Chapter 9

Hello everyone! This is Kim Ryeowook! Are you having fun with my story so far? ^_^ Well, you’re in for a special treat this chapter since I won’t do the talking. I will let Kyuhyunnie—I mean Kyuhyun, tell the story! Now, you can have the chance to hear his thoughts and view the story from his point of view! Enjoy! 

“Sir, where should I take you?” My driver asked me.

“To where I was before I went here.” I replied coldly. 

“Very well.” The driver said then we took off.

Seriously, I’m burning with fury. How can he just shove it to my face that he will have a date with Yesung?! Didn’t he know how much that would hurt me?! I want to be his first date, okay?! And Yesung can’t take that spot away from me! 

I just faced the window beside me so I can show him what I really feel! But how am I supposed to do that when my cute little blushing Kim Ryeowook is the most clueless person that I know!

“Uhh where the hell are you taking me?!” I heard him ask me. The tone of his voice sounds like he can’t believe what was happening.

“Just sit there, okay?” I replied. I hope you can take a hint, Kim Ryeowook.

I have to cool myself right now because if I don’t and we already reach our destination, the supposedly happy runaway with him would be put to waste. To tell you the truth, I was planning to escape with him maybe next weekend but the situation just demanded that I have to do it now. I’m just sad that I won’t make this escape as sweet as possible since I just plotted this runaway like 10 minutes ago when I heard that my baby would go out with another guy that was not me. 

What should I do to calm myself? Without thinking, I immediately looked at Ryeowook when I asked myself that question. Fortunately, he was looking outside. Looking at his face, it already sends me to heaven. Oh, how can I ever get mad at you? You’re the reason why I’m not so bored with my life right now and yet I have the nerve to even get mad at you. 

I took a deep breath, and finally, I felt a little better. I continued looking at him and I remembered the day when I started to like him.

I was a new student and when I entered the classroom door; my eyes immediately saw him sitting alone at the back. When I was told to sit next to him, I sort of felt a little relieved. Honestly, my weaknesses are cute guys and when he started to introduce himself to me, I never knew that he could be that cute! I didn’t know what got into me but I started acting like a jerk and I attacked him with a sweet kiss. My friends know that I’m really a bad guy when it comes to relationships but they don’t know that I can be serious once I think I have really fallen hard for someone. I’ am proud to say that Ryeowook is the first guy to ever make me admit that I have really fallen in love. 

Going back, when it was lunch time, I saw him passing by my new friends’ spot and I couldn’t help but follow him. I hid behind the big old tree and eavesdropped on their conversation. I heard that his friend, Hyukjae, was asking him about the kiss that I gave him. He was asking him what he really felt and my heart sunk when Ryeowook said that he was furious. Hyukjae asked him what he really felt and I couldn’t help but be more immersed in their conversation. 

“To be honest, yes I did feel something.” Ryeowook said.

“Don’t be ashamed. It’s okay to feel that way. You never knew that your idol was like that, right? I think that if Donghae was as arrogant as he was and he kissed me, I wouldn’t deny that I would feel something different! It’s okay for fans like us.” Hyukjae explained.

“But isn’t that bad? Just because you’re a fan you just can’t let your idol do those ridiculous things to you, right? You have to give respect to yourself.” Ryeowook said.

“I know but why did you feel something different? You’re the one who told me that we should respect ourselves as fans but you’re the one who still likes him.”

“I don’t like him!” Wookie protested.

“Okay, whatever you say. By the way, my Donghae is holding a concert! I so want to watch but the tickets are already sold out! I was willing to pay the most expensive ticket!”

After hearing that, I couldn’t help but feel like I was flying in heaven. So he was a fan of me, huh? I never knew that I would eventually fall in love with a fan. Yes, I love him, okay? It’s not just ‘like’ anymore!

Anyway, hearing Hyukjae’s last comment, I thought that I should give them my 2 extra tickets to Donghae’s concert. Donghae and I are close friends and he gave me the tickets personally. 

The next day, I went to school early. It’s a habit of mine. I immediately went to the school’s secretary and asked a huge favor.

“Good morning Ms. Park!” I greeted her with a warm smile.

“Good morning to you too Mr. Cho Kyuhyun, is your mother well?” She immediately asked. She and my mom had been classmates when they were in middle school before. This connection was our gateway for an easier admission to this school.

“She’s fine. But I came here to ask a favor from you.” I politely said.

“Anything for you.” She said.

“Can I please know the locker code of Mr. Kim Ryeowook?” I took the courage to ask.

“That is confidential but why?” She replied.

“Well, he borrowed a book from me yesterday and he said that I should just get it from his locker this morning because he might not go to school today. The thing is, I forgot to ask for his code and he forgot to say it to me.” I lied.

“Well, if that’s the case then I’ll be glad to tell you. I see that you’re already making friends. That’s good!” She said then she opened a drawer full of folders.

“The students here are very nice!” I said with double meaning.

“Here you go!” She handed me a small piece of yellow paper.

“Thank you so much! Have a pleasant day!” I said then left the office.

Enough of taking a trip down to memory lane! These memories are enough to calm me down.

“Wookie-ah…” I faintly said and nudged his hand.

He removed his gaze from the window and he looked at me.

“Let me guess, you’re sorry?” He said with the I-knew-it-look.

“I really am! I hope you’re not mad!” I said.

“Hmph, I’m so used to this.” He just said. From the looks of it, he himself was surprised by what he said. It looked like he didn’t want me to hear it.

He was used to it? Is he starting to like me? Dream on, Kyu! I’m already speaking for Ryeowook.

“So you’re giving in already?” I teased. Oh how I love to !

“Not gonna fight back anymore!” He said with his hand facing my face. It was like he was saying ‘Talk to the hand.’ 

“Even though I don’t say it regularly, I just want to let you know how much I melt when you act like this! You know, when you’re acting cute! I just couldn’t help but---“ I didn’t finish my sentence with words but I finished it by pinching his cheeks.

“HEY! How many times have I told you that only mom and Kyuhyunni—“He stopped talking.

Oh yes! He was gonna say “Kyuhyunnie”!! I love the ring of it when he’s the one saying it.

“Come on! Finish your sentence! Mom and?” I even more.

He stopped fighting back and he just bowed down his head.

“Oh come here!” I said then I suddenly hugged him.

I didn’t know what to do anymore! He was too cute! 

“Hey! Let me go!” He protested.

“Okay, okay! I will, but prepare yourself later! You’ll never know when Sneaky Kyuhyunnie will attack! Oh! I made a nickname for myself! Sneaky Kyuhyunnie! Now, I want you to call me that from now on!” I said then released him from my arms.

“Are you kidding me?! Never in a million years will I call you Sneak— With that name!!” He was going to say it.

I just laughed.

“Where are we going anyway?” He suddenly asked.

“You’ll soon find out.” I said with a smirk.

When I smirked at him, I sort of saw his stunned expression. I would die to hear his thoughts right now. 

“Oh, did you tell Yesung why you can’t make it to your date?” My voice suddenly became deeper when I said the word date.

“I texted Hyukjae and told him to tell Yesung that I had to leave because something came up!” He said, emphasizing the word something.

“To make you more comfortable, I’ll call Hyukjae right now and ask if the situation is under control.” I said.

I took out my phone and called Hyukjae.

“Hello?” He answered.

“Hyukjae, did you already tell Yesung where Ryeowook is?” I asked.

“Yeah, he was damn frustrated. But I feel guilty since I saw how you used your lips to lure Wookie to come with you!” He said.

“You did?!” I surprisingly asked.

“Well Donghae sent his butler to give something to me so I went to the parking lot and coincidentally I saw you two. Nice job, Kyuhyun!” He complimented me.

“Thanks but it seems that I have to say that to you too.” I said.

“Me?! Why?” He asked.

“Or maybe I should say ‘nice job’ to Donghae instead?” I .

“Ya Kyuhyun! Stop it! Anyway, take care of my best friend okay?! I’m not a man that goes against my best friend’s will unless I know that it’s for his own good.” He assured.

“Don’t worry. I won’t go to this extent if I’m not serious, right?” I said.

“Yeah, yeah. Well, tell Wookie that I already told his parents that he’s going out with a classmate, okay?” He said.

“Got it and thanks.” I said then I ended the call.

“Since when did you become close with my best friend?” Ryeowook asked.

“Since I helped him with Donghae! Wait, you know about that, right?” I asked.

“Of course!” He said and he took out his phone.

When he took it out, the cellphone charm immediately caught my eye.

“Cool charm! Where did you get it?” I tried to ride with it so he won’t notice that it was really me who gave it. I don’t know why I’m still hiding it from him! I could just say in front of him that I’m the man with the killer voice and I know for sure that it won’t change things. I know it’s confusing because at the same time, I want to let him know that it’s me and I don’t want to let him know. Weird, I know.

“Oh, my secret admirer gave it to me even though I clearly know who he is.” He said with a smile.

God! Does he still think that it’s Yesung!

“It’s from that er, again?!” I laughed. It’s not easy to call yourself a er, you know.

“Yeah, he’s really a er, right?” He said.

That was surprising. I thought he was going to defend Yesung again.

Our little chat was interrupted when my driver suddenly spoke.

“We’re here, sir.” He politely said.

“Is anyone inside?” I asked him.

“I guess no one’s in, sir. Its pass 4p.m. People usually leave at around quarter to 4.” He said.

“Thanks! Then you’ll just wait at the parking lot?” I asked.

“Okay, sir.”

I nodded at him then I grabbed Wookie’s hand.

“Let’s go, baby! We’re here!” I sounded like an excited mother bringing his kid to the zoo.

“I’m not your baby! And where is this anyway?” He asked. He looked so cute when he was looking around, trying to figure out where we were.

“Just come in with me!” I held onto his tightly and we entered the mini three storey building.

When we entered the building, the guard greeted me and he escorted us to the elevator. 

“Are you using the room at the 2nd floor or the 3rd?” The guard asked me.

“I’ll just use the 3rd so that it would be more peaceful.” I replied.

Inside the elevator, it was just me and Wookie.

“Ya…Kyuhyun… what are you going to do with me? I’m still an innocent child, okay?” He said with his head bent down.

“What are you talkin—“ I stopped talking because I already know what he was talking about.

“Now look who’s dirty!? Don’t think that we’re really going inside a bedroom, okay!?” I said then laughed. At this time, we were already at the 3rd floor and we were already walking towards the room where I will take him.

“The way the guard asked you the question and the way you answered just made me think about it! How can you blame me!? I don’t have any idea where we are!” He said. Seriously, he was too funny.

“Don’t worry, baby. Like what I told you, I won’t take advantage of you… unless you approved it!” I said then continued laughing.

“Baby, you always amuse me!” I added. I stopped walking in front of the room with the numbers ‘321’ plastered on the door.

“We’re here!” I opened the door and opened the lights.

I looked at him to see his expression and I was satisfied. His eyes widened in amazement and his mouth was wide open because of shock.

“This is my first time to go inside a recording studio, Kyuhyun!” He said. Everytime he says my name, I still feel a tingly feeling inside. But I seriously hope that he would start calling me Sneaky Kyuhyunnie.

This recording studio is my favorite among all the small recording studios in this building. It looks classy because of the shiny wood used as the walls and the different labels of different singers hanged on the wall just give me inspiration to work harder when I record a song here.

“Why did you take me here?” He suddenly asked.

“Try to guess.” I said.

“Uhhh… to sing?” He said.

“Yes! Actually not only me. Also you.” I said with a smirk.

“Wait, you mean I can actually record a song in this recording studio?!” He was smiling like an idiot.

“That’s what I said.” I was trying to look cool.

“Omo! Kyuhyun! Thank you so much! It’s my dream to be able to record one song! And I never knew that I would feel this way once I entered an actual recording studio!” He said.

“Awww, I’m glad that I made that wish of yours come true! Come here!” I hugged him. I was so touched that I made him forget that he was trying to show me that he hates me!

I was even more surprised when he responded to my hug! He wrapped his arms around me and I felt a wet feeling on my chest. Was he crying!?

“My cute little blushing Kim Ryeowook! Are you crying?!” I asked. I released him from my arms but he refused to. He hugged me tighter and he buried his face deeper into my chest. I felt his hot tears seeping through my shirt and I already felt his tears on my bare chest. 

“Just don’t look at me right now, okay? It’s embarrassing to show you my crying face. I’m just too overwhelmed that I can’t think of anything to do than cry.” He said.

That was cute and touching.

“You know—“ I was cut off when he talked again.

“Don’t talk too. I don’t want to spoil this moment with you teasing me.” He sobbed. 

Oh God! I think I’m gonna cry too.

“Promise me that you won’t make fun of me once I let go of you, okay?” He said.

I took a deep breath.

“I promise Kim Ryeowook.” I think this is the first time I called him seriously with his full name.

“Thank you.” He said then he continued to cry.

Even though it was just tiny soft sobs, I couldn’t help but feel touched too. Every time he sobs, his hug just gets tighter and tighter. 

Let it out, baby Wookie. Let it out.. I never thought that I could bring this kind of special gift to you.

I wish I can always be there for you whenever you have to shed tears. I want to be the one who will catch all of your tears and make you feel better after. 

I sighed.

You really got me under your spell, Kim Ryeowook.
