“Suzy? Are you alright?” Jieun, Suzy’s co-worker at the café, asked.

Suzy was smiling like an idiot while holding the handle of the mop. She just nodded. No words were uttered, just an idiotic smile of hers.

“Aye. You look happy? Did you get to eat pizza last night? How about your favorite chocolate? What was that again? Hersheys? Ah, no. I guess it’s –”

Suzy squinted towards Jieun. “I’m on a diet, Jieun.”

“Really? When did you start? Just now?” she teased while chuckling.

“Yeah, just keep on doing that.” Suzy rolled her eyes but not in a mean way. “I will start my diet tomorrow. I promise.” She smiled.

Jieun laughed. “Then when tomorrow comes, you’ll say ‘I promise I will go on a diet tomorrow’. Are you really serious about that, Suzy? I kept on hearing that almost everyday.”

Suzy pouted. “It’s hard to go on a diet. I love eating. Who cares if I'm fat?”

“Being fat is not bad, Suzy, but you’re growing old. You should eat balanced diet and take care of your health. You don’t want our schoolmates to bully you again, do you?”

While Suzy was serving orders, Jieun walked towards her and whispered, “Suzy, Kai’s here.”
