Sori
Description
23 year old Kim Sori’s walls came down the moment she realized; what was most precious to her would soon be taken away from her. Feeling betrayed by the unfair outcomes and circumstances of her life, she goes on to discover that what she had left would soon be gone. She would soon lose her hearing due to her binding dream to create music. Her sensitive ears, matched with her passion for music, led to her inability to continue her dream. She could no longer experience the things she cherished the most, the hobbies she enjoyed the most, and the things that could fill up the void she was born with.
Her disability soon led her to an opportunity. This small but impacting experience would change her life unconsciously. The chance to submit a "wish" to meet one of her idols. She expected her letter to go unnoticed but she was met with a surprise one day. The after math of her wish was more than what she, or the members, had expected.
Foreword
“My name is Kim Sori. At the age of 22 I found out that I could no longer follow my dreams. They told me if I continued, life would get difficult. But I didn’t listen to them. I was a recently graduated university student, ready to chase my dreams. With unloving parents, I couldn’t just let the one thing that motivated me go. But here I am, one year later, in a hospital bed, counting the days I have left to hear. It’s funny isn’t it? My name means, “sound” but in a few days, I may not be able to even hear a pin drop.”
