Suzy and Kyungsoo planned to go back to their hometown a week before the school starts.

Since Kris isn’t home, Suzy just left the house, leaving a note and attached it on the TV monitor. She went to Kyungsoo’s condominium unit to fetch him and off they go to their hometown. They were both excited to see their families.

Every time Kyungsoo asks Suzy about how was her stay in her new job, Suzy was just saying that she’s fine, everything is doing well, and her boss is nice. She didn’t want to disappoint him and his parents, and she doesn’t want them to think that she is complaining on the job offered and given to her. She just thinks of it as a blessing though his boss is evil and as long as she can study in her dream school, she will endure his evilness.

“Mom, I’ll ask my dentist to take my braces off before I go back to Seoul,” Suzy said.

“Okay, I think it has been two years already,” Mrs. Bae said while chopping onions.

Suzy nodded. “Mom, is anything wrong with what I look?”

Mrs. Bae looked at Suzy from head to toe. “Nothing. Why did you ask that? Is anyone bullying you?”

Suzy chuckled. “No one, mom. I’m just asking.”

Mrs. Bae smiled and petted her daughter’s head. “Nothing is wrong with you, Suzy. Being yourself is enough. Oh, by the way, are you drinking your eye medicine on time?”

“Yup! I’ll get to see clearly without these eyeglasses soon!” Suzy smiled. She is under medication because of her blurry eyesight when she is not wearing her eyeglasses.

“I’ll look forward to that, sweetie.”

Suzy rubbed her mom’s right shoulder while saying, “Please take care of yourself, too. Okay? Also dad and our little Haru.”

Mrs. Bae nodded with a smile on her face. “We will, Suzy. I’m just a little bit sad because you’ll be far from us starting next week.”

“Don’t worry, mom. When I have enough money, I’ll go home every month.” Suzy hugged her mom. Their family will surely miss each other.

“Kyungsoo, look! No more braces! Ha!” Suzy bragged while they were walking from the dental clinic.

Kyungsoo frowned. “You look weird. More like of a rabbit.”

Suzy hit Kyungsoo’s arm softly. “Say that I’m cute.”

“I know I know, okay. I’m cute.”

“Aigoo. So full of himself. Tsk tsk.” Suzy shook her head and walked ahead of Kyungsoo.

“Hehe. Are you excited for next week?”
