Mir opened his eyes slowly. Lately, he had been dreaming every night. They weren't just dreams. They were actually fragments of his memories.

Mir sighed as he patted his jeans pocket. He fished out a necklace. Taemin gave it to him, saying it was actually from Sanghyuk. Sanghyuk was meaning to gave it to Mir for his birthday and asked Taemin to keep it for him. He was afraid that Mir would find it if he kept it with him or in the tent that they shared together. Taemin said that Sanghyuk took the necklace during their last hunting at the mall. When they met Seungho, Byunghee, Joon and Sanghyun for the first time. But Sanghyuk never got a chance to give it to Mir in person.

Mir smiled at the necklace. It was in the shape of a dragon. The name of Mir was of a dragon that rise to heaven. Maybe that what made Sanghyuk chose the necklace. He wondered though, when Sanghyuk had the chance to grab the accessory. Without him noticing. Well, he did got a bit distracted by the first meet with Seungho, Byunghee, Joon and injured Sanghyun.

"Hey, we need to get going." Rain suddenly appeared in the room. Since the last fall, their group had moving from place to place. But, not without any destination.

Sometimes, if they were lucky enough, they would spent their night at safe houses but sometimes they just had to sleep at the roadside.

Rain told them before he was locked up by the beast boy as Rain had called the six psycho kidnapper, the built guy had heard from the broadcast that there would be safety fort at the west part of the country. And they had been moving towards the said fort. 

Truthfully, Mir didn't really believe it. He looked at it as another pipe dream. Maybe at the early time of the outbreak there were that kind of place. But it was already over a year since. But, this at least gave hope to them. Hope to keep trying.

-The first chapter was Mir's dream. Actually, this fic will have several flashbacks. And you guys should refer back to the first fic of apocalypse (in case you guys don't understand) because I did this flashback in apocalypse II based on the hints and several dialogs and scene in first fic of apocalypse-
