Jessica’s not what most would consider an amateur designer. She’s gone through years of schooling, and even more years of working her way up to being the CEO and founder of her own company (something that she’s been for three years now). Still, she’s far from being a senior fashion icon; someone capable of creating new trends without even a shred of doubt that she won’t succeed. Quite the opposite actually; Jessica never stops worrying about the success of her products. Which is why she’s added yet another person to her board of consultants.

         Tiffany’s this new consultant’s name, and Jessica has to say she already likes her more than her other consultants. Jessica had hand picked her out of hundreds of applications. She is Jessica’s age, has a bubbly personality, and definitely knows fashion.

         Though Tiffany will be a valuable asset, Jessica also has more personal reasons for choosing her. The other members of her board are ages 35-50. Of course they’re all very knowledgeable, experienced, and offer beneficial advice, but aside from fashion, Jessica shares no common interests with them.

          Under normal circumstances that wouldn't be a problem. Why would you need to share interests with your employees? The answer is simple; thanks to her dedication and commitment, Jessica doesn’t really have someone to call her best friend. She left all of them back home when she moved to start her business, and with her busy schedule, as well as her well-known face, it’s impossible to just go out and find a friend.

          Now however, with Tiffany sitting on the other side of Jessica’s desk talking away about one of her favorite shows, and how they should binge watch it together. Jessica knows she’s at least found a friend. Maybe even a best friend; it’s just too soon to tell.
