OH MY GOD!!! I'M SOOOOOO SOOORRRRYYYY!!! for my lack of updates...life has become very hectic and stressful recently with my dad's health not being the best going in and out of hospital and going through chemo...work has also become busy....and not to mention I had issues logging into my account!....but now that stress has decreased.....and I have been refreshed....I am back to writing this story once more!!! Thank you everyone for being patient...I know for me to just disappeared got you all worried but don't worry...I don't plan to abandon this story :)

Chapter 25

The deadly ray that was supposed to have turned half the city into ashes ends shooting right into the sky forcing the dark clouds to part way. It was strong enough to stop the rains for a mere 2 minutes before the city is once again shrouded in shadows and wetness. The strong gust of wind that took the place of the ray still did a great number of damages as the city became a complete mess. It looks as if a tornado had just struck the city.

“It’s the blue dragon!” one of the hunters shouted in shock

Upon the appearance of Yunho, the others became uneasy and fearful. A few of them were there when Yunho destroyed the Shim mansion and to see him again only reminded them of just how powerful he really is. Changmin on the other hand gazes at the two dragons with the utmost fascination. He could barely tear is eyes away from them. It was like a dream come true, a wish, a desire that he had since he was a child. Unlike the others who had on an expression of fear and nervousness, he had on a large smile with eyes that seem to sparkle. He couldn’t help but wish his grandfather could see what he is seeing right now. These two aren’t regular dragons but it’s the fact that these two are from two legendary and powerful clans that really struck him deep.

“CHANGMIN!”

Upon his name being called out in rage he turns toward his right but before he could even see who had called out to him, he felt something struck him on the cheek. The force causes him to stumble backward a few steps as his cheek started to throb painfully. At this moment he knew who had hit him. This however didn’t surprise him. He could taste the metallic of blood inside his mouth. The force of the hit must have cut open a wound from inside. Rather than angry, nervous or scare, his lip only curves into a smile as he laid eyes upon the beautiful man who had struck him. However Jaejoong was panting, gasping with an expression of pain. The flower symbol upon his chest was still glowing resonating with the blue scaled dragon. From the look of it, he probably won’t even be able to fight in the state he is in. he must have use up whatever energy he had left to punch changmin. Upon noticing their young master in being attack, a few hunters notice quickly gathers around Jaejoong attempting to attack Jaejoong. Changmin gestures for them to stand down instead as he steps forward toward jaejoong standing just a foot away. He knew jaejoong won’t be able to do anything further as long as Yunho still in his dragon form. He messages his cheek before regaining his composure.

“You really don’t hold back do you?” Changmin ask trying to put up a strong front

“Hold back? Why should I hold back? To be honest I wanted to bury you right now” glare jaejoong

Changmin only smile hiding the pain he feels inside “Just so there isn’t any misunderstanding…..I did not kill her…”

“oh really? if you didn’t then who did?!”

Changmin only sigh before shrugging his shoulder “who knows…”

This answer only made jaejoong angrier. He wanted to throw another punch at changmin but the pain throbbing inside him was too strong. It had completely decreased his strength as he felt his leg becoming noodle like. He found it hard to even breathe properly without every breath feeling like a knife being stab into his flesh. He ends up falling forward as he grabs onto Changmin tightly.

“Why…why are you doing this?” jaejoong asked between painful breath

“This is fate….we can’t go against it…”

“Bull!! Don’t give me the fate talk! Tell me the truth Changmin ah! Why are you doing this?! Is it because of your grandfather? Is it because you are born of blood from generation of dragon hunters?! Is it because of this that you have chosen to throw everything away and kill an innocent person?!”

Changmin pauses a bit trying to control his own emotion. If he let himself lose control…loose the mask that he had decided to put on, he would put this man he love in greater danger. He grabs unto jaejoong and with a cold expression, he pushes him away toward the other hunters who quickly grab onto him. Jaejoong lifts his gaze to meet Changmin’s eyes and it surprises him just how cold those once bright and friendly eyes has become. It was as if a completely different person now stands before him with the same body but different soul.

“Indeed it is because I possess blood of a dragon hunter….but it wasn’t this alone that influenced my decision….”

“Then what else could it be?”

Changmin resist the urge to blurt out that the other reason was because he loves jaejoong, he envies the fact that Yunho had made him his before he could, or the fact that this is the only way he could protect him “You don’t need to know my reasons for my decisions….”

Jaejoong glares at Changmin as he clenches his hand into a fist. He attempts to break free of the hold but the hunters held him down.

“Don’t worry…I don’t plan to kill you yet…so stay put” changmin spoke with as he turns his gaze back to the two dragons before him waiting to see what will happen next. He couldn’t help but get excited upon the thought that maybe he will witness a powerful fight between these two legendary beasts.

Soonjae glowers at Yunho with anger as his eyes reflected an intense purple color. He bears his teeth at him like facing an enemy.

“Do not interfere…!” SoonJae’s loud voice ring through the air shaking the very foundation the city is built upon

“Stay calm…” Yunho spoke

This only made SoonJae even angrier as he let out a loud roar that shook the whole city once more “Stay calm?! Do you really expect me to listen to you and stay calm after what they did?!”

Yunho slightly turn his gaze and looks down to see Shinhye lying on the cold wet ground in crimson redness. It is as he had expected, Shinhye had a connection to SoonJae but he never expected that this shadow dragon will take in a human.

“I understand your pain but a majority of the people who live here are innocent people!”

“DON’T YOU DARE TALK TO ME ABOUT INNOCENT!” SoonJae roared “You know it as much as I how horrible human are….they are the destruction of everything that lives and breathes….they show no mercy….no sympathy…..they don’t have any honor or respect! They only know how to kill….to humiliates…and to take….such race should have been annihilated long ago!!”

Yunho didn’t say anything as he half agree that human who are small in size can be quite the dangerous race. However he still thinks that only those who have sinned should be punish while those who are innocent should not be harm.

“Do not try to stop me …you may be the heir to the throne….the last remaining dragon of the deep blue race….but you do not govern me….I will do what should have been done from the beginning…and I will start with this city!”

Yunho remain quiet as he closes his eyes as his body is wraps in a beautiful blue light. He returns to his human form as a gesture that he wishes not to fight against SoonJae. He open his eyes as it shine a golden light and look directly at SoonJae.

“Alright…” he finally spoke softly a bit startling SoonJae “Do what you need to do….I will not stand in your way anymore…I will not stop you…you can kill as many as you wishes…destroy as many city as you desire….you can rip apart this entire world if you want and I will not lift a finger or speak a word…”

SoonJae who was filled with anger has started to calm a little as he wonders what Yunho is trying to do. He just spoke of killing all these people, destroying this city and yet Yunho say he will not interfere which to Soonjae is a little strange.

“I will not fight you...it’s not like I have the ability to anyway…if I were to go against you…surely I will lose…if not…I will lose someone important to me…” said Yunho

SoonJae looks down at jaejoong and see his complexation become pale with a pained expression as the flower symbol still shines but it has faded a bit.

“Just know this…” said Yunho “even if you destroyed this world…even if you are able to completely kill off the human race….it will not change anything…it will not ease your anger or replace what has been lost…it will only make the pain grow bigger…expand that emptiness you feel inside….it will only make you feel worst then what you started with….”

Now it’s SoonJae’s turn to remain quiet as Yunho continue “As you stated I do not govern you…I may be the heir to the throne but….” Yunho smile a little with a hint of bitterness “as of right now…there is no throne to take or a place for me to belong…. I had abandoned all my duties thus I have no right to make you do something you don’t want to do….but….if you will allow me…I can take away your anger…remove the thought of destruction….clear your mind and give you a chance to ascend to nirvana in peace….”

SoonJae only glares at Yunho as he took a step back and be on guard. He now remembers something from the past. The water clan has a unique ability to cleanse the mind of other dragons. Like water washing away the impurities, they can remove the dark desires….the hate….the anger….the regret and guilt in order to allow one’s soul to enter nirvana. He turns his gaze toward Shinhye’s cold body as he look at her expression. It was of peace even though she died in such a horrible way. All the memories he shared with her, raising her from such a young age to a beautiful woman he is proud of to call as his daughter flashed before his eyes. Her smiles, her laughter…her jokes and her high spirit appear in his mind.

*Flash back*

“Sorry Shinhye…”Soonjae spoke in a weak voice as he had coughed none stop for the last few minutes as an indication that he condition has gotten worst.

Rather than sad or worried, ShinHye looks at him with loving eyes “A dying person should never apologize for leaving…it’s not like you decided on your own that you don’t want to be here anymore….it is your time…it is something decided by the heavens….”

“But…..the thought of leaving you alone makes me sad….”

ShinHye chuckled “sad? Alone? Look at me old man….I am a full grown woman….you have done everything you can to raise me to be strong….raised me to be independent….raised me to be able to live…even without you…all the lessons you have taught me…all the lectures you have given me….will always be at the back of my mind….I will be okay….so you don’t need to be worried…” she smiled

SoonJae couldn’t help but also smile

“rather than worrying about me….you just make sure that when you leave my side….you will smile like you are now…bid me a goodbye with this calm and peaceful expression…that way…I know that you had gone to where you needed to go…and that you will be alright on the other side…”

*End of flash back*

Upon remembering this, SoonJae look at ShinHye’s expression once more and realize that she has gone to where she needed to go and is at peace. He turns his gaze back to Yunho calmer then before as the anger inside him has faded.

“Dragon of the deep blue…” he spoke this time with respect and honor toward Yunho whose title is high “I still think the human race should be put to an end….I still despise them…I still loath them…I wish for their utmost destruction…” he paused a bit before speaking “but…that destruction will not be carried out by my hand….”

Upon this Yunho let out a sign of relief because from the sound of it, SoonJae will not destroy this city and he will not have to fight against him. SoonJae looked down toward all the hunters and toward changmin as he glares at them “Their destructions….will be carried out by their own hand….”

As he spoke those words, Changmin felt a cold chill ran up his spine as he swallows his spit nervously.

SoonJae turn toward Yunho “Everything here is destined to fall….that includes you…”

Yunho didn’t say a word or show any kind of reaction to what SoonJae had just said. It was as if he had already known his future, the kind of fate that will befall him. SoonJae only looks at him strangely as if to try and understand this dragon before him.

“You….look a lot like your father…that glow in your eyes…is just like his…” SoonJae spoke

Yunho only smile “I get that a lot…”

“Most people will fear the future…and yet you aren’t….why is that?”

“You already meet my bride did you not? My hand is already full at the moment that I barely have time to think about the future…” grin Yunho as SoonJae couldn’t help but agree “even if something were to happen to me….or if I ended on the wrong path….he will knock me right back to where I need to be…” said Yunho as he look down at Jaejoong.

SoonJae stood there and gaze at Yunho. The same amount of affection is reflecting in those eyes like how his father once looks at his mother.

“It’s Ironic….” Said Soonjae “I came here to warn of the darkness….to protect and save the future….and yet right now all I want is for this world to end as I stand in nirvana watching it goes up in flame….rather this world should be saved or end in destruction….will lie in your hand young dragon…”

Yunho look at Soonjae with a serious expression upon his face feeling a little burden with the word “World”

“I do not need you to ease my mind….I will go where I needed to go…in peace….” Said SoonJae

With that being said, SoonJae extended his wings and open them as a gesture that he will leave the city.

“When you go to nirvana…say hi to the old man for me…” said Yunho

“I’ll do a little more than a simple hello….there are still some century long score that needs to be settle…” grin SoonJae

Just as he flaps his large powerful wings a loud voice rings through the air.

“NOW!!!”

Right below SoonJae, he saw a little strange spark before a large magical array appears as a flash of electric current shot into his body. He let out a loud and painful roar as his body started to go numb upon the sudden electric shock. He started to struggle and take to the air but the electric currents only acted like ropes trying to pull him back down.

“SOONGJAE!” Yunho shouted as he attempted to help but the gust of winds being created by Soonjae blew him further away. If he were to take his dragon form, he could help him but it will be too risky, this time he might end up killing jaejoong if he does take that form.

Soonjae let out more loud roars as he attempted to escape the spell circle under him but as he gotten into the sky he felted an invisible force field preventing him from going further. This only frustrated him even more. He glares at the number of hunters on the ground and on the nearby rooftops. This fueled his anger as he roar loudly, flapping his wings as strong gust of wings blew everywhere. He swings his large tales and his large claws around but it was no use escaping the magic array underneath him.

“Get into formation!! No matter what we cannot let this opportunity slip by!!!” shouted changmin

Jaejoong snap his attention toward Changmin in disbelief “What are you doing?! Have you gone mad?!”

Changmin look at jaejoong with an expression he had never seen him make in all the years that they have known each other. It looked like a mad man who only wishes to fulfill his own desire.

“You have your dragon jaejoong….I’m going to be taking mine…” changmin spoke before turning his back toward jaejoong

“Don’t do this changmin ah!” Jaejoong begged “You are going to have many people killed!”

“Sorry…” was all changmin said before walking away

“Changmin ah!!!YAH!! CHANGMIN!!!” jaejoong shouted but was ignored

All the hunters quickly gathered not letting the shadow dragon escape. Upon his body being shocked, SoonJae started to struggle to escape but no matter what he does, the electric currents wouldn’t let him leave. Like multiple hands, it grabs hold onto him and pulls him toward the ground. Yunho attempted to help SoonJae escape when suddenly a rope that has been charmed wraps around his body pulling him away from SoonJae. He looks down and sees a hunter holding onto the other end of the rope. Yunho tries to escape but no matter what he does, it wouldn’t budge. There was only one other option to take as he look into the sky and flew higher. A few other hunters join the struggle as they too threw more ropes toward Yunho as it wraps around him. About 6 hunters attempt to pull Yunho back toward the rooftop. With one single word, an electric shock went from the hunters end and traveled through the rope before shocking Yunho as well. He let out a painful groan as his attempts to fly came to a sudden stop before falling to the ground completely out of energy.

“Yunho!!” Jaejoong called out to him

He knew he have to do something quick as he punches the guy holding onto him. Multiple hunters attempted to subdue Jaejoong who fought against them in desperation. Upon the commotion from behind, Changmin turn around and notice jaejoong had broken free and is running toward the building where Yunho is currently being held on the rooftop. Some hunters were going to give chase however changmin advise them that their main focus right now is the shadow dragon.

Jaejoong ran through the lobby of the business building, jumping over the tag scanning machines and up the stairs way. He could feel his body becoming weak as breathing became a little harder. He was gasping and felt stabbing pain where the flower symbol lies. None the less he push forward climbing the stairs without stopping.

In the mean while Yoochun stood outside the shield helplessly watch the scene unfold before him. He could see the dark clouds, the shadow dragon being struck by powerful electricity current to numb him. He clenched his fist tightly praying and hoping Junsu was able to locate the charm and get rid of this shield. If not then this city and everyone in it will be doom. With Yunho splitting half of his life to Jaejoong, it will become a disadvantage for him. He won’t be able to win against Soonjae if he were to go berserk. As of right now Yoochun is the only one who still holds all his power who can subdue SoonJae without being limited. He places his hand in front of him and felt the invisible shield against the palm of his hand. He could see the hunters standing across from him whispering and talking among themselves before they disappear one by one. From the look of it, capturing the shadow dragon is a much more important task then watching him from the other side of the shield. They must have been very confident that the hunter they sent after Junsu had accomplished his goal. But Yoochun held on to hope that Junsu will find the charm and remove this shield.

“Junsu…hurry…” he thought to himself feeling like the situation has become even more dare.

Junsu on the other hand stood in front of the hunter with both is hand in the air. As much as he is scare for his life, he can’t have an innocent life be taken in place of his.

“Let her go….it’s me you want right” said Junsu

The hunter only smiles more sinister as he draws the blade closer to the woman’s neck scaring her even more.

“Come closer….” He spoke

Junsu swallow all the fear that was urging for him to run as he nervously took a few steps toward the hunter.

“I never expected the brother of Changmin to be such a hand full…” the hunter spoke

“Well…I have a lot of free time as a kid to polish up my skills of hiding…” Junsu smile as he did a quick glance of the surrounding to see if there is anything he could use to help his situation. No matter where he looks, there wasn’t anything strong enough to protect him or the woman in the hunter’s arm. He has to figure something out to get her out of that man’s grasp before worrying about himself.

“You got me now…so let her go…”

The hunter looks at the terrify woman in his arm who hasn’t stop shaking from fear “No…” he spoke with a smile as if he have a plan for her “I want her to be my witness that it is by my hand who got rid of the traitor to the shim family…”

“Just let her go…she has nothing to do with this” said Junsu

“Heh…probably not in the beginning but now she does….she seen my face as well…” spoke the hunter

Junsu became quiet now understanding that no matter what he say, the hunter will not release the poor woman who is still shaking endless fearing for her life. While he was still thinking of a plan, the scream of the woman snap him out of his thoughts. To Junsu’s surprise the hunter had lightly cut the woman on the neck as blood started to show

“Stop!” Junsu snapped in horror

“Then I advise you not to do anything that will get her kill…” smile the hunter

Junsu only glares at him

“Continue to walk forward…” demand the hunter

Junsu continues forward, now only standing just a few inches away. He look at the terrify woman and felt bad that he got her involve in this mess.

“Before you kill me…can I at least ask one question?”

The hunter looks at junsu a bit before speaking “Alright….I will grant you one question…”

“Why did they send you?”

“huh?”

“I mean…there are others among the group right? so why did they pick you to come after me instead…does it mean that you aren’t as important?”

This question irritated the hunter a little “There is no reason behind it…”

“Yea….but if you think about it…I’m just a weak human who have no weapons….stopping me is such an easy task…..now guarding the fire dragon…that is even more powerful that involve stronger people….so from my view…your team didn’t see you as someone strong…that’s why they give you the easier task to handle…”

The hunter glares at Junsu for a bit before smiling “I see what you are doing….you planning to confuse me…make me think that my team members are against me….but that doesn’t work….”

Junsu sigh “god darn it…I thought that plan will surely work….” He pretend to be disappointed as the hunter smile even wider thinking he is too smart to be fool by Junsu.

“But…you won’t expect this…” grin Junsu

Before the hunter could figure out what he meant something collided with the back of the hunter causing him to stumble forward. He loosens his grip on the woman as she took her chance and yanks his hand away from her. The hunter clenches his teeth in anger as he swings around to stab her but Junsu quickly reached out and grab onto his hand. He bites the hunter on the arm as the hunter let out a painful cry dropping one of his blades. Junsu turns to the young man who had slammed a chair against the hunter.

“Take her and go!!!” he shouted

The young man didn’t understand the situation but he didn’t want to stick around to figure it out. He grab the terrify woman as they flee. The hunter is now in rage as he swings his other blades toward Junsu who dodge it by jumping back. The hunter looks at him with cold angry eyes that send a chill down Junsu’s spine.

“I’m going to enjoy killing you…afterward I’m going to find that baster and that woman….they will also join you in death!”

He launched at Junsu and started to swing his knife in a rapid movement. Junsu dodged the first blade and almost didn’t dodge the second time as it manages to cut the sleeve of his shirt. The blade came back toward him as he took a step back but end up stumbling onto the ground. As the hunter swings the blade toward Junsu he uses his arm to block the attack by grabbing his arm. The hunter ends up kicking junsu in the stomach as he coughs before falling onto his knee gasping. The hunter Kicks junsu once more as his foot struck him on the face. Junsu falls onto the ground as he tasted blood from inside his mouth. He barely has time to regain his composer as the hunter came down toward him and attempted to stab him. Junsu ends up lying on his back as the hunter sat on top of him with his blade near Junsu’s face. Junsu grab onto the hunter’s hand trying to prevent the blade from cutting him. It became a struggle as the hunter uses more strength and pushes the blade down further toward him. Even though Junsu is trained in combat, to fight against someone like this hunter was impossible. The strength the hunter possesses is un-human like. At this point he figures this is it; this is how and where he is going to die. As they struggle, the pendant in Junsu’s possession starts to glow a red and orange light. This took them both by surprise as the light became brighter blinding the hunter as he got off of Junsu. Taking this chance, Junsu tackles the hunters onto the ground stripping the blade away. They both ends up rolling on the ground each taking turn pinning the other onto the wet cold floor. At the end the hunter regain his position over junsu as he reaches for his blade and tries to stab him once more. Junsu suddenly felt his body become light as if the strength he didn’t have before has suddenly filled his body. With a single push, he ends up throwing the hunter about a foot away as the hunter slams against the large trash can. The hunter felt his back throbs from the sudden pain as he lifts his gaze toward Junsu who is now glowing in the same warm light as the pendant. It looks almost like he is being possessed by another soul. The hunter figures if he doesn’t act now, he will end up on the losing end. He jumps toward Junsu and swings his blade before disappearing from the front and reappear at the back to take him by surprise. However his plan failed, Junsu had grabs onto the blade startling the hunter. With a single move, Junsu broke the blade in half and threw it onto the ground. The hunter jumps back a foot to give them space as he felt a shivers traveled throughout his body. He looks at his now broken blade in complete shock. But before he could figure out what to do next, Junsu had appear right in front of him and punches him in the stomach. The force of the punch was strong and powerful as the hunter cough up blood feeling the large amount of pain in his body. Junsu grabs onto him and knees him before kicking him as he slams against the wall. The hunter could only gasp and cough endlessly feeling the energy in his body slowly fading. He could barely stand back on his two feet feeling like some bones were shattered. The light that surrounded Junsu quickly faded as he return to his senses completely unsure of what just happen. He looks at the hunter who is now sitting on the ground clenching his stomach as blood stream down the corner of his mouth.

Suddenly the loud roar of the shadow dragon echoed throughout the city. The ground beneath his feet shook nearly knocking him off of his feet. The pendant continues to shine but this time it was brighter than usual. Junsu knew one of the charm is near as he looks around and spots a something peeking at the corner of the large trash can that the hunter had slam into earlier. He ran toward the trash can and pushes it aside to completely reveal the entire charm that was hidden from view. He couldn’t help but smile in happiness that he had finally found it. Junsu reaches for the charm when he felt an electric shock his fingers causing him to pull back. A magic circle has been drawn around the charm preventing it from being removed. Upon this the hunter started to laugh loudly ignoring the pain that is traveling throughout his body.

“You can’t stop this from happening….we will succeed….the water and shadow dragon will become ours…and this world…this world will bow down to us…”

Junsu only glares at the hunter “we shall see about that…”

Junsu once again reaches for the charm as the electric current shock him once more. It was strong enough to cause his entire body to go numb but none the less he pushes forward caring little about his own life. Junsu manages to grab onto the end of the charm surprising the hunter. With a grin, Junsu pulls the charm off of the wall before falling to his knee. His body still shaking as smokes emitted from his body.

“I did it….I manages to remove one of the charms…” thought junsu happily

The hunter manages to get on his feet and stumbles toward Junsu looming over him from behind

“You may have destroyed the field….but I will end your life right here….”

He held the broken blade above Junsu and pushes it downward however what he ends up stabbing isn’t the flesh of a body but the cement ground. Junsu who was sitting on the ground has completely disappeared. The hunter then felt a strong and sinister force from behind him numbing him in place. He couldn’t help but feel the fear creeping from deep inside him. He manages to turn his head and only saw two red eyes glaring at him before he felt his body become hot and unbearable. Within a few seconds, his entire body went up in flame as his painful cry echoed loudly.

Junsu realizes that he is now in the arm of Yoochun as he smiles holding up the charm in his hand “I did it…” he spoke weakly

Yoochun return the gentle smile “Indeed you did…now rest…I’ll take care of the rest…”

Junsu nodded his head as the ground once again shook as Yoochun turn his gaze toward the shadow dragons with a serious look on his face.

Soonjae struggles became less as he had using up all his energy. He could no longer fight against the electric currents that is grabbing onto his body as it pulls him back down toward the ground. He moans of pain as his large body become numb. Even moving his large wings has become impossible as he gasps and breathes rapidly. Upon seeing Soonjae being defeated, Changmin’s smile grew wider. Just a bit more and this shadow dragon will become his. He will be able to show it to his grandfather once he awoke from his coma. Soonjae could see the smile on changmin’s face and the excited expression among the hunters. He laid eyes at Shinhye once more as her beautiful smile flashes before his eyes.

“Sorry Shinhye…I guess not everyone will be able to leave this world with a smile like you did…” he thought to himself.

SoonJae opens his mouth and begin to gather dark matters in the middle of his mouth as it starts to glow.

“Wait! SoonJae stop! Don’t do it!” Yunho shouted as he attempts to escape but couldn’t

Jaejoong manages to make it to the roof top and spotted a few hunters holding Yunho down with charmed ropes. Upon his presence, a few hunters rush toward him to try and subdue him. Jaejoong fought against them as they gather around him. Even though they are well trained hunters, Jaejoong still manages to hold his ground running all over the place, fighting against them as if his life depends on it. He ignored the throbbing pain in his body and ignored the fact that he has become weaker because Yunho had taken his dragon form prior to this moment. All he cares about is help Yunho break free so he could help Soonjae and put all of this to an end. He made it toward Yunho and tried to undo the ropes when one of the hunters grabs onto him from behind pulling him back.

“Jaejoong ah!” Yunho shouted

Another hunter grabs onto Jaejoong as another came forward and punches him in the stomach. This causes Jaejoong to gasp as he felt the pain and falls to his knee. Upon seeing his bride getting beaten, Yunho became even more enrage as he once again struggles to break free of the rope. His eyes started to glow a bright golden light. Jaejoong felt the flower on his chest became painful once more as it glows resonating with Yunho. He clenches his shirt tightly holding back the moan of pain. Right before everyone’s eyes Yunho begin to glow as two large wings grew upon his back. The wings acted like sharp blades cutting the charmed ropes that bonded him breaking free. All the hunters stood still in shock as they watches Yunho floats into the air burning with rage. He disappears from where he was and reappears right in front of a hunter before grabbing him by his neck slamming him onto the ground. He then tosses the unconscious body toward the others knocking them over like bowling pins. One of the hunters took out his sword as the amulet begins to glow. He dashes forward to take Yunho on as an opponent but Yunho easily broke the sword and knock him unconscious. The others came at him with desperation to win but all of them were easily defeated.

“I’ll show you no mercy…!” spoke Yunho angrily as he lifted both of his hands to the side

All the rain that has gathered upon the rooftop begins to move and wrapped around each hunter likes vines. They were struggling but they wouldn’t break free of the water holds. Jaejoong watches as the water wrap around each hunter begin to expand around the body connecting until it looks like they are complete wrap in a sheet of water restricting any oxygen. They were struggling to breath but the only thing going into their mouth was water slowly drowning them. Yunho move one of his hands to the front of him. This movement made Jaejoong uneasy as this is a frightful power. He knew right away that if he doesn’t stop Yunho, he will kill all of the hunters in one move. However he couldn’t find the voice to yell, he couldn’t find the strength to move from where he stood.

“I’ll send you all to where you belong…your soul and body will both be crushed…!!” glare Yunho as he started to close his fingers into a fist. But before he could, a pair of warm hand touches his causing him to stop. Standing in front of him is Jaejoong who has grasped his hand in his.

“I’m okay…I’m alright….so calm down…” Jaejoong spoke softly with a smile

Upon his words, Yunho return to his sense as he is no longer glowing. He lower his hand as the water that is drowning the hunters burst open as all the hunters falls onto the ground unconscious. The shadow dragon roars once more, earning the attention of Yunho and Jaejoong. The ball of energy in his mouth became bigger and bigger.

“YUNHO!” came Yoochun’s voice as he landed on the rooftop along with Junsu in his arm

“Where the hell have you been?!” Yunho asked

“You aren’t the only one that has problem to deal with…!” Yoochun snaps back

Junsu looks at SoonJae in amazement that there were actually more dragons out there. This black one however sends shivers down his spine as if he is looking at death “W-what is he doing?”

“You need to stop him Yoochun!” shouted Yunho

“Here me Dragon bride…” Soonjae’s voice ring inside jaejoong’s head

Upon hearing this voice, it startles Jaejoong

“You do not need to stop me…I will not harm this city…”

“W-what do you mean? What…are you going to do?” jaejoong asked

“I’m going to go where I need to go….I refuse to be capture and use as tools for human”

Jaejoong pauses unsure what he meant.

“Thank you dragon bride…”

“Thank me? But I haven’t done anything to receive your thanks…”

“By coming back to save me shows how kind you really are….to fight against a group of people shows how courage you are….to put yourself at risk for others…shows how much you value those around you….not listening to warning and running into the face of danger shows how stubborn you can be….all of these trait is what made you strong….it’s what made you the perfect match for the young water dragon beside you….remember what I spoke to you about…if you wish for this world to end…let it run its course…if there is still something you hold dare…a connection to this world that is crumbling in its own sins…then you will have to protect him well…the future depends on the bond you both share…”

“Soonjae….just what are you going to do…?” jaejoong ask as he starts to get a terrible feeling from deep inside him

Soonjae didn’t answer. Just looking into his eyes, jaejoong could see him smiling which made him feel even more uneasy. Yoochun ran forward as his body starts to glow. He was about to take his dragon form when Soonjae once again descended into the sky fighting against the electric currents. The wind created by his wing made Yoochun pauses. Without the invisible shield, Soonjae flew as high as he could with all the strength he could master. Once he is high enough, he closes his mouth. The big ball of energy ends up going back into his body as he closes his eyes.

“Dragon bride….I leave ShinHye’ S body to you…please buries her in a beautiful place…”

In front of everyone, Soonjae’s body starts to glow in the same light as the ball of energy as it becomes brighter and brighter. Within a few seconds Soonjae’s body exploded as gust of winds blew everywhere. A large purple light flashes throughout the sky. As the gust of winds and the purple light disappear, the shadow dragon is no more as the magic array disappear. The rain had completely stopped and falling in its place are little sparks falling like snow.
