Her ears pricked at the sound of footsteps. There were at least 7 other beings in the room as they all surround her . She had been blindfolded but the slightest of sound or shuffle in movement was enough for her to decipher where her enemies were. Jennie had to win this fight to even begin training under the leaders. Her entire life had led to this moment and could not afford to lose. Jennie had already visualized where all the beings around her were. A subtle shift in her opponents' movement was what she was looking for in taking them down. Just then, a being at her 2 o’clock attacked her, she dodged the attack and took down her opponent.

6 more to go, Jennie thought.  

She then heard a dagger being unsheathed, she herself had no weapon of her own. As the dagger holder attacked, Jennie used the opponent she had just taken down as a shield. If she didn't want to risk running out of stardust, she has to finish this fight soon.

The fight went on for twenty more minutes, Jennie had taken down all her opponents at least once. By the end of it, she was exhausted. Her legs were about to give out any second and felt like it was burning with every breath she took. She sighed in relief as she heard the gong. The fight was now over, she really didn’t care about the results right now. All she wanted was a nice cool bath and a drink, any drink. She took off her blindfold and looked around. A smirk graced her face as she saw most of her opponents still on the floor and unlike her they hadn’t been blindfolded.

A message was delivered to her by a snow-white bird. She opened it and out popped up a hologram of the leaders; Shoo, BoA, Eugene, and Bada. BoA delivered their message, “The result will be delivered to you tomorrow at sunrise. This will determine if you are selected to train under the leaders and hopefully become one in the future. You have done a great job. We wish you luck with your future endeavors!” With that the hologram disappeared. It had been a recorded message, but Jennie couldn’t help but be disappointed. She had hoped for something a bit more personal, especially from Bada. Bada had trained her when she had first arrived on the planet from her star. Bada and Jennie had been close and were both the strongest warriors of their age. Bada had made it her job to look after Jennie, but ever since Bada had visited Earth on her mission she had stopped training Jennie. Jennie only saw her occasionally in hologram form.

As Jennie made her way out of the underground training field, she couldn’t help but smile at what was in front of her. Kai and Kuma had come to pick her up! Jennie loved her unicorns Kai and Kuma. Kai was a white horned unicorn while Kuma was a statuesque chocolate brown winged unicorn. They were Jennie’s family and was always openly affectionate to Kai and Kuma as they showed  the same towards her. Jennie had rescued Kai and Kuma from the black market in Telluride when they little colts and never left her side. Kai, Kuma, and Pasta were the only unicorns on Amicitia and they were beloved by all the celestials.

“Have you come to pick Mom up?” Jennie squealed as she ran to her unicorns forgetting all about her bruised body and exhaustion. 

She had never been this open with her emotions in front of other celestials. Her emotions were reserved only for the special few. Kuma neighed flapping his wings while Kai moved her neck up and down neighing joyfully. Jennie laughed at this display “Alright let’s go home!”

“Did you have fun with Pasta today?” Jennie asked as they made their way, 

When Jennie limped as she walked, she was reminded once again of her battered body. She seriously wished she had come to the training grounds on her bike but then again she wouldn't have gotten to walk home alongside Kai and Kuma.
