Chapter 1

My  first  few days  in Korea  went by incredibly fast I had  a lot of things to settle with immigration and the  government. The company had taken care of almost everything so all I had to do is wait in line  and  sign papers  here and there. After the hustle of setting my documentation I got back to the hostel I was staying and called it a day . In   the mornings I felt  an excitement  that I hadn't  felt  for months,  I guess that  its was due to the fact that everything was new to me : the  smells , the  tastes,   the people,  all new  to me  I felt  as  if I was me again  the Daniela that existed before, before … I didn't  want to think about it not again not tonight, tomorrow was an important day I couldn't afford to loose sleep  not only was I reporting to the company for the first time but I will be moving into my home for the next couple of months . As I woke up the next morning I  promised myself that JUST FOR TODAY I would allow myself to be happy just as every morning since my move to Korea .

JUST FOR TODAY .…

I was  ready to  start  at YG Entertainment Co. , after finishing all the immigration paper work I walked in to meet  Bomi .

“ oh you're here” Bomi said 

“Annyeonghasseyo” I sand  bowing a bit

“Wahh Korean style already” she  said with a laugh   “lets talk  ?”  Bomi said with a worried face   as she linked her arms with me  pulling me towards a sitting area

“As  I explained to You before Daniela We starting negotiations  with Latin America, Mexico in specific , since the hallyu wave is  reaching Spanish countries  but these negotiations wont  start till next year” I nodded in understanding,  she had explained this  to me  in a previous email. But I still couldn't understand why she seemed nervous 

“so with that said  You won’t be working  as an administrator  yet … instead You are  here to help and  prepare the kids for the Spanish market while being  their manager” 

 “I’ll be baby sitting “ my tone and expression dead 

“ I know its not  what You were expecting  but “ 

I held  my hand in the  air to stop her  “ I'm ok with anything  hun, I'm so glad You gave me the opportunity and  I wouldn't  care if I You brought me here to clean toilets, You more than anyone know I needed to start over “ I said  with a smile 

“ its just for a few months I swear”  I nodded and smiled  almost laughing  at  how  nervous she looked. my  silly friend,  I was so grateful to her  and all she has done for me  not just now but since We met  “ and I’ll be with You, I’m the personal manager for one of them. So what do You say “ready” 

“ I think so “ I said  in a low voice 

“kaja ”

Bomi  took me around the building as I needed to fill more paper work . We first  went to get my picture and fingerprints taken so I  could have access to the building and was  given a pass code,  again for access to the building and it's parking  garage  ( which didn't matter as I didn't have a car  to begin with ) then We left to the administrative side which I guessed was  where I would be working, I wonder  what office I would be given  in a couple of months as I passed  by several empty offices.  Bomi lead me into an office where I had to go over  more paper  work as expected  at any company . I was told   the  rules and regulations  of the company. This wasn't  my first  job  so I knew  most of what  she was saying  , still I made sure to listen carefully

“ This is a Nondisclosure agreement We all have to sign it  its part of the deal since We work with celebrities and all , it states that You can’t  reveal anything  related to  what You hear see or do here, without prior consent, to anyone outside this company “  said Bomi  giving me the last paper to sign 

“ yes I understand “ glancing at the papers and  quickly reading  it  before signing it 

“ well welcome to YG” she said as she stood to hug me “lets show You around  introduce You to the boys “

 “the boys ?!?!?! ” I'm confused 

“ yes , the boys , You are assigned to Big Bang”

The building is  huge , modern and new looking  when I commented on this Bomi  laughed and explained  that it  was because they just  recently opened this building that they used to be in another smaller building  but as things and artists  continued to do better  they moved. the tour continued and I as  able to finally see the lobby  as  I used the side entranced this morning . it  was  filled with pictures of  all the artists  black color dominated the space  it was an intimidating display  I stopped  in aww as I contemplated the  perfection of these  boys  they  looked to good to be true  it’s the makeup I told myself 

“do they still look this good without all that makeup “ I commented sarcastically 

“HA  You will be  surprised, to be honest some of them don't look this  good specially the girls” she s
