~The Next Morning~

Taeyeon was washing her face when she heard a knock at her window. She walked out of the bathroom and looked through the window to find Changmin standing there staring back at her. “Changmin?” She asked quietly before opening the door to her balcony. “What are you doing here?”

Instead of getting an answer that she was expecting, Changmin gave her a kiss which silenced her.

When they pulled away, she looked up at Changmin with confusion. “What’s wrong?”

“I don’t want to lose you.” He replied back.

She shook her head. “What makes you think that you’re going to lose me?”

He looked down at her with intense eyes. “You’re leaving in two days. And now since you’re leaving, my mom and your aunt are setting an arranged marriage for me and Jessica.”

Taeyeon in some air. “W-what? Marriage?”

Changmin nodded. “Why do you have to leave so soon?”

“It’s not that I want to. My mom needs me.” answered Taeyeon. “But why marriage? Doesn’t your mom ever talk to you about how you feel?”

Changmin shook his head. “No, she never did and she never will. She just wants what’s best for her. She’ll do things to my life that affects me but not her.”

Taeyeon’s jaw slightly dropped. She had no idea that Changmin’s mother was so selfish. “I’m sorry, I never knew.”

“Don’t be sorry. We just have to find a way to stay together. That’s all we can do right now.” Changmin stated.

“Changmin! You’re getting married to my cousin!”shouted Taeyeon.

“Shh…” interrupted Changmin.

“What are we going to do? What if they try to break us apart? They already are!” Taeyeon whispered.

“They don’t even know that we’re together.”

“But they’re already tearing us apart.” Taeyeon said as her eyes started to well up with tears.

Changmin quickly pulled her into a tight hug. “Everything’s going to be okay. I’ve already told Dana about this and she doesn’t approve of me marrying Jessica. She’s one of our supporters.”

Taeyeon couldn’t help but sob into his chest. “Has she thought of an idea to help us?”

Changmin hesitated to answer her, but he did. “She wants me to go home with you.”

“What?” Taeyeon asked while pulling away from the hug. “If you come home with me, they’ll find you. What if they do something that really hurts the both of us.”

“Taeyeon!” Changmin shouted in frustration. He quickly brought his voice back down. “I’ve thought about it, and I’m going home with you. I’ll live in a different place, but I’m going with you.”

“What if they find you?”

“Then they find me, but I’m not going to marry Jessica.”

Taeyeon bit her lip and finally caved in with a nod. “Okay.” She whispered.

“I’ll meet you at the plane.” Changmin said as he brought her wrist up to his face. He smiled at the gold bracelet that her wrist was wearing.

Taeyeon giggled at him. “I really like this bracelet. It means a lot to me.”

Changmin looked at her in surprise. “Really? Well what can I say? I know what to get for my amazing girlfriend.” He gave her a cheesy smile.

Taeyeon couldn’t help but laugh at him. “You need to leave.” She said still laughing while pushing him out to her balcony.

When they got to her balcony, Changmin quickly grabbed a hold of her wrists. “Come to my house later okay?”

“Aren’t your parents going to wonder why I’m there?” Taeyeon questioned.

“Fine, go to Jaejoong’s house, and I’ll be there later.” replied Changmin. He started to go down the ladder.

Before he got down onto his feet, Taeyeon looked down at him. “When?”

“Be there in 30 minutes. I’ll be there in 35 minutes.” Changmin replied back while looking around to make sure that no one sees him. “I’ll see you later okay?”

Taeyeon nodded and waved goodbye. He did the same and ran away from the house.

Taeyeon turned back around and closed her eyes while sighing to herself. “He’s really going to run away from home with me huh?” She slowly shook her head and walked into her room. She couldn’t believe that Changmin would do something as to run away from home all for her.

She sat on a chair and began to play with her hair. She began to think about what was going to happen. “He’s going to marry Jessica as soon as I leave. If leaving is something that can prevent this from happening then he’s going to do it.” She let out a soft sigh from his decision. “What will be the consequences if people find us at my house together?”

She got up from the chair and began getting ready to head to Jaejoong’s house. She combed her hair and said, “The consequences will be big, but let’s just stay strong Changmin….just stay strong.”
