Of Paper Planes and Paper HeartsShort chapter is short ( ._.) (excluding this, it's actually 505 words so you can either read this now or save it to read it with the next chapter)
I'm scared
Junhui frowned at that when their conversation came to that, wondering if he needed to go in to check if Jeonghan's PTSD wasn't acting up again when another paper plance came down.
Will we be able to continue talking like this?
He blinks at that, thinking back to the amount of paper planes that he had collected up until now that were kept in that drawer. Junhui yells back, "Of course we will! Why wouldn't we?" Another plane.
Because you said you might change
"Jeonghan, we all change at one point. It can't be helped with some times..." Junhui said, worried that he maybe shouldn't have said that but it was the truth: Everything changes at one point whether you realize it yourself or not. He bit his lip nervously before calling out again, "And it's okay, I'll be here for you as long as you need me..." he couldn't help it when his voice slowly weakened at that sentence because he knew very well himself that change was a scary thing.
He sneezed before realizing that he's been standing in the cold for longer than usual. Junhui checked if Yewon was coming soon so that he could go inside and confront Jeonghan before he sneezed again. When he turned back he saw another paper plane.
Are you alright?
"I'm okay!" he said but ended up sneezing again. He sniffled, Did I catch something? It wouldn't be unlikely though since I've been doing this a lot during winter and at night... and his thoughts were interrupted by yet another sneeze, making him groan in annoyance, "Jeez, isn't it suppose to be spring by now..."
Maybe you should go home now
"It's okay, really!" he called back but even he knew that that was a lie by now. He saw how the newer paper planes came quicker than normal
Jun you should really go inside
I think you caught something
I'm really worried...
Junhui checked if Yewon was coming but yet again he didn't see her figure coming anytime soon. He lets out a defeated sigh at that before taking one last glance at the window where the thick curtains still covered the window.
"Okay okay, I'll go back home," Junhui surrendered, "Bye, Jeonghan..." he murmurs the last part since he worried more about reassuring Jeonghan than his own physical well-being. He hesitantly turns around before shoving his freezing hands into the pockets of his trousers and heading home.
When he closed the door behind him, he sneezed yet again, quickly alarming his family as his mother came out from the living room, immediately asking, "Junhui, are you okay?" in Chinese.
"I'm not sure..." Junhui responded in Korean by accident before his mother walks over and places her hand on his forehead, worriedly murmuring, "You're burning. You should just go to bed right now and we'll see if it worsens tomorrow morning."
He sighs, knowing that it most likely will from the accumulation of staying out at night for so long during winter especially.
