Minzy and Sehun arrived at school hand in hand the following Monday, and were greeted by a majority of “OMG”’s and an occasional “Congratulations” every here and there. Minzy smiled at the warth she felt by Sehun’s side, and smiled even wider when Sehun had squeezed her hand when he realized she had her eyes on him.

“Don’t stare at me like that, you know it makes me blush.” Sehun looked at the other direction, avoiding Minzy’s eyes as he tried to speak as loud as he could through his embarrassment.

“But you’re so handsome. How could I not stare?” Minzy giggled and wrapped her arms around Sehun’s waist, pulling him into a hug before pecking his cheek.

Smiling, they walked into their shared 1st period together and sat in their seats, glad that the teacher had placed them right next to one another.

Kai arrived shortly after their arrival and was right away met with confusion at the uproar happening within the class. Everyone was talking to each other about something that Kai had obviously not known about and that hadn’t pleased him too much. Kai quickly glanced at Minzy once more before taking his seat and setting his things down.

“Chen, what’s going on? What’s everyone talking ‘bout?” Kai curiously bit on his pencil and stared at his friend who was now debating with himself over whether he should tell him or not.

Finally reaching a conclusion, Chen nodded to himself and positioned himself closer to Kai.

“Minzy and Sehun… Apparently they’re dating.” Chen said these words as fast as he could and ran back to his seat before he could see Kai’s reaction.

Kai felt the pain in his chest become apparent once more. They were, what? Dating? Kai grasped the fabric of his jacket and rose up from his seat, and making his way to the seat that his best friend was sitting in.

“Minzy. We need to talk.” Kai wrapped his slender fingeres around Minzy’s wrist, trying to pull her up from her seat to follow him out of the classroom.

“Kai? What are you doing? The bells about to ring.” Minzy unraveled her wrist from Kai and peered at his face, wondering why he had suddenly come to talk to her after so long.
