Donghae's Point of View


I was walking down the hallway until I heard someone calling out my name.

"Hey Donghae! Wait up for me!" Siwon shouted.

I slowed down a bit and waited for Siwon to catch up before I started walking again. 
"Hey, what's up Siwon?" I said.

Siwon seemed tired after chasing after me and he slowly said, "Hey... Hyung... you walk too fast... *cough* I need... to ask you something..." 

I laughed at how silly Siwon was because he is the captain of the soccer team and don't you run a lot when you play soccer? But here is Siwon, all tired out after running down the hallway...
After laughing at him, I asked, "Yeah, what do you want to ask me?"

When I said that, I could see a shy smile on Siwon's face and he started saying, "Well... you know how you have a new girl in your class... Tiffany right? Well... you guys seem to have gotten close and well..."

"Yes...?" I questioned Siwon. "Do you happen to like her or something" I .

"Well... I saw her at lunch yesterday, and thought she was pretty cute, and then she walked up to throw away her trash and I was there too, and she smiled at me... and omg, HER SMILE WAS SO CUTE!! You have to hook us up! Please hyung!" He pleaded. 

"LOL! You didn't even talk to her yet, but you like her already. You are one funny man. Anyway, how am I supposed to hook you up? Tell Tiffany, 'Hey, one of my friend think you are cute, please go out on a date with him?" I jokingly said.

"No! Don't say that! That'll make it too obvious!" Siwon whines.

"What else am I suppose to say?" I asked Siwon.

Siwon let out a deep sighed but then in 3 seconds, his face lifts up and he then said, "Oh hyung! I got an idea! I have a soccer game today!" 

I just nodded a bit and said, "Yes, I know you have a soccer game today... Do you want me to go watch it or something?" I asked confusedly.

"Yes! Come to my game, and bring Tiffany with you! And when you guys are at the game, make sure you tell her to watch me play or something. Maybe I can make her like me with my cool soccer moves or something!" He said excitingly.

"Umm, I guess I can bring Tiffany to the game but I don't think your plan will work. She's not really into sports, so I doubt she'll be watching." I sighed.

"Don't worry! I am the captain of the soccer team and I have the coolest moves ever. I bet my moves are going to catch her attention for sure." He said with a huge grin on his face.

"Well whatever you do, just don't mess up and cause the whole team to lose alright?" I said with a serious look on my face.

"Yes, yes hyung. I won't mess up! Just remember to bring Tiffany alright!" Siwon said.

"Yea, yea. I'll see you at the game." I said as I walk toward the classroom.

Gee, I don't really know if Siwon's plan will work or not. Sometimes, he just doesn't think straight like Jaejoong. No wonder I am their friend, I have to be the one who think straight for them. 

As I was walking over to my desk, I accidently bumped into Tiffany. 

"Oh sorry Tiffany, I didn't see you there. Are you okay?" I asked.

"Oh, Donghae! Yes I am fine. Thanks for caring." she shyly said. 

"No problem, I was the one who ran into you in the first place." I said. 

Tiffany just smiles her eye smile at me which made me remember what Siwon had told me. Tiffany was about to walk away so I quickly said, "Oh wait Tiffany! Are you going to watch the soccer get today? Since Jessica and Jaejoong both detention and we have to wait for them afterschool anyway and Taeyeon is going to be there too."

Her face lit up when I said that and she responded by saying, "Well since you ask, I'll go BUT! Promise me there's no guys' touching each other please! I had enough of that yesterday and I don't want to throw up or anything."

I gave out a chuckle and said, "Lol, Tiffany, soccer is a game where u kick the ball, it's illegal to touch someone."
"Ohh, then I'll go to the game for sure!" She said as she walked back to her desk. "See you at the game!" 

I waved back at her and went back to my desk as class began.

~After school at the game~

Tiffany, Taeyeon, and I were walking up the bleacher to find a seat until I spotted the gang sitting in the front row.

"Oh hey Donghae! Are you here to support Siwon?" Yuhno said with a wink.

I guess Siwon told Yuhno about his plan of bring Tiffany to the game so he can magically make her like him. 

I sighed and said, "Haha... Yea I guess I'm here to support him." as I sat down on the bleachers. 

"Yah!! Kim Taeyeon! Tippani!! Sit next to me you guys!" Yuri cheerfully said.

Oh no, if Tiffany sits next to Yuri, she'll end up talking to Yuri through the whole game and not watch Siwon. What to do, what to do, hurry up and think of something fast Donghae!

Tiffany was about to walk over to Yuri so I quickly stood up and said, "Hey Tiffany! Err... you think you can sit next to me? I want to show you something cool." 
Something cool? Ahhh! This is driving me crazy! How can Siwon expect me to get Tiffany attention?!

Tiffany just looked at me and said, "Alright, but first I have to tell Taeyeon something." and then quickly sat down next to Taeyeon, whispering something in her ear.

I sighed as I sat right back down at my seat and then I felt a punch on my arm.

"Smooth going Donghae!" Yuhno jokingly said to me. 

"What am I suppose to do? Just tell her to watch Siwon during the whole game?" I asked Yuhno.

Yuhno just laughed at me and said, "I don't know but I am glad Siwon didn't ask me to bring Tiffany to the game."

I just looked at Yuhno and gave him one of those death stare Sica always do when she's mad. 
"Woah, Donghae. I think you been hanging out with Jessica too much because you are starting to act like her. OMG DONGHAE! Don't turn into a girl!!" Yuhno said as he pretended to act scared.

I shook my head and said, "Oh shut up and help me get Tiffany to watch Siwon." 

Just then Sungmin popped out of nowhere and scooted toward us and whisper, " Woah! Who are those two pretty ladies?" and then pointed towards Taeyeon. 

"Uh Sungmin... Why are you checking out Taeyeon and Tiffany? You know how KangIn and Siwon feel about them already." I said.

He sighed and shook his head and said, "No not Taeyeon and Tiffany!" and then held my head with his head and pivot my head towards the other two girls next to Taeyeon and Tiffany and said, "Them."

I look up ahead and try to make out the faces of the two girls that Sungmin was talking about and boom! A light bulb just lighted up in my head!

"Oh! I know who they are! Follow me." I said and stood up and walked on over to where Taeyeon was. The rest of the gang followed behind me as we were walking.

"Sooyoung! Sunny! Long time no see. How are you guys doing?" I politely ask. 

"Oh same old things. I still haven't grown and Sooyoung continues to create world hunger!" Sunny playfully said. 

"I do not create world hunger! World hunger just likes to follow me around when I eat..." Sooyoung said. 

When Sooyoung said that, everyone couldn't help but laugh and then the introduction continued. 

First KangIn gave a short introduction, and then Yuhno did the same but he was a bit more descriptive but wanted to watch the game instead of talking. Sungmin, on the other hand, made his introduction into a movie or something. Wow, in all the years I seen Sungmin trying to flirt with girls, this is the first time I seen him so into it. Most of the time, he is whatever with the whole introducing himself to girls because he is only doing to get attention, but this time, it's starting to get scary seeing him flirt for real. 

Anyway, I didn't really want to witness Sungmin's ways of flirting and I can see Tiffany is all dazed out about it so I walked on over to her to start Siwon's plan. 

"Hey Tiffany! Come and watch the game with me! I want to show you something cool!" I tried to say it with enthusiasm. 

Tiffany quickly smiled the eye smile that won the heart of Siwon and skipped towards me. So this is probably why he likes her. Tiffany is pretty cute after all. 

When Tiffany made her way over, she said, "I'm here oppa! What did you want to show me?"

I quickly scanned the soccer field to find Siwon, and as I was looking at the field, I can see him perfectly... He was right in front of us, jumping up and down waving at us. 

"Look oppa! That funny guy is waving at us!! Let's wave back at him!" she said as she waved to Siwon.

I just stared blankly at Siwon and couldn't believe what he was doing. While he was still jumping up and down, he made a heart out of his arm towards Tiffany. 

"Omg! Donghae oppa! He loves us! Haha let's cheer him on! Woooo! Go funny man!" Tiffany cheered. 

Wow... Isn't Siwon making it too obvious now? 

I let out a deep sigh and said, "Tiffany, that funny man is my friend Siwon. Other than being a funny man, he's a really good soccer player so let's watch."

"Alright oppa! So far, I like soccer more than wrestling! How about you?" asked Tiffany.

"Hmmm... I like any sports I guess. It has to be interesting though." I said. 

"Ohh I see. Oh look! The funny man just kicks the ball into the goal! Good job funny man!! Woooo!" Tiffany shouted. 

I guess Siwon's plan actually work, because his moves are getting Tiffany attention. No need for me to point things out. 

"So Donghae, what is with Jessica and Jaejoong? They seem so cute together but they always fight." Tiffany asked.

"Yeah, I know what you mean. They weren't always like this though." I said. 

Tiffany gave me a cute confused look and said, "Really?!? What were they like before then?"

"Hmmm. Well Jaejoong, Sica, and I have been friends ever since preschool and they still kind of act like they do today, but in a nicer way." I said as I try to think further back into my childhood with those two. 

"Wow! You guys knew each other since Pre-School?! That is so long but cool" Tiffany said. 

"Haha, well it is pretty cool. Back in Pre-School, it was just the three of us together. If one of us get sick, the other two won't go to school and either go to the sick person house to take care of them but we would end up getting sick too, but it's better to be sick together than being sick alone." I said. 

"Oh my gosh, that sounds so cute!! I wish I had a friend to be sick with!" Tiffany said. 

"Haha! Ohh and I remember one time for Sica's birthday, her parent invited the whole class to the party, but we still ended up playing by with just the three of us. I even remembered the presents we gave her! Jaejoong gave Jessica Mr. Snuggles and I gave her crown shaped pillows because she likes to sleep and stuff." I smiled at the memories. 

"Ohh! I saw Mr. Snuggles and the crown pillows at Jessica's house yesterday!!" Tiffany exclaimed. 

"Oh really?" I said. It is a relief to know that she still have the pillows I gave her after finding out she still have Mr. Snuggles. "Sica really loved the bear that Jaejoong gave her but the kids at the party apparently did not. So the stupid kids at the party were making fun of Jessica for liking the bear so I think this is why Jessica reacts the way she do when people find out about Mr. Snuggles." 

"So this is why Jessica gets sad about the bear? What are those kids? Robots?! Hello! In Preschool, the cute stuff was totally in! What is wrong with them?!" Tiffany said angrily.

I laughed at how quickly Tiffany responded and said, "Haha, I know right? This is another reason why we three just stick together instead of hanging out with the other kids. But then, things started to change around middle school, Jaejoong started acting like the way he does, all Prince like and stuff, ordering people around, and he called Jessica an Ice Princess. I think this is probably when their friendship started withering away. The moment Jaejoong called her an Ice Princess, the whole class started making fun of Jessica, calling her Ice cold, or saying her heart is a block of ice. Because of that, Jessica started hating Jaejoong and then later they began frequently fighting like they do today."

"Seriously?! What if Jaejoong was only calling Jessica an Ice Princess because he wanted her to be her princess? Or maybe, he just at explaining himself or..." Tiffany continues to think of theories of why Jaejoong was acting the way he did which I thought was funny.

I let out a laugh but then started thinking back at what Tiffany said. What if Jaejoong really did want Jessica to be HIS princess? I know he at showing his emotions to girls but did it really started back then? Pshh... No way, Jaejoong wouldn't do that after he knows how I feel about her or would he?

"Or maybe it's his way of showing he care or something! OR!! ohh I got a good one now! What if he was playing make believe and wanted to live in a castle and Jessica was the only girl he knows so that why!" Tiffany said with a smile on her face after she finished all her theories on JaeSica.

"Umm, yea sure why not? Hey Tiffany, I'm going to go to the bathroom real quick. Tell me what happens during the game when I come back." I quickly said, trying to get away from all of her JaeSica theories. 

"Oh, alright oppa! I'll tell you what the funny man does next!" Tiffany said as she waved to me goodbye.

As I was walking, I couldn't help but think about all the things Tiffany had came up with. There's no way that Jaejoong could like Jessica right? We made a promise back then that if one of us likes someone, we'll support each other. A few days before Jaejoong started acting like a Prince, I told Jaejoong exactly how I felt about her and I remember that he said he will support me all the way til the end but after that day, that was when he started to act strange and when I told him, his facial expression was gloomy? Oh my god, does this mean that he like her too?! Why am I just finding out about this now?! 

I was lost in my mind and wasn't paying attention to where I was going until I accidently bumped into someone. 

I quickly bowed to the person I bumped into and said, "I'm sorry I bumped into you."

"Oh it's no problem... oh hey! Is that you Donghae?!" the stranger I bumped into said. 

As I was straightening up after bowing, I stare into the stranger's face, trying to find out who this person was and how did he know me. I heard this voice before and his eyes seem familiar? 

"OMFG! Are you Kim Junsu?!" I yelled

"Oh, hyung! You remember me! I thought you would have forgotten me by now." Junsu said happily.

As I was listening to him talk, it felt like a fire was burning in my eye. 
Kim Junsu.
He was the one who left Taeyeon in a depressed state for over 2 years and she almost tried to kill herself because of him.

"Junsu, what are you doing back here. I thought you moved to Japan for good." I angrily said.

"Hey Donghae, I thought you would be the understanding one. Don't get mad at me, I did go to Japan but my parents wanted me to go to a university in Korea so that's why I came back here." Junsu said.

"Well couldn't you come back when it's actually time to go to a university? Or do you have another reason why you're back." I began questioning him.

"Donghae, buddy! Don't get mad at me. The past is the past, I'm a changed man." Junsu tried to reason with me.

"Junsu, I'm warning you. Stay away from Taeyeon. Leave now and don't ever come back." I said fiercely. 

"But...?" Junsu try to say before I cut him off.

"No buts, just leave NOW!" I furiously said.

"Okay, fine. I'm leaving but don't think this will be the last you will see of me. I'm still in Korea and it's a small world after all." Junsu said as began to turn around and walk away.

But before Junsu could leave, Sooyoung came at the wrong time and yelled out, "OMG! IS THAT YOU JUNSU?! OMG I HAVE TO TELL EVERYONE!" 

"Wait! Sooyoung DON'T!" I said as I ran after her. While I was running after her, I could see that Junsu was following us too. That stupid Junsu, didn't I tell him to leave already!
I was trying to run as fast as I could up the bleacher, trying to stop Sooyoung. She was just a few feet away from as we reached the top of the bleacher. 

But I was too late. 

"TAEYEON!! LOOK WHO'S HERE!!"
