Another update for y'all since I love love this story.
And because it's still my favorite man's birthday in America :)

"So you and him are over?" Sehun asked as he walked with Nami to the cafeteria of the hospital. She sighed and nodded as she thought back to that day.

"Bu- why?" Joonmyun questioned as he looked at her in a stunned manner. Nami sighed and smiled sadly at the man as she removed her hand from his cheek. "Joonmyun, I love you, I really do. But after two years... you treat me like I'm nothing." She finally said it. She finally said what has been on her mind since the day he started treating her like so. "Every time I ask you to do this with me, you say you're busy. I asked you to come to my med-school graduation, and you forgot. How am I suppose to be with a man who can't even appreciate the little things that matters to me?" The brunette questioned, letting him ponder on her word as she stared at him. 

"It's hard to be with someone who doesn't even pay attention to their own girlfriend, but he can pay attention to someone who's not his girlfriend." She stepped aside, leaving him to look devastated as he stared at the open space. Nami sighed and unlocked the door before turning back to look at him. "Can I ask you something," she called out as he turned to look at her with teary eyes. 

"In the years that we've dated," she uttered softly as she opened the door, "did you ever love me? Did you ever even care about me?" 

"Wow," Sehun uttered with widened eyes as he pulled out a seat for the brunette. "So you've been single for two weeks now?" The girl sighed and nodded as she nibbled on her sandwich that he had brought her. It was still shocking to her that she was now an independent woman, but she's always been independent when Joonmyun decided to leave her in the shadow and do everything on his own and go out of his way to impress other females. 

"Anyway," Sehun called out as he snapped her back into reality, "how's the internship going?" 

Nami huffed and placed her sandwich down with a frown: "I enjoyed it so much when I started because I was on Baekhyun's service. I was on peds and now I'm on trauma, which means the emergency room all the damn time. I don't even get to scrub in on surgeries anymore because Minseok oppa is too busy snapping people's bones back in while I'm stuck sticking people with epi's or some kind of needle." She frowned as Sehun chuckled, shaking his head at her child-like behavior. 

Now that she's no longer on Baekhyun's service, she didn't really enjoy working in the hospital. She loved it when she would be able to see the children in the peds hall. It brought her a sense of calmness and it made her feel like she was going to be okay at the end of the day; especially after the break up with Joonmyun. But now, she had to make sure all the patients admitted into the hospital were out of harms way. Just hours ago, she had a patient come in with serious burns—third degree burns to the point that the plastic surgeon had to come in and help with the case that she was no longer on. 

Luhan had called her for her help earlier since Minseok insisted that she was free to help whoever that needed her help. 

"Well, I'm glad you're enjoying it," Sehun replied in his sarcastic tone. She glared at him and huffed, grabbing her sandwich to bite off angrily. 

"Ah, Hwang!" Doctor Yoon called out as she looked towards Nami and Sehun. Nami's head perked up as she looked to her 'boss'. "Yes, ma'am?" 

"You're on Doctor Kim's service from today on out." She replied as Nami frowned. "But I'm already on his service." 

"The other Kim, the neuro Kim." She replied and nodded to the brunette, "Doctor Kim thought that trauma isn't for you so he did you the liberty to explore a different specialty. Yu requested to be back on trauma so you're off the hook." Her frown deepened because the other Kim was Joonmyun, and she wasn't really into wanting to see him after two week ago. Sehun looked to her with a worried look and reached over to grasp her hand. She looked at him before nodding to Doctor Yoon, who then disappeared to grab some lunch.  "I hate this," she said, yanking off a part of her sandwich once more with an anger frown. 

"I know you do," Sehun mentioned. "But I know what can cheer you up. Ice cream and a movie marathon." He said with a smile. Nami looked at him and smiled. "Are you working tomorrow?" He questioned. Nami shook her head but held up her finger. "I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow morning so it'll have to wait until noon time-ish." Sehun chuckled and nodded as he threw an arm around her. He leaned his head against her shoulder and sighed. She smiled and patted his cheek gently when Joonmyun walked by. He looked at her then to Sehun before looking back at where he was headed to. She noted that he had walked back quicker which made her frown. 

"Well," she sighed, "I guess I should get back to work.."

Nami slowly walked to where Joonmyun spent most of his time when he was at work, except.. she only noticed that he was by the nurse's station chatting with one of the nurses there. She looked flirtatous while he looked bored. He immediately signed off on the chart that she had handed him as Nami walked up to him. She cleared and gained his attention while the nurse glared at her for interrupting her flirting with him. "Can I help you?" He stuttered as he looked to his now ex-girlfriend. He had to admit that he wasn't feeling right.
