more troublesome…it is better to be an ally than an enemy of this mad man.

Meanwhile in the cavern Jaejoong is faced with an unusual and strange Yunho who seem to have completely lost his mind. He struggled to free from Yunho’s grasp but the more he struggle, the harder Yunho grip on his shoulder sending pain into his body.

“YAH YUNHO! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?!” jaejoong shouted as he tried to push Yunho off of him but it was no use. No matter what he does, he couldn’t break free. Yunho is sitting on top of him with both of his arms pushing down on his shoulders.

“Mine….” Yunho spoke in a cold and unfamiliar deep tone of voice

“What?” jaejoong stop struggling as he glaze at Yunho and stares into those two black eyes that reflected no lights

“You are mine….” He spoke once more

This sends a chill throughout jaejoong’s body as he is reminded of what Yunho had said before upon the cliff when they were arguing.

“You belong to me….no one else can take you from me….nor can you escape from my line of sight….” Yunho spoke once more as all jaejoong’s red flags begin to go off feeling like this has become a dangerous situation. Before jaejoong could say anything, Yunho’s hand move from his shoulder and slowly move toward his slender white neck “If you don’t want me….I’ll just kill you”

Suddenly jaejoong felt tightness around his neck as his air way became restricted and more pain entered his body.

“Yunho…you…!!” he couldn’t even finish his sentence as the grip became tighter causing him to cough and gasp for air.

“I’ll kill you….if you don’t stay with me….I’ll kill you…” Yunho continue to speak these words as jaejoong struggle to free himself. He tried to punch Yunho, tried to remove Yunho’s hand from his neck but it all failed. Every move he makes, Yunho was like a heavy stone refusing to move an inch. Jaejoong coughed and gasp for air as he felt his vision starting to blur. Just then Yunho leans down toward him until their faces are only a few inches apart. His lip curved into a sinister smile as if he enjoy seeing jaejoong suffered

“Beautiful…..you are so beautiful…..you are mine….forever….” Yunho spoke these words before releasing Jaejoong’s neck but then grabbing onto both side of his face. Jaejoong was still trying to catch his breath as he is panting and coughing when suddenly Yunho slammed his lips against his forcing an aggressive kiss. Jaejoong’s eyes widen in complete shock and disbelief. He immediately struggle but like before, Yunho refuse to budge.

“Yunho you….what are you…mnnn….let….” he tried to speak but every time he is given a short break to breathe, Yunho will once again lock his lips causing him to snort and moan. After tasting the sweetness of these two pink lips, Yunho wanted more. He used his tongue to pray open jaejoong’s mouth to further explore the inside. This startled jaejoong even more as he did the only thing he could think off and that is to bite Yunho’s tongue. Upon the suddenly pain, Yunho jerked back breaking the kiss. Jaejoong took the opportunity as he manages to squeeze out one of his leg and kick Yunho in the chest. This violent force caused Yunho to fall back before slamming his head against the wall. Filled with rage, Jaejoong quickly stood up, jump at Yunho, grab his shirt collar and was about to punch him into a bloody mess when Yunho spoke

“What is wrong with you?!”

His voice had returned to normal as he groan from the pain on his back and his head causing jaejoong to pause his fist in midair “I’m already injured, trying to heal my wound so we can get out of here and you decided to kick me? For what reason? Are you still upset about earlier?” suddenly he felt a sharp pain inside his mouth as he tasted a bit of blood “You even made me bite my tongue…”

Upon seeing the normal light reflecting in Yunho’s eyes, Jaejoong released him. However, he is still sitting above him, unmoved, gasping and panting as his lip has become more red and swollen from the forceful kiss. His body was still shaking from being strangled as he tried to figure out what exactly is going on. At this moment Yunho look up at jaejoong and noticed the strange look on his face. It was a mix of confusion, fear and pain as the color of his face had become pale

“What is it? You look like you just seen a ghost?” ask Yunho

Jaejoong didn’t say anything, upon his silence and the terrify look on his face, Yunho figure something must be wrong. He quickly lean forward causing jaejoong to fall back on his with a concern look on his face

“What’s wrong? Are you hurt somewhere? Are you uncomfortable? Let me take a look” Yunho reach out to jaejoong and begin to examine him. Jaejoong on the other hand didn’t refuse or do anything, he only sat there as his heart is beating very fast and his mind is going crazy. This Yunho right before him is normal, he talks normal and the light in his eyes has return to normal, it is no longer pitch darkness. But does that mean what happen earlier was just a dream? Yunho didn’t suddenly turn into a psycho? Jaejoong truly thought it was him who had lost his mind but then the throbbing pain in his neck and the sensation on his lips were still there, meaning it wasn’t a dream or that he had gone crazy. If this is the case, what the hell just happen?

“Jaejoong….are you okay?” Yunho asked him with a worried look on his face

After another moment of silence, Jaejoong slowly shook his head “its…it’s nothing….”

He figures its best not to mention what just happen to Yunho. One reason was because he isn’t sure if what took place really did happen and second reason was because of the kiss. To tell Yunho that he pin him on the ground and kissed him is just too embarrassing to say.

“Are you sure? If you are hurting somewhere….tell me….could it be that your heart is still hearting?” Yunho asked

Jaejoong shook his head again “No….it’s really nothing….” He tried to smile

Yunho of course felt like something is still wrong, as if jaejoong is hiding something from him. But he didn’t want to force him to say anything if he doesn’t want to. He could only give up or else further pestering will only anger his bride.

“Alright….but if you are hurting somewhere….please don’t hide it….let me know…” said Yunho with caring and affectionate eyes.

“The one who is hurting isn’t me but you…how is your wound?” jaejoong asked after he had calmed his body and mind.

“I can feel it starting to heal a bit…so it should be fine later…once the wound has completely heal…I’ll take us out of here…so please be patient”

Jaejoong could only nod his head. Yunho return to the wall and sat down once more still feeling the back of his head throbbing and his tongue aching. He knew jaejoong was violent but to kick him causing more injuries without any proper reason is unbelievable. He reached to touch his lips and couldn’t explain the reason behind it throbbing with such a strange and hot sensation. He wondered if he had bitten his lip as well when he was kicked. Jaejoong sat on the ground for a few minutes before standing up and felt his leg become weak but he still forced himself to walk a few feet away and sat down

“Why are you sitting so far away?” Yunho asked with one of his brows raised

“I…I find this spot very comfortable….”

Yunho only give him a strange look before closing his eyes to concentrate on healing his wound. Jaejoong sat in a position where he could clearly see Yunho and with this distance it will give him a chance to escape if Yunho were to act up again. But now the questions here is why did Yunho suddenly acted that way? One moment he was completely fine and then out of the blue, he turn into a man who had lost his mind. He recalls the blackness in Yunho’s eyes, it was dark and chilling to look at. The expression on his face were also frightful as that sinister smile is now imprinted into his mind. He reached to touch his still swollen lips as both pain and pleasure seem to mix together confusing him even more.

“Did something happen to Yunho while I was unconscious earlier?” he wondered remembering how Yunho had awaken before he did when they came to this cavern. He then look around at his surrounding with more caution “or could it be that something here is causing him to act strange?”

Both Yunho and Jaejoong sat in the cavern far apart from each other, not saying a word to one another. Once again quietness filled the room except for the dripping of water around them. It was Yunho who made a movement first causing Jaejoong to jump a little. Yunho noticed his strange behavior and only raised his eyebrow before walking over to him. He bends down in front of him and reach out to him. Jaejoong quickly stiffens upon seeing his hand reach out as he unconsciously move back a little.

“Seriously…what is wrong with you? Why are you suddenly so jumpy?” Yunho question him

“It’s…it’s nothing…Just…just a little cold?” Jaejoong forced a smile

Yunho look at him upon the word ‘cold’ before reaching out once more to grasp jaejoong’s hand. He frowned upon how cold his fingers has become, it was almost like touching ice.

“W-what are you doing?” Jaejoong asked seeing Yunho made some movement on his hand

“Just be quiet…” Yunho spoke softly to him

A minute later jaejoong felt an over whelming warmth traveling from the hand in Yunho’s grasp up to his arm and quickly spread throughout his body. The cold and numbness he felt earlier had disappeared and now he felt like he is standing under the hot warm sun. Even the wet and cold clothes hanging tightly upon his body was no longer a bother.

“What…is this?” he asked

Yunho released his hand “This is my flow of energy….it is what keeps us dragon warm during cold season….due to this I didn’t realize how cold this place was until I felt your hand….you should have told me sooner instead of suffering the cold….”

Jaejoong only lower his gaze accepting the warmth in his body as his lip slowly curved into a smile. Upon seeing this Yunho quickly stood up and coughed “it…it looks like my wound has started to heal….we have been in here for a while now, it should be save at this time….so let’s get out…”

Upon the mentioning of leaving this place, jaejoong was more than ready to get out. He made a mental note to talk to Yoochun about what happen here excluding the kiss of course. He wants to understand what could possibly made Yunho to acted in such a violent way. He stood up as they walked toward the large lake. Suddenly Yunho felt a little light headed as he stumbles a bit.

“What’s wrong?” Jaejoong asked

“It’s nothing…” Yunho smile at him before taking another steps forward “the ground is uneven…be careful not to trip…”

However after a few more steps he felt his body become heavy as he quickly leans on one of the large rock to support his body. He looks at the ground and see his vision become distorted as if the ground is moving on its own. Upon seeing him swaying a little jaejoong quickly came to the front of him

“Are you okay?”

“I…don’t know….I’m…suddenly….feeling weird….”

Upon these words, jaejoong end up moving back a bit incase Yunho were to go psycho on him again. This time he will not let down his guard and will be ready to fight if he had to. But there was no abnormal movement from Yunho, he only continued to lean on the large rock, holding his head. Feeling like there wasn’t any danger, jaejoong took a step forward. Thanks to the light from the lake, he was able to make out the expression on Yunho’s face. Even though Yunho’s skin isn’t as pale as his, he could see a light pink color on the cheek. He reached out his hand and touched Yunho on the forehead and felt it warmer than usual.

“Yunho…you…I think you have a fever…”

“It’s alright….we will need to get out of here first…” said Yunho as he forced his body to be stable and took a few more steps forward.

Jaejoong grabbed on to him and pulls him back “Yunho….if you get back in that cold water….it would make the fever worst….you are not in a stable state to take us out of here…”

“Don’t worry…I’ll be fine….”

“No you are not fine!” Jaejoong snapped “First you need to lay down and rest…the way things are now…there is no way we can leave here….”

Yunho shook his head “This place is cold….the flow of energy to keep you warm is only temporary….if it runs out….the way I am now…I won’t be able to give you any more energy to keep you warm….you will end up freezing in here….”

“Don’t worry about me….right now the one who needs help is you…”

“But…”

“Enough! Why do you always want to argue with me about every single thing?! Do you want me to repeat everything I had just yelled at you about earlier?!”

Upon his rage, Yunho closed his lip no longer allowing another word slip through his mouth. Jaejoong helped him sit down as he leans against the large rock. Yunho didn’t want to show any weakness in front of jaejoong but this uncomfortable feeling was making it hard to keep himself under control. Jaejoong could only look at Yunho helplessly unsure of what to do. What can one person do in a cavern surrounded by nothing by water and rocks? It’s not like he can find help here or find any medicine to give him.

“Yunho…do you feel cold?” jaejoong asked

Yunho shook his head as Jaejoong figures it must be due to the energy flow in Yunho to keep him from shivering which is a good thing. If he was cold, jaejoong wasn’t exactly sure how to build a fire without anything to burn with nor does he have any matches.

“Why don’t you stay here…I’ll swim out to get help…”

Yunho of course objected to that idea “The underwater tunnel is long….with the speed of human…I’m afraid you will run out of breath before you reach the surface…”

Jaejoong frowned before looking around desperately. He turn his gaze back to Yunho and he was making a very uncomfortable and painful expression.

“Yunho….how….how can I help you? What do you dragon usually do when they get sick?”

“Just….let me rest a bit….”

“Rest? Is that all?”

Yunho didn’t want jaejoong to worried or panic so all he could say was that he needed rest.

“Alright….then rest you shall…” said jaejoong as he helped Yunho to move his body and have him lie on his back. But then Yunho was taken by surprise when the back of his head is pressed against jaejoong’s slender thigh “Just rest….don’t worry about anything else…”

Surprisingly this carrying nature of jaejoong was comforting, even lying in this position with his head resting upon his thigh wasn’t so bad. Being this close to this person without having any argument give him a peace of mind that the pains he is feeling was no longer a bother.

“Everything will be alright Yunho….just concentrate on your healing….just get better alright”

Jaejoong’s voice was soft and gentle as he felt a warm hand his head as his eyes became heavy and he drifted to sleep. Jaejoong could tell Yunho was exhausted and weak, he couldn’t help but be concern. They have been together for some time now and he had never seen Yunho look this frail. He had been injured a few times but he always bounced back with a strong spirit. So what could have been different this time around? How could such a powerful and strong dragon suddenly become ill? He was thinking about the wound Yunho had suffered as he touched where the arrow struck him. He felt his hand touching something wet and felt it different from touching water. He lifted his hand and notice the red crimson color. From the look of it, it was fresh as if the wound Yunho stated has healed was in fact still open and bleeding.

“Could it be that he isn’t healing and was just putting up a strong front?” wondered jaejoong who has become even more concern “We…can’t stay here….Yunho need treatment…but…how can I get us out of here….he stated that the only exit is the way we came from…” he turn his gaze to the large lake as the light emitting from it making it a beautiful picture has suddenly become very grim.

Meanwhile, Junsu and MinJun is sitting in a room located inside a busy karaoke bar. As the employee closed the door, junsu turn to Minjun

“Why here?”

“This place is sound proof…whatever we discuss will not be heard…”

Junsu wasn’t so sure about that cause he can clearly hear other people singing with passion from the room next to them and concluded this person must be tone death.

“Please sit…I’ll tell you everything that is going on within the shim household while you were away…”

Junsu walked over and sat across from Minjun “your expression is telling me that whatever is going on is very serious….”

Minjun could only sigh “It’s far more serious…in fact…it has become horrifying….”

“What do you mean?”

“Ever since the young master took over as the lead of the shim household…he has gone through a change…you probably already knew that…”

Junsu nodded his head

“A few days ago…a huge fight broke out between hunters and the shadow dragons…we were ordered to subdue him and bring him in….but of course things didn’t go as planned….the shadow dragon ends up killing himself in order to escape captivity…ever since that day….the young master seem to have changed….”

“What do you mean?”

“I’m not sure how to explain it but the air around him seem to have gotten colder….more darker….he started to act strange…make decisions that are having people turning heads….rather than focusing on hunting the dragon and the bride…he was very concentrated on the shim family instead….recently he stated how he is going to make some changes to the family before putting a plan to hunt the dragon….he stated how he will get rid of thorns and what he doesn’t see as valuable will be removed….and well….these couple of days….family members and dragon hunters have vanished….”

This surprised Junsu, he never expected to hear anything like this. It was as if Minjun is telling him a horror story.

“That…that can’t be changmin’s doing….he….he isn’t like that…it’s not in his characteristics to harm others…”

“I thought of the same thing as well….I wanted to believe that it has nothing to do with the young master….but the other day….I saw a hunter being beaten and dragged into the study room where the young master is usually in….there were some noises…I wasn’t close enough to hear what was being discussed but when the hunter was dragged out, the expression on his face was strange. It was as if his mind has completely been destroyed….”

No matter what Minjun said, Junsu just couldn’t believe that his younger brother will be responsible for this kind of action. For one thing, changmin is a normal human being, there is no way he could destroyed a person’s mind. But if it really is his doing then what could have prompted him to act this way….what could he hope to achieve by doing something like this?

“I have a feeling that…there will be a struggle within the household Junsu shi….with people disappearing…other family members are questioning his motive….some are mobilizing to try and get rid of him….it’s as if the family that was once a whole has been divided into two…if this continues….I fear the young master will completely loose himself and even his life will be in great danger….I can’t help him given my position….but…I’m hoping you as his older brother could….”

Junsu look at Minjun before lowering his gaze. Even if he wanted to help, what could he do? He can’t enter the household like before. It has already been known that he is a traitor who had sided with the dragons. Would changmin even listen to him if he were to try to stop him?

“I can’t guarantee that I could help him…”

“Even so…you probably can accomplish more than me….”

Junsu paused a bit and begin to think more about that matter. From previous experiences…it sounded like changmin was going to follow their grandfather’s footsteps and hunt for the dragon bride to harvest his heart….it seems like he had decided to become their enemy, throwing away the long friendship he had with jaejoong. But what could have drove him to turn his target on his own family. What does he hope to accomplish by doing something like this? The more pressing question here is how is he able to destroy a person’s mind? There too much questions that needed to be answer, even though junsu isn’t exactly sure of what to do, he can’t sit around and allow this to continue. He will need to get the answer directly from his younger brother.

“Very well…..I’ll do what I can….but….I will need your help getting into the shim’s main house…”

“Of course….”

Junsu thought they were done but from the look on Minjun’s face, this wasn’t the only issue to be discussed.

“What else is there?”

Minjun hesitated a bit before speaking “There….is something strange going on from the lower branch of the shim family….there are a lot of movements there that are questionable….”

As the sky became darker, changmin awoken and found himself in a familiar room. He recognized the color of the ceiling and the fragrances of this room. He forced his body to sit up and felt a light pain on his head. He tried to recall what had happen when he remembered that jaejoong was had fallen off of the cliff. He immediately jump out of bed and rushed toward the door to go look for him but he ends up meeting YongHwa at the door.

“Young master…what’s wrong?”

Changmin only glared at him who is clearly blocking his way “Move…I have to go find jaejoong…”

“The bride? Are you planning to go after his heart?”

Changmin’s glare became cold and freezing “Get out of my way…”

“But young master….are you sure you want to go out dressing like that?”

He paused upon Yonghwa’s words as he look at his clothing and noticed that he was wearing the clothes that he usually wore to bed.

“Yonghwa….what time is it?”

“It’s a little pass 9 pm…”

“9?...” changmin turn his gaze to his bedroom a little confuse how he ended up back here. He thought for sure he was on the cliff witnessing jaejoong and Yunho fall. But he is clearly dressed for bed, could it be a dream?

“Is something wrong?”

“YongHwa…I’m going to ask you a question…it might sound strange but I want your honest answer…”

“Of course….”

“Was….I here the entire time?”

“You were in the office for a while….you became tired and even skipped dinner to go to bed early….I figure I come to check on you…”

Changmin begin to think….he does remember being at the office….tapping into the mind of the hunter….he does remember feeling tire and light headed…could it be that he did retire to bed early?

“You…don’t seem too good…should I bring you some medicine?”

“No need….I’ll just go back and rest…you also retire and don’t disturb me”

“Yes…”

Changmin stood at the door and watch YongHwa leave before closing the door in his room. He walked back to the bed and sat down but still felted like something isn’t right. But he also can’t explain how he ended up here in his bed sleeping. No matter what he try to recall…he couldn’t seem to remember what happen after he left the office. The pain from his head was making it hard for him to think clearly as he pushed it aside. He turn his gaze toward the window and look at the darkness outside hoping that what he witness was just a nightmare.

Yunho was still sleeping soundlessly upon jaejoong’s thigh not making any type of movement. Jaejoong was also starting to feel tire and wanted to close his eyes but every time he is about to go into dream land, he quickly wakes up. He reminded himself that he can’t fall asleep…he needs to monitor Yunho in case he has any difficulties. Even though he offered his leg as a pillow for Yunho to rest, he could feel it going numb and starting to cramp up making it uncomfortable. All he could do is endure it for the time being. Yunho who was asleep suddenly begin to hear a soft song echoing into his head slowly waking him. The song was nice, the voice that sings it was soothing and gentle.

“What is the name of that song?” Yunho spoke without opening his eyes

“Sorry…did I woke you?”

“It’s alright….”

Jaejoong lifted his head to look at the rocky ceiling above them “I’m not exactly sure the name of the song….I kept dreaming about my parents and remembers my mom sing this song to me as a child…”

Yunho became quiet for a moment before speaking “My mother use to sing to me as well…her voice was beautiful….a lot of people love to hear her sing especially my father….but….so many centuries has passed…I could no longer remember the songs she sing or how her voice sounds like….”

This jolted the memory of Yunho’s childhood that jaejoong was able to witness, the cruel death of his mother replayed in his mind filling him with sorrow. Now that he thinks about, they both lost their parent. But compare to how his parent passed, Yunho’s experience is far worst.

“How…are you feeling?” jaejoong asked wanting to change the topic

“Much better now…”

“That’s good…” said jaejoong full of relief

“Thank you…” said Yunho

“For what?”

“For everything….”

Jaejoong wasn’t use to this gentle side of Yunho as it felted strange “well…you have helped me a lot too…consider it as me checking off one of the debt I owe you…”

“I don’t know if I should be offended by the fact that you treated my protection as a debt instead of good will…”

Jaejoong only smirked “I always pay back what people give…if they treat me well…I’ll treat them well…if they do something good for me…I always makes sure to repay it….if they fight me….I’ll also return it but by 10 folds…”

Yunho chuckled which was even more astonishing…jaejoong wasn’t sure if it was due to this fever that is making Yunho soft but that chuckle wasn’t bad.

“Instead being serious and uptight all the time…you should try to relax more and laugh sometime…”

Yunho didn’t say anything regarding that comment, instead he continues to relax. Suddenly they both heard something coming from the large lake. They turn their attention and noticed large bubbles beginning to appear at the surface alarming them. Yunho still feeling weak quickly got up but he could barely support his body.

“Do...you think it’s the dragon hunters?” jaejoong asked

“I’m not sure…my senses are off…”

The bubbles became more frequent as large ripples begin to appear. Yunho placed his hand in front of Jaejoong ready to fight if it comes down to it. However, a few minutes later, the bubbles disappear and the ripples vanished. The surface of the lake became clear and untouched once more. Jaejoong and Yunho could only exchange glances when suddenly something burst from the middle of the lake causing the water to shoot into the air with great force. After the water had returned to the lake, a clear voice echoed into the cavern

“You two really knows how to give me trouble” came Yoochun’s voice as he looked down toward Yunho and jaejoong

Upon seeing a familiar face, Yunho and jaejoong were relieved cause now they can finally leave this god forsake place. Due to Yoochun’s help, they were escape from the cavern and returned back to the apartment. Jaejoong was more than happy to get into the shower and stand under the warm water washing away all the coldness on his body. In the meantime, Yoochun tends to Yunho’s condition

“How exactly did you two end up in there anyway?” he asked helping Yunho remove his shirt to see the damage

“Jaejoong sneaked out of the apartment so I followed him…we both…end up arguing again and that’s when Boa appeared…we…got into a fight and well…jaejoong and I ends up falling off of the cliff. To insure our safety, I took us into that cavern to hide….”

“Then why didn’t you just leave instead of calling me to come look for you?”

“You can clearly see the reason why…”

Yoochun paused before letting out a heavy sigh “Why didn’t you send me a signal sooner….I could have helped…”

“Well…you were too into the human drama so I didn’t want to disturb you…”

Yoochun became a bit annoyed “oi…drama isn’t anything compare to the life of my future king and his bride…”

“Okay…okay…I’ll contact you sooner if something does happen…”

Yoochun was satisfied with that as he turn his attention to the arrow wound on Yunho’s shoulder. He was relieved that both Yunho and jaejoong are fine and the tense atmosphere that he had with them has disappeared. With a towel he was about to wipe away the blood when what he saw stunned him. The wound was black as the color slowly fades out creating dark vein like patterns stretching from the small gaping hole.

The expression on Yoochun changed for the worst “Yunho…this…this…it isn’t just an arrow wound…it’s….in infestation of the blood stream….”
