Mirai: (slams face on the table) This is impossible~

Ryosuke: (glimpses at her) Just twenty minutes ago you were all so pumped up.

Mirai: It's because Kamiki-kun told me "ganbatte" in a very inspiring manner.

Ryosuke: (sigh) That motivation just lasted for twenty minutes? You should have just recorded his voice then.

Mirai: (lifts her back) That's a good idea!

Ryosuke: I was kidding when I said that...(sigh) You'll look like you're having an obsession if you do that.

Mirai: Is that a bad thing?

Ryosuke: Let me tell you this as a guy, Shida-san. (turns to face Mirai)

Mirai: (looks at Ryosuke attentively) 

Ryosuke: We don't like desperate girls.

Mirai: R-Really? Hey, Yamada-kun...D'you think I-I'm being desperate?

Ryosuke: If you are desperate?... (thinks briefly) Yeah.

Mirai: T~T Really?~

Ryosuke: (went back on studying) I'm kidding.

Mirai: Mou~ (bounces on her seat) I'll just study and study until I became smart and Kamiki-kun notices me. (gets on her pen)

 Ryosuke: Hey.

Mirai: (looks at Ryosuke)

Ryosuke: We don't like girls who are too smart... they are intimadating.

Mirai: (frowns and hit with a pillow) Now what you want me to do??!!

Ryosuke: (stares at Mirai)

Mirai: (wide eyed) Uhn?

Ryosuke: Just be yourself. (turns on his book again)

Mirai: (sigh) But...would Kamiki-kun like someone like me? ...I mean, if I'd be myself, would he like me?

Ryosuke: (shrugs) I don't know.

Mirai: But... (looks at Ryosuke) Would Yamada-kun...like me?

Ryosuke: (freezes)

Mirai: Ah... (suddenly realizes her question is a bit weird) Uhnn...If you are Kamiki-kun! 

Ryosuke: (stares back at her)

Mirai: (arcs a cracking smile)

Ryosuke: (smiles widely at Mirai)

Mirai: What?

Ryosuke: You're weird. (went back on reading)

Mirai: (pouts) I asked the wrong person. (flips a page of her book)

Ryosuke: Maybe.

Mirai: Uhn? (looks at Ryosuke)

Ryosuke: I don't know.

/suddenly door bell rings and both Ryosuke and Mirai look at each other/

Convenience Store nearby

Toma: Where's the lemon here? (turns left) (sees a shelf of lemon) Uh! There you are. (picks a pack of lemon and puts inside the basket)

"Toma-niichan? Is that you?"

Toma: Eh? (looks at the person on his right) Ah! Ryuu-kun!

Kamiki: (smiles) It is you.

Toma: Whow! It's been so long.

Kamiki: Yeah. Five years?

Toma: (nods) Almost six.

Kamiki: (laughs) That long, eh?

Toma: I know. (looks at Kamiki's basket) Lemon. Oh yeah, I remember you like homemade lemonade so much.

Kamiki: You still remember?

Toma: Of course! (laughs) I go to your house almost everyday back then! 

Kamiki: (laughs) Onee-chan makes the best lemonade.

Toma: Yeah. She was the one who taught how to make lemonade though I can't really do it as delicious as hers...How is she?

Kamiki: Sometimes, I wished you two never broke up.

Toma: (laughs and hit Kamiki in the shoulders) 

Kamiki: (laughs) Sorry... but I wanted to congratulate you with your marriage.

Toma: Thanks. But how did you know?

Kamiki: It was allover the school before my senior year.

Toma: Yeah, how can I forget!

Kamiki: And congratulations coz in no time you'll become a father.

Toma: (shyly scracth the back of his head) Don't tell me that is also allover the school?

Back on Yamada Residence

Mirai: (peaks from the window) There's someone outside. (whispers)

Ryosuke: Maybe that's Uncle Toma.

Mirai: I don't think so...

Ryosuke: Can you not see it properly?

Mirai: I'm trying.

/door bell rings again/

Mirai: It's ringing again.

"Ryosuke-kun?!" (the one outside called)

Ryosuke: Eh?

Mirai: It's a girl!

Ryosuke: Who?

Mirai: I don't know the girls you hang out with.

Ryosuke: I don't have, specifically.

Mirai: Uh! (shock) (turns to Ryosuke) No way!

Ryosuke: What?

Mirai: It's... (turning pale) It's... a teacher.

Ryosuke: Huh? (looks outside the window) 

Mirai: (panicks) Our supposed-to-be homeroom teacher! It's Yoaka-sensei!

Ryosuke: Yoaka-sensei?

Meanwhile on the convenience store...

Kamiki: It is! She was supposed to be our homeroom teacher but since you impregnate her....

Toma: (laughs)

Kamiki: ...Yamaa-sensei was a replacement.

Toma: Yamaa Tomohisa? Tomo-chan?

Kamiki: (nods) 

/suddenly/

Mayuko: Kamiki-kun! (waves from behind) I'll be waiting outside!

Kamiki: (smiles) Okay!

Toma: (confused) Kamiki?

Kamiki: (smiles) Mom re-married a year ago...so I have to change my last name from Horikita.

Toma: How about Maki?

Kamiki: Onee-chan's an adult and you know she's stubborn, she can do what she wants. So she remained as Maki Horikit
