Chapter 17

Between jokes and teasing Bomi, Mina and I finished setting up my apartment. It was little past 8PM when we left my apartment to go and get ready at Mina’s place, after all she was the BIGBANG’S stylist and she insisted She had just the outfits for Bomi and I to wear for tonight’s party.

 It was just half past mid night when we finally made it to Harlem‘s parking lot when my phone beeped to announce an incoming text:

<<< Where are you? >>>

My face immediately lit up and I was quick to reply <<< The parking lot, we just got here. You >>>

After parking Mina’s car I informed them I would meet Seunghyun in his van and join them in a little. They both gave me knowing smiles as I walked my way to his van.  As I approached the vehicle’s door open and Seunghyun stepped out of the van and I took in how handsome he looked. .

“Hey Cielo,” I greeted him, he immediately hugged me and gave me a small peck

“You look absolutely beautiful babe,” he released from the hug “lets head inside, I just wanted to see you and go in together”

We walked down the street to Harlem in silence. I waited for him to open up, to tell me something, but no dice. 

“Is there something wrong Cielo?”

Seunghyun stuck his hands in his jacket and shrugged “nothing, why?”

I raised an eyebrow at him. He could pull the nonchalant attitude with anyone else and I wouldn’t care, but me? No not with me, at least I didn’t want him to.

“Come on are you on your period or something?” I asked with a teasing jab of the elbow. “Do you need to borrow a tampon?”

That finally got a small laugh out of him “You’re such a brat, Daniela” he said. He reached over to ruffle my hair, but I anticipated the move and did a little Ninja-ballerina maneuver to avoid him.

“Hey” I said “leave the hair alone will ya.” I joke as we approached the Harlem doors. Harlem seemed to be the place to be on a Saturday night, as there was a huge line at the entrance.

I turned around to look at the people in line, dressed in their best clothes. I suddenly felt grateful that Mina insisted on coordinating my outfit tonight.

“I thought it was YG private party tonight” I told Seunghyun as we were quickly led inside. 

“It is, there are two floors, the first is open to the public, and the second is only for YG people”

“Ah I see” I gave him my best sunny smile. 

His lips quirked up a little and I felt a finger tickle me on the side. 

Inside, just like Seunghyun said, there were two floors, the lower floor looked to be at full capacity while the second floor where we were headed seemed almost empty in comparison 

“Come let’s get something to drink” Seunghyun said quickly pulling me towards a bar in one of the corners at the launch 

“Shouldn’t I greet Tablo-sumbenim first?”

“Trust me, you need some alcohol in you before you step into any of those rooms over there “he said handling me a shot of tequila? While he pointed towards some rooms at the other end of the floor w
