Mariya: (answers phone) what is it?

Voice: i heard ypu stop homeschooling.

Mariya: (sigh) What is it, really?

Voice: Your mom is really worried. Please comeback home now

Mariya: I will but not yet.

Voice: Where are you. I want to see you.

Mariya:  i wont tell you. i'll see at you work next week.(tunrs call off)

/door slides/

Mirai: (yawn) Ohayo Pontaro!

Pontaro: (yawn)

Ryosuke: (scratches Pontaro’s back) Ohayo Mikan.

Mirai: (rubs her eyes) Ohayo Ichigo. (sits across Ryosuke) …….. (looks at Ryosuke)

Ryosuke: What?

Mirai: You said it again.

Ryosuke: (sigh) It’s fine. Nobody’s around. (scoops rice)

Mirai: (smirks) You’re used to it as much as I do.

Ryosuke: And it’s all your fault. (puts a bowl of rice in front of Mirai)

Mirai: (looks at Ryosuke’s clothes) Going somewhere?

Ryosuke: I’m visiting Uncle Toma today. Just thought I haven’t visit yet.

Mirai: (nods and walks to the fridge to get an orange juice)

Ryosuke: (glimpses at Mirai) Wanna come with me?

Mirai: Eh? (stares at Ryosuke for a moment)

Ryosuke: I change my mind. (continue eating)

Mirai: I haven’t answered yet! (pout)

Ryosuke: If you’re interested, you’ll say ‘yes’ right away.

Mirai: In that glimpse of second? (pours juice of her glass)

Ryosuke: (munches on his food)

Mirai: I was also thinking that Yoaka-sensei will be there. (drinks her orange juice)

Ryosuke: Introducing you as my girlfriend, she wouldn’t suspect anything.

Mirai: (coughs on her orange juice)

Ryosuke: Don’t spit that on me.

Mirai: (slams her glass) Stop making fun of me!

Ryosuke: Oh no I am serious.

Mirai: Yeah right~

Ryosuke: I would really want you to come with me coz I need help in carrying some of the stuffs from Uncle Toma’s.

Mirai: I don’t even get any benefit from that!

Ryosuke: You’re right. Aside from a good lunch.

Mirai: (eyes brighten) A good lunch?

Ryosuke: I told you I already change my mind. I won’t need you anymore.

Mirai: (pout)

Ryosuke: (puts away his dishes in the sink) The house is kind of dirty. You can clean up.

Mirai: Is that a request?

Ryosuke: (smiles) It’s a command. (grabs his bag in the couch)

Mirai: What time will you be home?

Ryosuke: I don’t know. (walks to the door) (stops) Anyway, I know you’re the type to blow the house when I’m gone.

Mirai: I was alone here in this house of couple of years before you came and I didn’t blow it.

Ryosuke: No excuses. You’ll call me when something bad happen. Got that?

Mirai: (sigh) Yeah, yeah.

Ryosuke: And…no visitors. My traces are allover, we can’t compromise.

Mirai: Got it.

Ryosuke: Ittekimasu.

Mirai: Itterasshai~

/door closes/

After breakfast, Mirai immediately wash the dishes, clean the house and did the laundry.

Mirai: Yoshh~ I’m done with everything. (realizes) Wait a minute! I do I have to do what Yamada-kun says? (sighs) He’s creepy afterall. (sat on the couch and open the TV)

/one hour later/

Mirai: It’s getting really boring. (snatches phone out from her pocket) (dials Umika’s number)

/phone on the other line rings/

Mirai: Hello Um—

“Hello this is Umika. Sorry, I cannot take calls today. I am not feeling well. So please just leave your message after the beep.”

Mirai: (sigh) ( turns the call off) Umika-chan isn’t okay yet after Chinen-kun rejected her confession. Poor Umika. (sigh) I’ll just call Suzu-chan.

In a random Coffee Shop

/phone rings/

Suzuka: Hello Mirai-chan?

Mirai: (on the other line) Suzu-chan where are you right now?

Suzuka: I’m—

Yuto: Suzu-chan, cappuccino or macchiato?

Mirai: Ah! Is that Yuto-kun?

Suzuka: (sigh) Yeah. He dragged me out today. He said he needs to forget that tomorrow is going to be the result of the examination.

Mirai: (smiles) So it’s a date then?

Suzuka: Generally speaking, yes. But no.

Yamada Residence

Mirai: (on her phone) (laughs)

Suzuka: (on the other line) He decides things on his own. Going out today wasn’t part of my original plan--

Yuto: I ordered all the desserts available.

Suzuka: What?!

Mirai: (takes phone away from her ear)

Suzuka: How are we going to eat all of—(sigh) (goes back to her phone) Hello Mirai-chan, sorry.

Mirai: (laughs)

Suzuka: So, why did you call?

Mirai: Oh nothing, I just wanted to know what you’re doing. (smiles) Anyway, I’ll see you at school tomorrow. Bye Suzu-chan.

Suzuka: See yah.

Mirai: (turn call off) Fheeww~ Now what? (looks around) Pontaro? (stands from the couch) Pontaro? Even Pontaro is really bored.

She tried to find Pontaro in every corner of the house. She even went to the garden to check, but no traces of Pontaro.

Mirai: I wonder where Pontaro is.

Walks out of the gate, still looking for Pontaro.

Mirai: Pontaro? (looks around) (walks out)
