(CHAERIN’s POV)

I can’t believe that I am here in front of Sandara’s apartment.

It was only this dawn that I arrived at my unit, without even having three hours of sleep, Daddy called.

“Are you with Dara?” he asked me straight to the point.

“No Dad.” Of course I’ll tell the truth!

“What!? You just got married and you left her alone just like that?”

“If only you know what kind of creature did I marry father.”

I’d rather sleep the whole day at the condominium than spend a day with her!

She’s too carefree as if she doesn’t care about her surroundings.

She’s too impulsive, adventurous and too childish.

And I don’t know how and why she was able to get a slot at the bureau.

She’s a rebel. A rebel.

But here I am, fetching her per order from the high officials of the clan.

As if we’re teenagers who needed to be watched over.

‘This bullet will pass through your ribs if you dare talk about that stupid honeymoon.’

I was about to ring their apartment’s doorbell when somebody opened it.

“Hul!” I gasped.

“Oooooh! Hhiiiiii!” who is this!?

“U-uh. I-is Sandara around?”

“Yes! Get inside! I’ll be leaving now!” and walked away. Didn’t even care to introduce a name perhaps?

The main door is open, only the screen door is closed so I can see what’s inside the apartment from where I am standing.

The loud music, the unarranged furniture, the trash. Goodness!

Throw pillows, magazines, slippers, clothes, papers, empty canned juices and drinks. This is not a place to live in! Is she even cleaning!?

And suddenly, the stereo blasted.

She didn’t notice me but my jaw dropped.

She’s wearing a tight very short gray cotton shorts and a white razor back dress showing off her black bra.

I gulped. My throat suddenly became dry. Especially when she started dancing with the song.
