Breathless
“Where did you get that?” she asked pertaining to the fishes I am grilling.
I rolled my eyes.
A girl scout always knows what ‘survival’ is.
“At the wilderness.” I mockingly answered her.
“Okay.” Then she drank water.
Water!?
My throat suddenly became dry.
I became thirsty.
“Where did you get that?” I asked her.
“At the wilderness.” She retorted.
Psssh.
I’m so thirsty!
“Let’s have a deal. I’ll give you food and you’ll give me water.”
She nodded, handed me the water and took a fish.
“Ah. This is heaven.” My thirst is quenched!

It took us a long while before we have put up a place to rest our bodies at.
“So, your OCD finally became useful.” She commenced when she looked at the product.
“Of course. I will sleep there that’s why it has to be very comfortable for me.”
“It’s actually a ‘we’. An ‘us’.” She said sitting beside me.
“What ‘us’ and ‘we’?”
“You expect me to sleep in the sand? Maybe you’re forgetting, we both made this, so it’s just right that we have to share.” Now it dawned me. Now I’m panicking.

“No! I won’t be sleeping with you!” I protested.
“Fine with me. You may sleep in the sand.” She laid down.
