The End (Final)
MistakesKai widened his eyes in surprise and stopped swinging for a moment to look over at the girl next to him, unable to process what it was that she had just said to him.
“You… what?” Kai asked, stunned.
“I love you too,” Minzy repeated herself and continued to swing back and forth.
Glancing over at her face once more, the happiness Kai felt was short lived as he began to read her facial expression. He had known her for far too long. The expression that she had been making gave it all away.
“…But…” Kai got up from his swing and stood in front of Minzy, far enough so that she wouldn’t be able to hit him with her dangling feet.
Minzy casted her eyes downwards and smiled slightly, knowing that her best friend had already read her thoughts through her face, a talent he had since they were children.
“But not like how I use to,” speaking softly, she was almost unsure of whether or not he had heard her or not.
Reflecting her previous smile, Kai let out an over-exaggerated sigh and turned his back towards her, shielding himself from being seen. The last thing he had wanted that moment was for her to see the expression he was making.
“What was I expecting, anyway?” Kai whispered to himself.
Noticing the sound of footsteps approaching him from behind, Kai cleared his throat slightly and put up one of his hands, indicating that he hadn’t wanted her to step any closer.
“Just go to him,” Kai said meekly.
“I was planning on it,” Minzy nodded her head slightly. “I just wanted to thank you.”
